Good value

Service was outstanding, each and every staff member was great. Beach was rocky, the ladder off the dock provided an alternative way to enter the water. Beatrice at the spa provides a great massage! Good value in a small resort. Ala Carte restaurants need improvement, if you offer Tuna as an entre you should be able to serve it rare. Steak house needs to serve the cut the customer requests. Buffet was consistently better than the restaurants. Again overall a positive experience, thank you to the Iberostar.

3rd time around

It was once again the most amazing vacation. The resort seems to have gone thru some changes with staff. Most of the people we became acquainted with last year were no longer there and you could tell from the shows that the Star Friends were relatively new. However, we love it here and are already planning our 4th trip in 6 months. Two of our friends were injured while there and they went out of their way to get us taken care of. One resulted in an ambulance ride to the hospital. When they became aware of her injury they moved her to a downstairs room next to us so we could take care of her. We love Iberostar Cozumel and it is our yearly vacation! Great food, safe drinks and a very friendly staff.

Delightful vacation

First time to stay in Cozumel. Fewer off-site options than Cancun. But, that was fine with us. We did rent a car and explored the island, including the ruins at San Gervaise and the Lighthouse. The resort had a wonderful selection of activities and the food was outstanding. At a tropical location you expect a lot of seafood, and the Iberostar did not disappoint. Delicious! The theme nights in the restaurant and for the entertainment were wonderful. Hard working activities staff including Erica, Alex and David. Room was compact, but had plenty of shelves and drawers. Nice to have a private balcony/patio outside of the room. Resort provided two large umbrellas and we got super lucky - only had to use them twice. Late October is their off-season, so the palapas, beach chairs and pool area were never crowed. Could always grab a ping pong paddle/table. If I had to nit pick I'd recommend that the lobby furniture be updated. It is sad and tired looking. Also, bring your aqua socks. As you walk out into the water, the ground is uneven and rough. Also, I played tennis 7 out of the 10 days I was there. The entire time I had to play with a "junior" racket, because one of the full sized rackets was broken. I was tempted to drive down to the Mega Store, pay the $20 and donate a new racket to the Resort.
