Jamaica Mon

Love Iberostar in Dominican however this trip to Jamaica was a fail. Our first day there we wasted four hours and a sales pitch. There is a definite party crew that comes in and ruins the romance and ambience of the resort. The service level was low. Definitely will not be returning to this resort at this location.

No Disappointments

We had a terrific time at the Iberostar Grand Hall. Excellent service, very well maintained structurally, and the grounds were beautiful. The food was very enjoyable, although not 5 palm great. The pools offered peaceful to party time options to fit your mood. The beach area was great and is "rock free", unlike many other resorts in this area. The rooms were nice and cool, good size, and didn't notice noise from other rooms; however, we were on the top floor. The entertainment was pretty good, but would have liked more nighttime outdoor entertainment. Overall very nice, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and yes we will recommend this to our friends.

Our Honeymoon

We stayed at Iberostar Grand for our honeymoon the last week of Aug 2017 and it was incredible! With the Grand, you have access to all 3 areas (Beaches and Suites, including their restaurants). Our airline temporarily lost our luggage so for the first 2 days we had almost nothing. The concierge, Omar Black, did anything he could to make sure we had everything we needed, and also made sure we didn't miss out on anything like getting to the specialty restaurants! He was amazing and treated us like his own family, as did most of the employees. The view from our Ocean front room was breath-taking and made me want to sleep out there at night on the couch or the big swinging, covered bench (not sure what they were called, but I loved it). The restaurants were fantastic...Jamaican, a Surf and Turf, French, Italian, and Japanese - hibachi style. Each night I thought the next one was my favorite! No matter what time or day, or where you were, there was someone ALWAYS there ready to get you your drinks/food...they'd make sure you were always with drink (alcohol or non-alcohol) in hand, and if you went into the pool, or ocean a few steps away, and you were "empty," they would know exactly what you ordered, and get another one so when you got back to your lounge it was ready and waiting. And my FAVORITE was the swim-up bar. They just made everything so fun!! So many activities out at the pool area and at night you can catch a show. We made friends with some of the entertainers who would just "hang" with you when they saw you the next day. So much more to say, but you get the idea...This is the only place I've ever wanted to return to! And we plan on it!

Jamaican Paradise !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was the best vacation I`ve ever experienced hands down !! My hubby & I stayed 8/29/17 thru 9/3/17 and I must say we were both in awe of this beautiful gem. The room was everything and more !! Just beautiful.... The food was to die for and every dining option was remarkable !! Top chef quality. The hotel staff are magnificent from check in to check out they were there to make your vacation a grand experience. The pools, beach, spa, food, bars, & entertainment were amazing. The only suggestion I would give this hotel is to play louder music on the beach and near the pool. And also to provide more entertainment at the beach & pool areas. The lobby bar is great , but once again, it would have been nice to listen to some great tunes after the piano guy leaves for the night. May I suggest a playlist containing reggae, R & B and oldies but goodies !! The pools close at 7:00 pm which is a downer for those who like to take an evening dip. Most places I`ve been leave at least one pool open for use throughout the evening hours. Thanks for a great vacation Iberostar Grand & we`ll see you soon XOXOXO
