Family best

This is by far the best family vacation we have taken. The Hotel was beautiful . Activities in the hotel were great. We did outside excursions but really did not need to. Snorkeling was not at all what I expected. Did not see much . Tips go a loooong way. we tipped in US money gave 1$.(do not give $ coins they do not exchange them at the same rate as paper $) loved parasailing and swimming with the dolphins.beach had a lot of seaweed they did their best cleaning it but it was a lot and got stuck in your hair . the resort was beautiful and it was very big. staff was fun and very kind and respectful .

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND AMAZING!!

We went for the last week of October 2018 for our honeymoon, and I can’t express how wonderful this hotel is! From the moment we walked into the lobby until the minute we left everyone was so polite, friendly and willing to help in any way possible! The beach was impeccable, had larger waves two days because of wind, but we ended up dancing in a foam party they had and drinking and relaxing! We had no issues getting a chair/hut on the beach or pool in the morning. Jennifer was the best server imaginable! We had her at the pool, the beach and in the lobby at night, she was a ton of fun and she kept the drinks coming! We found they were very generous with their pours in the drinks, so be careful if you’re not a big drinker! They pretty much make any drink you can think of! The margaritas and pina coladas were our favorite! The food! Wow the food. Best food we’ve ever had, we tried all but the Mexican since were from Texas. The Indian “boghali” and the Italian restaurant were absolutely spot on and delicious, live music and entertainment was great, the 24 hour sports bar is a HUGE plus as we are night owls. The excursions were great on site as well. We had the room with the rooftop terrace, it was great because we could hangout and enjoy the jacuzzi late into the night and play card games or listen to music without having to leave the room, mini bar was stocked each morning, 2 presidents, 2 Budweiser, water and four sodas and snacks. Fresh towels daily if needed. We didn’t have any problems walking the length of the resort, it’s big but it’s fun to explore. There are covered pathways pretty much everywhere in case you hit a time of bad weather. There were carts and the trains that drove people around non stop, they were easy to catch. Cheap Caribbean was fantastic and made the vacation easy, we did the shared transfer that worked out great and highly recommend, it made the process of getting to the hotel very easy Our bed was unfortunately very uncomfortable and the frame super squeaky. The bed had a huge crater in the middle. We are already planning a trip back in January!

Fantastic Resort

We stayed for 10 days for our honeymoon, and it was totally worth it. This was also our first experience at an all-inclusive resort. Right from the beginning we were taken care of. Transportation from the airport was simple. Someone carried our luggage, provided a cold welcome drink and a cool towel as we walked in to the lobby. We arrived before check in time, so we enjoyed lunch, then our room was ready. Our room was upgraded to a romance suite as a honeymoon gift from the resort. From the very beginning, everything was flawless. Cannot say enough about the staff, the facilities, the restaurants and the beach. Only gave 4 stars for "service" because the resort allows outside vendors, and you can't go anywhere without them trying to sell you something. It got to the point we changed our direction of travel to avoid them on occasion. We gave dining options 4 stars because the food was pretty good and there was plenty of selection, but it was not 5 star quality. Also, the only two beer selections were Presidente and Budweiser. However, we generally are not picky and found that there was almost never a time we needed anything. And when we did, the staff took care of it immediately. Some reviews mentioned seaweed on the beach. Yes, there was some seaweed, but unless you have some kind of phobia it did not create a problem. The beach was otherwise stunning. And one last thing... the resort is enormous. We are young and didn't mind, but if you have any issues with walking long distances this might not be the place for you. Although they do provide a transit service around the resort, it would probably be inconvenient to have to use it constantly. All things considered, I would go back tomorrow without hesitation.

Good vacation

Get ready for an in depth review. First thing I will say is DO NOT underestimate how big this resort is. It didn’t bother me for the most part but it could be a little frustrating when you wanted to get somewhere quick. They do have trolleys to take you around the resort but it can be a wait at times. The restaurant options are great especially because they don’t require reservations. The buffets were okay but I was happy that they had Dominican dishes available and not just the usual Americanized stuff. I was disappointed by the mangu and that there was only queso frito just one of the days we were there. The beach was lovely. Water was crystal clear and the seaweed wasn’t bad. They also had a few beach bars so you didn’t have to hike to far too get a drink. The pool area was rather boring, I was surprised there was no music playing and not much rntertainment. They threw a beach party with a fire show that was a lot of fun. The rooms were small but cute. My room didnunfortunatey lose both power and water (on different days) for a few minutes but went back up and running.

What's to Love

All-inclusive beachy hot spot on the jaw-dropping Bavaro Beach. Totally worth it.

Spectacular service that spoils you from the moment your flip-flops hit the deck. And, reservations not needed at the restaurants.

Five pools throughout the complex where you can sip and sun and savor this vacay haven.

Cocktail service on the beach and at the pool. Let the drinks come to you, while you sip under the Palapa.

Detoxing at the gym, then being pampered at Zentropia Spa - nothing beats sinking into a Turkish Bath.

Activities galore for you and the fam, including a Kid's Club and a club for the teens.

What We'd Change

This is a huge resort, but it has to be if you want all the great features.

Why You Should Go

A short zippy ride from the airport to the resort where a Welcome Cocktail awaits you and the party starts.

You've got privileges at the two other resorts in the Palladium Punta Cana complex. Mega bonus.

A palatial sized resort that caters to all your dining whims. Some are spread out, giving you time to explore.

Themed parties throughout the week - like the Foam party on Thursday. Crazy fun.

Buy your tourist card before you leave - saves a step at the airport so you can get beachy faster.
