Great trip!!

Pros: -smaller resort and easy to navigate -they were accomidating at the front desk! Per reccomendations of other reviewers, we asked for a 2nd floor room to avoid any water issues (which it rained a lot so I'm glad we asked) and my bad allergies -great food!! There was a variety and it all tasted great!! (Ignore the negative reviews I promise there is a variety for everyone) -lots of beach and pool seats -friendly staff -drinks were great -didnt feel pressure to tip -we had bad weather but what was great is each room's has a giant umbrella in it and you could get more if you asked the front desk -bottled water in the room was great (also beer and soda) -we aren't big on the party/drunks scene so it was nice the place shut down around 11pm and it stayed quiet -lots of beautiful animals on land and in the water -the beach was clean and no one bothered you to buy stuff like I've seen at other all inclusives Cons- (not necessarily the vault of iberostar but just in case you are trying to narrow down between hotels) -it is not 15 minutes from the airport as it says on cheap Caribbean but we did have 2 stops to other hotels along the way but it is the last resort -not a lot of space to hang clothes/suits up in the bathrooms. Things dont dry overnight due to the humidity so clothes and towels were everywhere! -the ocean wasn't great but we read the reviews and knew to bring water shoes and were prepared to enter off the dock. But you were on rocks in the water and tended to slip Recommendations: read the reviews and decide what you value!! We wanted to get away for inexpensive and we were not disappointed(minis the weather)! Not everyone does all inculsives the same way and some people just nitpick! Its a beautiful country and they do a great job with accommodating foreigners!

Nice resort

Very nice, quiet and relaxing. There was no loud music unlike other resorts where we stayed. That was greatly appreciated. The beach was excellent; not too crowded. Snorkeling right on the beach was very convenient and fun. Service was great too. The food variety. was not too good though. Usually there was either chicken or pork in the buffet and very little fish dishes. When fish was served it was mostly tilapia, There were the same vegetable and salad dishes every day. Soups were way too salty. Hamburgers at the beach were excellent. Oriental restaurant was the best out of 3. Overall, it is a very good resort. We enjoyed snorkeling and the premises very much.

A peice of paradise

the Iberostar Cozumel was a piece of paradise. Pool was nice and not too crowded. The beach had a lot of marine life since it was rather rocky, once you got into the water. The staff always kept folks entertained. Lots of food choices. Would have preferred more modern music played over the speakers rather than cover singers of popular songs. the original songs would have been better.
