We have been spending a week every year at Harborside since 2008 & since 2023 we have been staying for 2 weeks. We love the Bahamian people and culture. All the enmities of Atlantis and Harborside making our family vacation special & memorable.

The hospitality is unparalleled! The water and beaches are breathtaking. The resort needs to more work on its facelift to be ready to be a Marriott property. The rooms and area were exceptionally clean, the Harborside staff is kind, helpful, I enjoyed chatting waiting for and on the shuttles, at the pool, and on the property in general. What a wonderful group of people to see everyday! The room was clean, but it was dated and not quite ready to be a competitor with other local properties and other Marriott properties I have stayed in. I think a few more years and more resources from Marriott will make it a destination beyond just its proximity to Atlantis.

Stayed at Marriott Vacation Club Harbourside but it is a Marriott by name only. Tried to get us to buy a time share that is not a Marriott in their presentation. Said you would get a gift card of $175 for attending a presentation. No card they credit your room bill. $24 a day for internet in your villa!! Property is nice but it is an older building. No grills available for cooking, The Atlantis property and pools are very nice. The restaurants are very good and expensive. Lots to see and do. Their free shuttles get you around very nicely. Will probably return. Just know it is not a Marriott.

Don’t leave your shirt in the room, they will fight you to get back in without a shirt. Ridiculous as it’s a beach resort. And the front desk was no help. Imagine spending thousands on a vacation and they don’t allow you to go back to your room. It’s so ridiculous.

Don’t go unless you know what your getting
My 3rd time to this resort- first two times great. This time awful. Apparently they are putting new roofs on their buildings - I was on the third floor of a four story building-imagine the noise that started very early in the morning and lasted all day. It was awful and they would not move me. I did not get a discount on a room that was told ahead of time that construction was happening- I paid the same as the other people at the resort, so why did this happen? 7 to 9 buildings at this resort and the one I stay in is under construction- they should only let people stay in that building who are getting some kind of construction discount and know this when going there. I was a 58 year old woman traveling solo and never was so uncomfortable with all the construction workers surrounding my room a the noise k like someone was trying to break in the whole time. I would have to leave my condo and hang out somewhere else on the resort until the construction workers were gone . I did ask to move but the workers just laughed at me and said it’s construction it’s fine.
