Our stay was made all the more perfect by the staff, especially Maria, Francesco, Ruth, Mac and all the others who made our breakfasts and lunches so special and so much fun! The pool staff Otto, David and others who kept us laughing and enjoying our drinks!

We arrived and were checked in swiftly by friendly staff at reception. Rooms are a little dated / tired, but clean and have everything you need. The dining options are great, longest we had to wait for table of 6 was 45 minutes. Most of the time we got a table within 5 minutes. Restaurants we found of note were the French, Ciao (Italian), Toro (steakhouse) and Wai (Thai). However the food and service at the Faro buffet on the Adult side was fantastic. We have not enjoyed a buffet dining experience as good as this anywhere in the world. Maria, Ruth, Gaby, Mac (David guetta), and the unforgettable Francesco ‘Frankie’, we thank you for your service and humour, it was truly enjoyable dining at your great restaurant. Finally, the entertainment was also superb, the Queen and Coldplay Tribute acts were brilliant, as were the Beatles and Elvis tributes. Also ‘En Vivo’ played a great set. Overall a wonderful hotel and holiday, only reason for not giving 5 stars was the standard of the rooms, they are being renovated in many of the blocks, which is good to see.

Another Amazing Stay at Hard Rock Riviera Maya!
This was our third time staying at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya, and it was just as incredible as the first two! This trip we came for Day of the Dead, and it was such an unforgettable experience. The resort has made so many great updates. The lobby was full of fun — karaoke, Guitar Hero (which my daughter actually won!), bowling, and laser tag for two. There was also live music that made the whole place come alive. We had couples massages by the ocean with Cindy and Antonia, and they were absolutely amazing — the best massages I’ve ever had. The sound and scent of the ocean made it even more relaxing and beautiful. A special thank you to Nick, our concierge, and Maria, our poolside waitress. They were both outstanding! Maria especially went above and beyond — she was always there when I needed anything, and she made sure we were completely taken care of. She’s such a kind and genuine person; when we come back, I’ll definitely be looking for both Nick and Maria again! The pool area had crafts, games, and water slides for the kids, and even poolside face and head massages from Ryan — such a nice touch. One of the most memorable moments was when my husband surprised us with a private two-hour fire on the beach. It was magical — a cozy teepee and table setup with marshmallows to roast, pastries, delicious Mexican hot chocolate, and a full selection of drinks including sodas, water, and cocktails. Sitting by the fire, listening to the waves, and enjoying that moment together made the night unforgettable. We also did the Escape Room (Antidote and Scooby-Doo themes) with Natalie and George, and it was a blast. Overall, another perfect trip. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing experience✨
I stayed at Hacienda Azul, and I loved the activities they do in the pool aerobics, they even made Aperol Spritzes with a floating bar! Plus, Vicente and Alexis helped us with everything from the moment we arrived, they made sure we had everything we needed! Very grateful and highly recommend it😍😍😍

We went for a wedding in October, and since the moment we arrived, the experience was disappointing. They made us wait for 10 minutes in the rain because “our names didn’t appear on the list,” and they wouldn’t let us in. The staff at the restaurants treated us poorly, and as Mexicans, we clearly noticed the preference toward foreign tourists. At the outdoor bar with the ocean view, they were literally counting the beers you ordered. The jacuzzi didn’t work, and even though we had dollars ready for tips, we still couldn’t get decent service. When it was time to check out, things got even worse — no one helped us, and they wouldn’t allow the vehicle picking us up to enter the property. If you’re Mexican, I honestly don’t recommend this hotel.
