Jul 18, 2025A Mixed Experience at Paradisus Grand Cana.
We stayed for six nights at Paradisus Grand Cana. The room exceeded expectations, with excellent housekeeping service provided by Mrs. Julia. The specialty restaurants (Machu, Teppanyaki, Karnica) offered great food and service, and Ayrin, the captain at Machu, deserves recognition for her outstanding hospitality. That said, there are areas that need improvement: the buffet service was poor despite the good food quality, towels were often unavailable at the pool areas, poolside service was understaffed, and room service took over an hour. The kids’ water park needs urgent maintenance, and there was a concerning electrical hazard near the drinks station. Overall, a resort with excellent potential and facilities, but with several service issues that need to be addressed to deliver the luxury experience it aims to provide.

The Man Franklin Grand Cana
Franklin was the best of getting us our best experience at the resort. Great service from his part. Book out reservations for dinner. And got us a group tour to Isla Saona.

Here now. Restaurants reservation system is horrible even with concierge. All you hear is sorry not available but when you go by the restaurant there are so many seats open.

Very nice experience
Great amenities. Beautiful grounds nice pool and pool chairs and beach chairs were always available. The rooms were excellent food and drink were good for an all-inclusive. Thank you too. Rohmen- best drinks, and Miriams fo4r good coffee and conversation. Wait times for dinner were good. Happy patrons. There was sargassam, so we didn’t go in the ocean, but the sand was nice and stretched far enough back where you can still enjoy the beach. Housekeeping was excellent.
