The food was of high quality with a great variety, and the customer service exceeded our expectations — very friendly, helpful, and professional. We truly enjoyed and loved every moment of our stay. Paradise by the beach
Rooms are dated and need upgraded. Electric points didn't all work. No big issue though. Over all great hotel. Could do with looking at the entertainment as it was a bit crap at times but didnt let it spoil the holiday. Can't fault anything apart from the rooms. Great holiday and would recommend to others.

Amazing holiday
We had a great time at Riu Bambu. Hotel is located on the beautiful beach with lots of palms. Food and drinks were good, all the bartenders are amazing and make you feel like family ;)

Jun 18, 2025RIU Bambú Nightmare
First of all, the disorganization displayed by RIU is incredibly irresponsible! We were supposed to be picked up by a representative of the resort, we ended up having to pay a third party for transportation. The check-in was not smith in anyway. They kept trying to recharge my card again at the hotel when I already had paid in full. The liquor is bottom of the barrel and I am pretty sure they water all the liquor down. The food is horrendous!!! Even the coffee was straight trash! The rooms are ok at first glance but upon further inspection you find that almost nothing works; Not the outlets, toilets, phones, etc. The towels are old and starting to fray. The supposed 24 hour snack bar would run out of burgers and buns every night, and they only served hotdogs and burgers. The beach was eroding and full, and I am not exaggerating when I say super full of seaweed!!! The shows were like a group of drunk karaoke performers, they did not know any of the lyrics. The reception staff are poorly trained. The one positive thing I can say about the resort is that the servers are very accommodating and try their best to please you. Worst resort ever!!!

Great facilities and services
First time in Punta Cana at Riu Bambi was a very nice experience, enjoyed the sun, ocean and resort entertainment program!!!
