Disney Price Point with Sub-Disney Execution…
Atlantis is a fine family trip. It seems to be aging a bit and needs some work on keeping elevators and attractions running, but overall it’s a safe and fun place in paradise. The aquariums are pretty cool too. Bring your wallet though, nothing is included beyond the aquariums and water park. The food onsite is good but overpriced. For the same price point, I’d rather take the kids to Disney.

Vacation
Great vacation . My 3 nights four days was enough for me. Love the marine life around the park. The rides were amazing. You can play games, pool, beach, rides, etc. Something to do for everyone to enjoy.

Hotel Factory... Yay!
Nice beaches, but avoid eating at the hotel. The food is terrible and over priced. 15% tip is already included at every restaurant and you will be asked for an additional tip. The rooms are a bit aged and moist. Careful for the in-house pets (roaches).

Glad I went but won’t stay here again
Where to start. I booked connecting rooms so my teenaged daughters could have their own space. The rooms were clean and the views were nice. 1. Not having any hot water in the rooms every morning was NOT good. Finally spoke to one of the engineers dispatched to fix the problem and was told that the hotel turns on the boilers too late to get hot water to our rooms in the morning. For what we pay for rooms here that is simply unacceptable. They did offer to move us to different rooms but they would not be connecting and would be on different floors. Not an option with kids. 2. Food as everyone mentioned is very expensive. Expect breakfast for a family of 4 anywhere from $100-$150 I only wished the service was worth the price. Forget about Platos Kitchen for breakfast. It was $195 and the food and service were both terrible. First time in my life I had eggs Benedict and the eggs were hard boild. Lets move on the the spa. 3. My wife booked a facial and showed up early to enjoy the amenities advertised on the website. However, no amenities available as the spa was under going remodel. Now don't you think that is something you should share to a client when they book the experience? When you find out only when you show up, it is too late to cancel without a fee. To be fair the facial was excellent but the literal jack hammer happening on the other side of the treatment room wall did not add to the atmosphere at all. 4. The pools, beaches and grounds are lovely. 5. The marine life is excellent. Both my daughters enjoyed the dolphin experience and the vet program. 6. I will update after checkout tomorrow. I was told they would compensate us for the inconvenience we experienced. I will let you know.

🏖️ clean, safe, crowded
Disappointing overall. The resort looks impressive, is clean and super crowded. Airport transfer was easy. Pricing via costco was a good value compared to booking directly. The resort cannot accommodate all guests for dining - especially dinner. options are limited and pricey. Water slides and lazy river are fun. The private beach is great.
