We booked a partial Ocean view room and were given a room on the second floor overlooking the pool and a view of the mountains and ocean. The beach itself is not swimmable, but it is beautiful to look at with the large waves. We could also see whales in the distance The staff here are incredible. Very nice and attentive. If you have an issue with your room, they fix it right away. The alcoholic drinks were great. The food in the buffet was delicious. We tried the Italian and it was pretty good but I think their choice of appetizers was too much. The room itself seemed humid all the time and it didn’t feel like the air conditioning was really working. That was probably our only complaint. We did open our door in the morning to let the cool ocean breeze in which helped. I really enjoyed the entertainment and especially liked the Riu Party which took place at the neighbouring Sante Fe resort What we especially loved was being able to eat outside for breakfast, lunch and dinner while looking at the incredible views. This was our 3rd visit. The property is well kept and met our needs. The speciality restaurants were accommodating. We found the steak house somewhat lacking - overcooked steaks and servers that seemed to be overwhelmed and also allowing guests who did not meet the dress requirements. The bartenders were all pleasant and fulfilled requests. Clean pools and grounds but I don't understand why the rooms are so humid - something we also found in 2009 & 2015. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Currently we don't have plans for a return in the near future.

Lovely Stay
This was our second time at the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas. The staff are wonderful. Special call out to Andrea and the bartender at the pool bar. If you are looking for a clean, well-appointed place to stay, this is it. Unfortunately, the hotel was busier than the last time we stayed and some of the restaurants were closed, meaning waits up to two hours. The steakhouse was not a good as last time, but Krystals was amazing.

A very memorable trip to celebrate my daughter's 40th birthdAY!
I have stayed at RIU Palace in Cabo many times, but this time was joined by my 2 daughters on a "Girl's Trip" for a birthday celebration. Weather was beautiful and we made such great memories...especially our "Whale Watching Excursion"!! Cannot wait to come back again!!

All-Around Great Experience
We really enjoyed the Palace! It is located in a beautiful setting oceanside. Beach is not really swimmable, but you can take short walk down the beach and get in. We went February and there was plenty of seating around the pools. The restaurants were generally accessible, though you must line up about a half hour before they open to get a seat. They probably need the capacity to seat more. Entertainment at night was a fun diversion. Service was great all-around by all the staff, expect a couple of the main seaters for restaurants were a little rude about us needing to come earlier if we expected a seat.
