It was mediocre.

The hotel was beautiful... the rooms were comfortable and clean. The customer service was questionable all around From check-in to the restaurant service was not very good. Every morning it toook at least 25 mins to get water and cofffee. Only 1 restaurant took reservations and the rest of the restaurants would take a long time to get seated yet Restutant was empty.

One of the best places I've ever been!

First, the hotel grounds are gorgeous. Very clean, and very big. The room we stayed in had a very nice bed (I like harder beds, so those who like softer beds may not be as happy), and a room that had decorated outdoor shower and hammock right next to it. One night, there was a steady rain for a couple of hours, and I just laid in the hammock, listening to the sounds (the room has a straw roof, with a tiny opening to let sunlight in, so I didn't get wet). The food was GREAT! Anyone who liked Latin Caribbean cuisine won't be disappointed in the least, and the other options like hamburgers or chicken will be satisfied. There are so many restaurants to choose from. If you are there for a week, you could probably have dinner in a new place each night. The best part of my trip was the people. Everyone in the hotel was lovely. I felt so comfortable talking to anyone who was there. My favorite thing that most people asked was if I ate yet. That's a question I ask my friends and family all the time, so I felt right at home. Not only do I plan on returning here, I wish I was doing it tomorrow.

The enormity of the entire complex is overwhelming at first and somewhat confusing to find your way to your room. Once you orient yourself to where you are and where you need to go on the property, you still have a substantial walk to get where you want to go, so distance is a problem sometimes for older folks. The service was average to sometimes not good depending on what venue you went to or what your trying to get done. The light in our bathroom was out for almost 2 days before it was finally fixed, after calling in excess of 5 times. Other than these draw backs, the property was very pretty and beach nice and roomy with very nice water.

HORRIBLE PUNTA CANA

Do not trust the pictures that you see on here. Our beach water was HORRIBLE brown MUDDY GROSS! Not clear sparkling beautiful water! The resort made it aware that you could not use the tap water out of the sink. How it was okay to take a shower I am not sure. It really sucks that you pay over 2,000 for a first time trip to come to muddy looking lake water! We wouldn't even set at the beach or go near it. We had to set at the pool the whole 4 days! I am very upset because cheap Caribbean did not mention it when we made the reservation knowing it was like that down in Punta Cana. I have wrote customer service 3 times and they have not reached out to me!

What's to Love

All-inclusive beachy hot spot on the jaw-dropping Bavaro Beach. Totally worth it.

Spectacular service that spoils you from the moment your flip-flops hit the deck. And, reservations not needed at the restaurants.

Five pools throughout the complex where you can sip and sun and savor this vacay haven.

Cocktail service on the beach and at the pool. Let the drinks come to you, while you sip under the Palapa.

Detoxing at the gym, then being pampered at Zentropia Spa - nothing beats sinking into a Turkish Bath.

Activities galore for you and the fam, including a Kid's Club and a club for the teens.

What We'd Change

This is a huge resort, but it has to be if you want all the great features.

Why You Should Go

A short zippy ride from the airport to the resort where a Welcome Cocktail awaits you and the party starts.

You've got privileges at the two other resorts in the Palladium Punta Cana complex. Mega bonus.

A palatial sized resort that caters to all your dining whims. Some are spread out, giving you time to explore.

Themed parties throughout the week - like the Foam party on Thursday. Crazy fun.

Buy your tourist card before you leave - saves a step at the airport so you can get beachy faster.
