Sunset near our hotel My favorite beach. The smallest, but best for snorkeling. Nobody was there.

buyer be aware!!!!!

The staff was very nice and the location was great. Curacao is an amazing vacation destination. As for the hotel, it was very obvious the the hotel is in the middle of restorations or in need of restorations. It was recently sold which could explain why they had very limited staff and limited amenities. The pool was dirty and in need of repairs. I had one of the stairs steps break as I was going down from the room. This is after I had to change rooms from my original reservation. The staff was nice enough to do that for us. The original room was very small. The second room was great but in need of repairs. Either way we enjoyed it very much. What we did not enjoy was the lack services provided. Not only was it very expensive they had very limited options. They never had the requires items for the daily drink especial. We had to leave the village for every meal which got be be very expensive. In the middle of my original reservation we decided to change location to the Kura Holanda beach club on the west coast of the island. This change offered the all inclusive option. I did not get any assistance from the hotel, I simply had to pay for another reservation. I think it was worth the extra money. The property is beautiful and offer a great beach. Once again, The food was simply ok and all inclusive items where limited to lower tier drinks only. It is obvious that changes have to be made to this properties. I love the island but prepare to have extra money. We had most of our meals outside the hotel. Enjoy the many beaches by renting a car and exploring the island.

Prime location

Kura Hulanda is a very good location. It is downtown where you can walk towards everything. There is restaurants and shopping centers within distances. There is no beach but there is a pool on site of the hotel. The beach is a short distances away where you can take a bus ride, cabs are super expensive in Curacao. Housekeeping cleans everyday, there does seem like a shortage of towels at times. Otherwise the hotel is In good shape.

All beautiful !!!! I went to Kura Hulanda with my wife, and we stayed there for 5 nights. It was amazing, we stronglly recommend. The island was beautiful, the hotel was world class, and the overall experience was excellent. The best decision that my wife and I made was to rent a car for a couple of days. This allowed us to see every part of the island. I love Curacao because every beach we went to there were very little people. Enjjoy!

Would not return to this property

The power went out early on 8/17 and was not restored until late in the evening (with a generator that should have been implemented prior to dark). Instead of the property placing us into another room as we requested, we were told to wait with no air conditioning or lights. After discussing with the staff how inappropriately the situation was handled, we were given vouchers for breakfast. In addition, the sister property where the beach is located (approximately 45 minutes away) was very rocky and not worth visiting. The shuttle bus driver was almost 45 minutes late and our beach time was not extended because of his tardiness.
