wow

This place is fantastic. Nicest beach in Cozumel. Great attentive kind staff. Beautiful pool. Cabanas on the ocean are spectacular. Wonderful place to spend the week. Snorkeling right from the hotel is world class. Workout facility is much nicer than any gym back home. Food was great. One of the few hotels in the world I would consider a second visit to.

awesome vacation

Everything about this place was very good to great. The room view wasn’t great but the only time we spent in the room was to sleep. We just wanted to be on the beach and snorkel as much as we could. I think if I go again which I will for sure I would bring my own mask and snorkel and rent fins. We grabbed beach chairs in the morning on the beach under the shade. Stayed there all day getting lunch (delicious tacos) and drinks (bucket of beers) served to us all day by Guillermo (great guy). Snorkeling was great. Saw sea turtles, skates, and tons of beautiful fish. Was going to grab a car and drive around island to explore but decided we were enjoying this resort way to much to waste time doing that. Glad we did because we ended up going in town to supposedly the best restaurant on Cozumel Big disappointment! This is a big resort with many different beaches and a couple pool options. Be sure to get out and explore.

Honeymoon Paradise

Recently renovated, this hotel had so much to offer we didn't even want to leave - white sands beach with snorkeling just offshore; a choice of three great restaurants; live music in the evenings; poolside and beach-side service; a beautiful new spa and exercise room; fanciful beach and pool "beds" hung with sheer white curtains; and easy access to the airport and ferry. But the best of all was the outdoor rain-shower that was big enough for two! All this luxury does come at a price. This is not your typical all-inclusive resort. The up-side is that it is quiet and elegant and definitely set apart from the mass tourism and party scene. (Two weddings held on the premises did not interfere with the enjoyment of the other guests.) The down-side is that in order to get a pool-side or beach-side room the upgrades cost more than double the initial room rate and the hotel counts on you wanting to upgrade from their standard rooms which are small and not yet renovated. We upgraded because it was a special occasion, but might think twice at the price for future trips.
