Jun 21, 2025Disappointing and Unsafe Stay at Royalton Antigua
I stayed at Royalton Antigua from June 19, 2025 and don't leave until June 23rd for a bachelorette celebration that was meant to be memorable for all the right reasons but unfortunately, it was marred by unacceptable conditions and poor service. From the moment we arrived: • Our room was infested with ants. • We found mold on the sheets and mold in the bathroom, which was particularly dangerous for me as I have asthma. • In the middle of the night, the air vent fell from the ceiling, creating a serious safety hazard. • We had no water pressure and sink drains that barely worked. I reported these issues on Thursday night and despite escalating to guest services and the onsite manager Marlon, nothing was addressed until Saturday. Two days later! I were told no alternative room was available, and instead offered a cabana or points for a future stay. Neither addressed the immediate health and safety concerns we faced. This experience was deeply disappointing, especially considering Royalton’s reputation. I expected far better from a resort of this caliber. I strongly urge management to take immediate action to ensure other guests do not endure similar conditions. ✅ If you have asthma, allergies, or simply expect a clean and safe room, please consider this review before booking.

Royalton so far been really awesome especially the gym, they have a good amount of everything , really good space for yoga , boot camp and Trx ..it’s not too big and not too small really love it shout out to Jameel and the gang they been really entertaining

Aqua fit & sip and paint
J'amalyn instructed one of the best aqua fit classes I have ever taken. She made it fun ,engaging while giving me a great workout. We were all laughing and having a great time in the pool. Douvert was the artist that held the sip and paint class. He was patient and helpful. Especially for a nonartist like myself. Class was fun and I ended with a painting that looks amazing and came away from both activities with fond memories.

Gym review
Royalton gym is really awesome it’s not crowded it’s very clean. I love the fact they have 100lbs dumbbells I got a good workout in ..Jameel and gang were really helpful thank you so much. They had equipment for us to do agility exercises for my son to train really loved it

E gym here at royalton is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and it has all the major equipment that you may need. And the staff is very nice and easy to talk to. The pool and beaches here are really clean and accessible will definitely be back. Shout to the gym crew Jameel, Shannon, J’Quan makes good mojitos! And Titi who is really energetic and fun to be around!
