Best Vacation Ever

The accommodations at Divi were outstanding. The staff created the “Happy Island” culture that Aruba is known for. They were also very clean and reliable. The options at the buffets were plentiful and the on-site restaurants had intimate and elegant atmospheres. From our room we had a great view of the beach and the freshwater pools. Aruba is a special island and staying at Divi only enhanced the island experience. We will definitely visit again. Best vacation ever.

Been here before

This is our 4th time in Aruba and our 2nd time here. Prior to this time, I would have highly recommended it. This time, we were met with some disappointments. Our "efficiency" room was essentially a" lockout" and incredibly noisy from neighbors. After the 2nd night, we asked to be moved. We were not treated pleasantly and when asking for an upgrade, we could have it for $350. They found us another "efficiency", which turned out to have a sewer stench and a leaking toilet. After that night, we moved again to another efficiency which was fine. So, 3 moves in 5 days! Normally, we would (and have) recommended this resort, but at this time not really sure. The pools are great and they have 3 to choose from. The food is very good. The staff at buffet and housekeeping are incredibly kind. The front desk not so much. Rather disappointed with this trip for what we paid. We will go back to Aruba, but not sure if we'll stay there. As for Cheap Caribbean, I used have used them several times. Very easy, very efficient and really on point. Again, this time, the transportation was messed up and the company made no effort to correct it. We spent quite a bit of time on that also. I hate saying these things cause we LOVE Aruba and Cheap Caribbean, but this trip left a lot to be desired.

Great little village.

Great little village. Close to town. Comfortable bed and room. The residents speak to you very kindly and in 4 different languages. Pool was a little murky. Ocean was rough. Glad i was able to visit aruba. Only thing i did not like was the presentation for the vacation club. Its optional, but i kinda felt guilted into it. Presentation was good, they ask you to keep an open mind. But they dont like rejection. Tried to make me feel guilty for not accepting the package. Overall though. I loved it.

What's to Love

Clean and quiet and tucked away, the condos feel like home with kitchen facilities that allow you to cook (if you want) and close access to the resorts pool and grounds.

What We'd Change

You won't be right on the beach, but it's just a short distance and after spending a day on Eagle Beach, it's nice to retreat to a quiet condo.

Why You Should Go

Aruba is one of the easiest places to travel - they accept US dollars so no need to exchange currency and the beaches and ocean waters are so smooth and tranquil.
