    Would Not Recommend

    Room was very outdated and in sad state of repair and upkeep. Room phone did not work, room curtains were dirty and had holes in them, Sink was missing drain strainer, Water pooled on floor and very slow to drain while taking a shower.

    The resort staff was friendly upon arrival, the rooms themselves were clean but need to be updated. The bed needs to be replaced. The entertainment had very few options. The dining experience wasn’t great, multiple meals water was never offered nor is it stored where it could be self serve.

    It's ok, not great, just average

    Please read reviews. Positives: The beach is beautiful, the restaurants are included in the stay, the room is lovely, the bed is comfortable, the breakfast is awesome. We had a balcony room. The minibar was always stocked with coke, sprite and beer. The food is ok at lunch and dinner. It was quiet. I sat in the chairs by the beach and rested. Negatives: THERE ARE CRITTERS. Just be aware that in spring, there are animals on the property like racoons and crabs. You will hear monkeys. There was a leak in our toilet that was never addressed. We did speak to the front desk.

    Great vacation

    We enjoyed our stay with our family, the food was delicious and offered great variety. Our room was spacious and clean. We had a great vacation.

    Poor quality all-inclusive, 2* at best

    Buffet was like a bad, cheap cruise. Corroded shower. Dead bugs swept under bed/curtains. No wash cloths? Must be better places in Tamarindo, great town.

  • Advisory*Important Note* Costa Rica will impose some restrictions for Holy Week. Alcohol is not permitted to be sold or consumed. This ban on alcohol starts the Thursday prior to Easter and runs through Easter Sunday. A few hotels purchase special permits to serve alcohol, but generally it is not available.
