Wonderful Getaway
We loved our week of rest and relaxation in this beautiful resort. The people who worked there were so attentive, particularly Mariliea. The food was very good. Our favourite was Ericka’s jerk chicken by the pool. We hope to return very soon!

Not what website stated
Website needs to be updated. Website is what convinced us to stay there. No shuttle to casino next door. It’s in walking distance (10 min) but not for an 83 year old. Restaurants are only open on select days. One restaurant was not open at all during our two week stay. One wheelchair available for all guests. Rooms need updating. Staff couldn’t be friendlier. They made our stay enjoyable. Especially Darvin and Emily on the pool deck.

⭐ Breezes Bahamas Resort – A Disappointing Departure from Promises This was our fourth stay at Breezes, and while we’ve never come for the food (cheap buffet-style at best), we’ve always appreciated the pools, bars, activities and the 14+ age requirement—a key reason we chose it for our anniversary getaway. Unfortunately, that promise was broken. On day two, the resort accepted 100 unexpected guests, including young children and infants. Cue the crying babies, diapers in the pool, and chaos that completely undermined the adult-only atmosphere we paid for. When I questioned the front desk, I was told it was Bahamian law that they had to accept these guests. That was a lie. The Resort Manager later confirmed there’s no such law. The truth? The resort chose to accept a payout from the airline for “distressed flights,” prioritizing profit over their advertised policy. I called it a money grab, and I stand by that. To be clear—I don’t hate children. But we planned this trip to get away from them, and Breezes had always honored that. This time, they didn’t. The manager offered two free T-shirts and a refund for our next two nights. But nearby resorts require a three-night minimum, making that offer useless. I didn’t ask for compensation—I asked for what we were promised. When I asked to speak with Garfield, I was told I was the only one who had. That’s simply not true—it was a heated topic at the pool bar, where guests were visibly frustrated. Garfield, however, remained tucked away in his air-conditioned office, sending staff to mislead paying guests. I kept things professional, but he clearly didn’t appreciate being called out. This was our last stay at Breezes. We didn’t let one day ruin our trip—we made the conscious choice to enjoy ourselves. But broken promises deserve to be addressed and publicized. Learn from it. Move on. Farewell Breezes. Be Better.

Worst All-Inclusive Vacation Ever
We just got back, and sadly, I would never recommend Breezes to anyone. We knew to expect the resort to be older and not updated, and honestly, we were fine with that. It is pretty clean, the food was mostly pretty good, and the piano bar is nice. Those are really the only positives I have to share. The staff was NOT attentive. As a matter of fact, most were downright rude. From the moment we checked in, it was like none of the staff wanted to be there, and they certainly didn’t want to be doing their jobs. Customer service was nonexistent. Checking in? You might need to wait til the person at the front desk is finished with their busy work to even acknowledge your existence. And don't expect her to tell you ANYTHING about the resort-- nothing about the restaurants, pools, activities available, etc. Wanting a towel from the towel hut? You WILL get a nasty look. Want a cocktail at the bar? You’ll get it– EVENTUALLY 🙄– but when you do, it may not be what you ordered. Too bad though, you get what the bartender gives you 🤷♀️. One bartender was even sleeping behind the pool bar. You want to eat? You might have to wait until there is a restaurant open. There were times during the day when no food prep was available at all, and a la carte restaurants (there was only 1 open each night when we were there) will only seat you if you come at one of their 3 designated seating times (6, 7:30, and MAYBE 9, but no promises for the 9p.) You want filtered water? You have to buy it at the gift shop (luckily, they were only $2.50 each, but it’s absurd that you cannot get filtered water from the restaurants or bars). More than half of the loungers on the beach are broken— it was like lounger roulette to get one that we could actually sit on. The rooms have no full-length mirrors, nor mini fridges, which is annoying, but that's so minor compared to everything else. We were so disgusted with the experience that we left the property for the last 3 days, just to get away from Breezes and hopefully enjoy ourselves, including buying a Resort Pass to Baha Mar and paying for their food! Bottom line is that it was the horrid customer service that ruined it for us— we were made to feel like a burden when we asked for anything, even just directions! Sadly, this was the worst vacation we’ve ever been on, thanks to Breezes.
