I'd like to express my sincere gratitude and great appreciation to Donna for her very friendly and highly professional service. I tried to book trip to Aruba today and had problem to book it online. I called CheapCarribean and was lucky that Donna answered the phone. She went above and beyond to make my booking with CheapCarribean the most pleasant experience I ever had. Donna, thank you very much.

I just returned from my vacation. I can't tell you enough what a wonderful time I had and what a pleasant experience I had working with Cheap Caribbean! I was traveling to the Dominican Republic near the time of the Haiti earthquakes, and you were wonderful in putting my mind at ease. The Coral Costa Caribe Resort was better than I could have imagined, and I had a fantastic experience. Thanks again, and I have since inspired several co-workers and friends to book their next trip to the Dominican Republic through Cheap Caribbean! Sincerely, Melissa H.

NEVER EVER TRAVELED ON AN ALL-INCLUSIVE TRIP BEFORE... Usually travel with no reservations and have to rent car and fend for ourselfs. We went to Jamacia and stayed at the Grand Palladium. GREAT DEAL...We had a few catches (nothing to worry about) For example: we booked for the adult section of resort and when we arrived, they had no rooms there, so they put us on the other side of the resort. NO big deal, you had access to everything and walking distance was the same). The staff was great, the place is fairly new, just what I expected as far as room, beach, pool (great pool-a little on the chilly side-no fault of theirs-weather related) good food (after all, who goes to Jamacia for the food?) Plenty of everything you need and they want you back! Everybody pushes the "side trips" and hey, everybody has to make a living, we went to sit on the beach and eat, drink and relax. We would go back if we were offered a good deal (price!) and thought it's a good place to go with a few friends and relax!J. in Vermont

Although the hotel was beautiful, the service was below average. No one was ever remotely in a rush to provide additional towels, bottled water, or cocktails at the bar. The food was average as well.

We just got back from our trip to the Royal Suites Yucatan (Jan 18-25 2010). In a word, extraordinary!!! Our trip went without a hitch arriving-Thank you Caribbean Jim!!- on our private transport at the Royal Suites Lobby we were greeted by Tony, he gave us a very brief description of how things work and we were off to paradise. The first day, we walked around the resort to get a feel for the size and get our bearings so we understood approximate locations, that sort of thing. Holy cow did we walk! Went from our area to the Royal Suites beach areano joke this is a big resort! After we had our bearings, we changed our mode of operation and selected a less burdensome way to traveli.e. we used the golf carts! Our legs hurt! We would start our planning based on the breeze, it was quite strong a few days and if you went to the beach, you had to fight the barrage of sand particles if you went on a less breezy day, you could plan on an extraordinary beach with a stiff surf we had 1 day with yellow flag, the rest were red. Important to note, it is a long way from the suites to the Royal beach! I recommend taking a golf cart! But you be the judge. The Renova spa was to die for! We went every morning after breakfast. The infinity pool was cool during our stay but it was gorgeous. My favorite was the steam sauna-heavy steam mixed with eucalyptus and menthol provides a wonderful sensation and refreshes both your mind and spirit. Be sure to try the walking stones and the 2 hot tubs. These things are available for you to use without charge so enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! We ate Breakfast/Lunch: El Jardin- for breakfast it was scrumptious either the buffet or the menu. The food was tasty and the staff was wonderful! I couldnt get enough of the fresh squeezed orange juice!!!!!Kabah Buffet-for lunch a couple of times-food was very well presented and yummy!La Hacienda Buffet-for Lunch food was good ambience somewhat less but when you are hungry who cares?Royal Beach area-- they serve a wonderful cold Tuna/Turkey/Ham/ sandwich which were very cool and fresh tasting. How can you beat a cool sandwich on a hot day with your favorite beverage served to you????Royal Pool AreaThey serve the same wonderful sandwiches and the same ambience. Evening meals:Sumptori-Japanese show table --very good food, we sat at a show table, chef was good at his trade, you cannot go wrong here!Rodizio- Brazilian RestaurantVery good wonderful meats and sides we had a lovely experience. The roasted pineapple was delicious!Mare Nostrum-Mediterranean- Our favorite! Very few Americans seemed to eat there? Wonderful food very good house wine El Dorado- Steaks--This place was very good but packed- some people complained they stood in line for 20+ minutes just to get a beeper! I thought they were going to mob us as we bypassed the line and presented our reservation ticket and were immediately seated- a privilege of staying at the royal suites-very very helpful for making dinner arrangements. Room Service - nice selection of things to eat delivered promptly with impeccable service portions were plentiful.Bamboo- Chinese?Sushi was good, the food tasted good but I couldnt call it Chinese? This was our least favorite Minor issue 1our least favorite thing at the RSY, was the status of our Air conditioning in the Cabana. In a word limited the room would not cool down and we could not get the humidity to relent either. Since the Cabanas sit lower than the suites, the air flow from the breeze doesnt quite get to you, you open your patio door to get some breeze but it just doesnt come. This didnt seem to be an insulation issue or the units capability. Everything seemed to be in working order, my assumption is it was centrally set to provide minimal cooling capability. We did ask someone to look at it and they said it was operating as it should. Based on some other inputs, I think we should count this as a blessing,, "at least we needed air conditioning"! Minor Issue 2Time share distractions we were approached in each lobby by different folks trying to sell us the Club Palladium. We didnt go to the pitch and we were not interested. They are easy to get rid of if you simply are upfront with them. Our understanding is they try to sell you some sort of membership for ~13K US and they use the Royal Suites as an example of what it could be like if you. They had various ways to appeal to folks, promise free massages at the spa and/or $1000MXN and a variety of other attempts to lure you in to a sales pitch. I dont know if its a good deal or not I dont care either-it was a distraction and a minor issue. The Kantenah, Colonial, White Sands, and Rivera Lobbys are completely open . So we would go to one of them during the heat of the day and enjoy the breeze flowing through the lobby with a fresh drink and good book!! Ahhh heaven!!!Bottom Line: We had a fabulous time! The grounds were beautiful and the room was spectacular overall. We would gladly rebook the RSY and would recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing resort with a lot of things to do and see-you cannot go wrong with the RSY!

I traveled to Viva Wyndam Fortuna Beach Jan 11-16, 2010. We booked with Cheap Carribean (and so did everyone I talked to at this resort), with no problems. It was during a cold spell and temps got as low as 40 F at night. Although our room had heat, all of the common building were open air and we froze! The resort is rated 3 stars but I would give a 2. If you have ever gone to a 5 star I don't recommend this resort. The price is half of what you would pay for 5 stars but my time is worth the extra money. This is a week I'll never get back! The beach is beautiful(and the best part), the water was too cold to enter but I heard the snorkling was good. The food was absolutely terrible at all three options. The drinks were great and the bar tenders kept us warm with rum drinks of all flavors. Walk down the beach (to the right) about a quarter mile and stop in at the Margaritaville bar (has two dolphines in an arch leading to a deck overlooking the water)and order the conch fritters, talk to the locals and have a drink! The resort was completely booked when we were there, due to the great deal they were offering. The rest of the island is very depressed from the economic downturn and even the stores that were open had very little merchandize in them. This resort is owned by a Italian company and bought the Wyndam name a few years ago so Americans could identify positively with if but don't be fooled this is not a Wyndam hotel!I wish I had a dime for all the times I heard from other guests..."you get what you pay for", and it couldn't be more true.

My husband and I just returned from a great stay at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort in Jamaica. We were there 18-25 January 2010. I will admit, I was a bit skeptical upon our arrival at the airport. We had to wait about 30 minutes for another flight to arrive before our ground transportation (Tropical Tours) would take us to the resort. After another 45-60 minute drive to the resort, the lobby was packed full of arriving guests. They tried to "upgrade" us to a bungalow when we had upgraded and paid for a one bedroom suite. We asked if they could let us see the bungalow first before we decided to accept their upgrade and the answer was no. We asked for a description and it sounded like a hotel room with a whirlpool tub. No thanks. We had to wait about 3 hours for our suite. No problem - we found the sports bar, had a couple of refreshments and a burger and walked some of the resort. Our suite was very nice. A separate bedroom with a patio, a bathroom with a separate shower and a whirlpool tub and a living room with another patio. Both patios were surrounded with Azaleas and other beautiful trees and plants. The only thing negative I can say is the walls are THIN. It sounded like the people upstairs were constantly moving furniture around - even in the wee hours of the morning and the guests next door to us were definitely partying. Construction/maintenance definitely are not up to US standards. No complaints all-in-all. The food was good, the drinks were great, the staff was pleasant. Every evening, there was some sort of entertainment. We tried out most of the ala carte restaurants. They were OK - not great, but definitely OK. Heard some complaints around the resort from other guests (no clean beach towels, phone in the room didn't work, etc), but we had no complaints. It became a joke each day wondering what bathroom towels we would receive in our suite. Some days, we had 4 or 5 bath towels and one hand towel but no wash cloths and some days, we would have a single wash cloth but no hand towels or bath mat. But, when you have a resort that size (and it WAS BIG) with that many guests, I bet it can be a logistical nightmare AND you have to remember that you are in a third world country where their standard of living is does not exactly match our standards. Each day, we did have an Azalea left in our bathroom in a glass. Would I go back? Yes. The guest ratio was probably 80% Canadians and 20% US and other nationalities based on the folks that we met and spoke with. My husband and I both had massages at the Spa. It was good. Paid $67.00 per person for 50 minutes of massage. Took a trip into Negril to shop and visit Rick's Cafe to see the cliff divers. That was good. The sunset would have been great except for that darned cloud. In Negril at one of the scheduled stops, they wanted $3.50 for a Red Stripe Beer. WOW - a little pricey! Our Tour Guide told us where to find the best prices on Rum (paid $9.95 for a fifth of Captain Morgan). (No doubt, they were getting a kick back on the sales from that one merchant, but what the heck.) One suggestion - when you arrive, find out what excursions you may want to do and get the date that the trip/outing occurs and the price in order to do your planning and scheduling. Some of the excursions only take place on certain days of the week. If you are expecting a 5+ star resort at the Lady Hamilton, it is not. It is a 3-4 star resort based on US expectations. In Jamaica, they have a saying....they have two speeds, slow and stop (except for driving and then it is balls to the wall). People move rather slowly and you will not receive white glove service nor amenities. If you have been to Mexico before and enjoyed the type of service where you are waited on hand and foot, you will be disappointed. There could be more waiters, waitresses, bartenders and overall staff numbers at the resort. A $1.00 tip here and there and you did seem to enjoy a few more perks (drinks in the lounges seemed to get refilled more frequently). We however, enjoyed the trip thoroughly. It is what you make of it.

We had a great time during our recent trip to the Grand Palladium Jamaica. A fair warning: the place is HUGE, as essentially 2 adjacent resorts occupy the grounds. Either bring your comfortable walking shoes or be prepared to wait (a short amount of time) for the numerous golf cart-like vehicles shuttling people around. The pool is awesome (huge as well), the drinks are constantly flowing, and the spa is nice. As with all all-inclusive places, the food is decent, but not great. I'd recommend the Creole restaurant, as I had an excellent filet there. Rooms were pretty nice - I'd recommend a 1 bedroom suite, which was larger than our old Manhattan apartment! We found a good mix of Americans and international folks, young and old. I would definitely recommend a trip to the Grand Palladium Jamaica.

I highly recommend using Cheap Caribbean.com for travel to the Caribbean. We decided to go to the DR at the last minute. Cheap Caribbean was able to find a terrific all-inclusive deal in Puerto Plata at the Lifestyles Tropical Resort and Spa. The customer service before and on-the-ground at the resort was superb. I definitely will be using and referring people to Cheap Caribbean for future vacation get-aways.

My name is Joeleen Mandel and I recently traveled from Newark New Jersey to Mexico and stayed at the Valentin Imperial Maya. I do not even know where to begin. This resort is absolutely amazing!!!! I usually go to Sandals but my boyfriend and I decided to stay somewhere else because we just did not feel it was worth all the money we were paying and the food was less than decent. At the Valentin Imperial Maya the staff was just incredible, the food was the best I ever had and the atmosphere was almost too good too be true. I read the reveiws on this resort before I went and anyone who said anything negative must not have stayed at this resort! If you are thinking about staying at the Valentin Imperial Maya you must book it immediately, you will not regret it!

Jamaica is great and the resort, Grand Palladium met my expectations and beyond. Tons of great restaurants, good variety of choices, house wines not terrific, beaches were fabulous, Sailing every day, as part of the package was great!Linda

A+++++. My kids had an amazing time. Although the pool-side entertainment was not always appropiate for my 11 and 13 year olds, it was all in good fun. There was plenty of food, sun, and drinks. There was pool-side drink service, and the place was immaculate. The resort was GORGEOUS and the nightly entertainment AMAZING. We quickly made friends with the entertainment crew, and my kids enjoyed the nightly disco. The sports bar was fun too, as we viewed the playoffs between the Saints and the Vikings--the Saints won--as they did the Super Bowl last night!! Most of the guests were from Canada, but us New Yorkers got along well with our friendly neighbors. We were all trying to escape the bitter cold in the North, and the Royal Solaris in Los Cabos, Mexico, is the perfect place. Everyone else was a little bombarded by the resort's time-sharing encouraging, but being there without my husband gave me an easy escape. The beach has rough-sinking sand, so if you are like me and like a good jog on the beach, prepare yourself with sand sneakers, and plenty of water- the trek is hard! The view, however, is gorgeous. The area was very safe, and about 20 minutes away from the popular young marina area of Cabo San Lucas. There are great malls there and in Los Cabos, and plenty of activities to do. All in all, its a wonderful place. Enjoyed it immensely.

We just had a great trip to Los Cabos through Cheap Caribbean .com, this is our third trip we have booked through them and They are the best, we have recommended them to all our friends. We spent Rick's 50th birthday at the El Presidente and soome of our neighbors booked the trip with us after finding out what a great deal we had. The resort was absolutely beautiful, the service was outstanding. We had asked for a room with a safe and the room we got did not have one, no problem the moved us to and ocean front room with a great view and a safe, we were thrilled!!!! The bartenders made sure the boys had a great time, they were on a mission to drink the whole bar, they started with one liquor and moved down the line, Alfredo the bartender kept track of where they left off one day so they knew where to pick up the next, us girls pretended like we did not know them, so we all had a great time. Of course the boys knew everyone at the resort seeing as they never left the bar areas, they even had Alfredos sister bring cheeseburgers to the pool bar!!!!!! Now are neighbors are like where are we gooing next, I said I don't know let me check out cheap caribbean and pick!

We appreciate your travel tips. However, we need to talk with your agent come Monday, as the hotel resort we're booked in is presenting some recent very unfavorable reports and we do not want to stay there. So, we do hope CheapCaribbean is going to be helpful and find us another resort at around the same price and same travel time. We want to make this a positive experience and celebrate our 30th wed anniv. Thanks in advance,Suzanne F.

I would highly recommend Sunset Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios. My husband and I fully enjoyed our vacation there. The room was great. The staff was superb. They were very friendly and accommodating. Let's not forget the food and drinks. Great! My husband was looking for a place to relax. Get away from the hustle and bustle. We found it there. When we chose to get involved and rustle it up. We did just that. But when we just wanted to be along and lie on the beach and listen to music or read we could. At night to listen to the ocean waves and appreciate the stars. We had a wonderful vacation. Can't wait to go back.Shirley

We had a great time in Aruba, and it was our first time booking with cheap caribbean. com. Everything was so easy, just a click of the mouse on our choices. We especially liked the dine around p rogram-well worth it! Printing out our vouchers at home was great! Wish we were still there!
02/07/2010
We had a great time at Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda! This was our first time using Cheap Carribean and I was a bit reticent about booking a resort from online pictures, but it was everything we expected and then some. No shortage of food or drink, friendly and accommodating staff, and beautiful property. And when I told friends how much we spent, they thought that I was quoting individual prices and not the cost for two of us. Pam and Mark F., IL.

I reccomend the El Cozumeleno in Cozumel. Great resort, good food and drink. The weather was excellent and the only downside was the mattress was harder than any on an offshore drilling rig.....overall a great experience and I would definatley stay again....

We recently returned from a wonderful 7 night stay at the Whyndam Viva Dominicus Beach resort in The D.R. Our accommodation was a large room with a spacious balcony over looking the lovely sandy beach and the beautiful blue and clear waters of the Caribbean. The food at this all-inclusive resort was of high quality, varied and plentiful.

Dear Cheapcaribbean,We had a great time in Los Cabos. The whole vacation went off without a hitch, from the flights and transfers to the resort with fantastic weather. We didn't need to use our 100 SPF insurance because the weather was perfect, but it was nice to know it was there. Keep up the good work.Laurie N.
02/07/2010
We had a great time in Puerto Plata, D.R. The grounds, the scenery, the accommodations, the friendliness of all the help was astounding. The buffet selections were very good. In fact, all my meals were here. Just loved the layout of the pool stretching throughout the resort with plenty of lounge chairs throughout. Would definitely recommend this resort, plus the price was well worth it. Was not aware of all the activities....when checking in, the front desk should advise and hand out an activity list. Helen G.

This was my second time booking with cheapcaribbean and again, it was easy and secure! It was so simple to book our flights, hotel and even some activities through their website. I did have to call in to get some help booking for several people, and the customer service rep was so sweet and helpful. Thank you, cheapcaribbean, for making my 30th birthday trip FANTASTIC! Meghan G., NV
02/06/2010
Our trip was great! Flights & transfer were well organized and timely. The service at the resort was wonderful, especially at the restaurants, bars and pool area waiters were excellent. Room was very comfortable and clean and quite! Beds were very comfortable, best we've had in Mexico. The selection of restaurants and food quality was the best we have ever had. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone.Patty & Gary B.

Everything went off without a hitch. The RIU at Paradise Island has been improved with new Decor and Baths. They now have room service and everyone was so helpful and gracious. Great Location, Beautiful Beach and right next door to the Atlantis for the Casino. This is our 2nd time there and we had a wonderful time.

We stayed at the Excellence Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic from 1/14/10-1/24/10. We did enjoy our stay, but would not return. We stayed at the Majestic Colonial a few years ago, and like that better. At Excellence we didn't like standing in line for dinner, we missed dinner buffets, and the service seemed quite slow. Other than that, the rooms were very nice and the resort well-kept, but that's in most places that are 4 or 5 star resorts. Excellence definitely didn't have staff who enjoyed smiling! And they speak VERY poor English. It's a 5-star resort, but we would give it a 2-star for customer service.
02/06/2010
We had oa Great trip. Everything was exactly as the e-mails said and we had no problems. Brenda

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree 1/19-26/10 in Aruba. Weather was fine and it was windy as expected but not too windy and, in fact, the wind helped keep the hot temperatures pleasant. Would definitely visit Aruba again but would not stay at the Holiday Inn. The evening buffet had limited choices and the food was not very hot. Only one of the two speciality restaurants was open at a time. The meat for pork medallions in the Italian restaurant was a slab of pork consisting mostly of fat and gristle. To get a restaurant reservation one had to wait in line at 8:00 am and to get a tiki hut on the beach you had to make a reservation at 7:00-7:30 am. The evening entertainment was mostly geared to children around the pool and the advertised big screen for the NFL playoffs was non-existent. The adult bar/disco was not open as advertised from 9:00pm but it was open a couple of times early in the evening for children. Children used the adult pool on occasions. I suppose the Holiday Inn was geared to families with young children. The Holiday Inn was in a good location in the middle of the hotel strip. The organization for this trip by Cheap Caribbean was good although the representative did not know much about the Holiday Inn. Would use Cheap Caribbean again for a trip to the Caribbean.

Viva Wyndham fortuna beach, Grand Bahamas: Dear traveler, I read both good and bad reviews of this spot before I went and I personally would recommend this hotel and the all inclusive if what you want is to relax and have a good time. My wife and I went for our 25th wedding anniversary and we loved it. The food was good and varied a bit but I think the could shift the menu a bit to break the monotony. The quality of the food was great. We ate 3 meals a day. The beach is great and not crowded with plenty of shade for us folks that have to seek it. We had fun shopping at the Port Lucia market place and my wife got her hair done there. WE could have done lots more activities but we were actually there to rest and decompress from our jobs. The room was great and every morning we would wake up and listen to the surf and watch the sunrise. I highly recommend this spot for total relaxation.

I have never traveled outside the United States before and was a little nervous. But Cheapcarribbean.com made it so easy that I am ready to do it all over again. From the plane trip to the hotel and then back to the airport our trip adviser was right on top of our needs. We stayed 7 days at Temptation Resort & Spa in Los Cabos. Let me just say if your looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway this is the place to go.

We were at the Sunset Grande in Ocio Rios. While it did rain, we had a wonderful time! The resort was great and fun! The beach was gorgeous and the people were awesome. Cara

Hello! I returned from Juan Dolio about a week ago and let me tell you how awesome it was! The staff at the resort was beyond INCREDIBLE! They continuously had us actively moving and participating in activities. During the day they had games, aerobics, and music playing. At night, they had a beach party, nightly shows. The servers and waitstaff were so awesome! They were extremely friendly and I was happy I chose to stay at this resort. The bartenders had no problem helping you out, either! The beach was beautiful and you could take a nice long walk if you wanted to. I will definitely return again!!!Sincerely, Jamie

This was our second trip through CheapCaribbean, and it was absolute great! What a bargain! There is no more reasonable way to go than through them. We spend 7 nights in St. Lucia at the Almond Morgan Bay all inclusive resort. Great food, sailing/waterskiing every day, beautiful grounds and great workers, polite and very helpful. There is no better way to go than CheapCaribbean! Worry free reservations, no flight problems. Denise M.
02/04/2010
Once again CheapCaribbean made our annual vacation a winner. All of our travel potential nightmares were minimized because you organized all of the arrangements in a very neat and understandable manner. When we talked to other guests at the resort, we told them about your company and they were amazed at not only the price we received, but how easy it was to use your expertise. I have no doubt they will be checking you out before they book their next vacation. EE

We spent a week at the Excellence Playa Mujeres resort in Cancun that we scheduled through CheapCaribbean.com and we absolutely loved it. We were taken care of by CheapCaribbean reps from the time we got our bags at the airport throughout the week with a rep on duty all day every day at the resort. The resort is fantastic! The resort staff were fantastic! I will return every year.

We visited the DR in January 2010 and stayed at the Iberostar Bavaro, Punta Cana. This resort is one of the best. Everything was extremely clean and well run. All the staff were very pleasant. The room was beautiful and well kept. The pool and beach was awesome and the food was very good and plentiful. We absolutely loved it!

. On January 14-23, 2010, we traveled to Punta Cana and stayed at the Royal Catalonia. We have booked through Cheap Caribbean the last few times we have traveled to the Dominican Republic and we have never had any problems. The last two times, we have called and booked by phone and were extremely satisfied with their service. Our stay at the Catalonia Royal was great. Excellent food and service, no complaints whatsoever (well I guess they could have cooked the bacon a little longer). We will continue to use Cheap Caribbean for our caribbean travel needs. Chris R.

Our experience with cheapcaribbean.com to Jamacia was with no problems and everything they promised was received. Would definetly book with them again.

Just returned from our SECOND 10 day vacation (in the past two months!) in the Dominican Republic. We had such a great time on our ladies only trip at the Oasis Canoa in December that we rebooked for another getaway for January and this time I brought my fiance and we stayed at the Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach. What a mistake! The minute we stepped into the lobby we felt it was a hostile atmosphere. We were exhausted from our long overnight trip from Seattle, but noone offered to take our bags or show any form of hospitality. So we got in line and waited....and waited......and waited. It took over 30 minutes for the desk clerk to acknowlege me and check us into our rooms. Part of the problem was that the Italian guests staying there would constantly cut in line to speak with them. The clerks would not tell them to get to the back of the line. This was a reoccurring theme thoughout the stay. People would be lined up at the buffet and Italians would cut in front of the line, take their food and leave. Several days into the trip we realized that Italian tour groups make up 95% of the clientel of the Wyndham. The other half of the front desk problem was the lack of customer service. Most employees spoke little English and preferred to speak with Italian guests. My fiance is African American and hotel security at the front gate was very pleasant to us but at the side entrance treated him poorly, denying him entrance although he was wearing the purple bracelet, as if he was trying to sneak in to the property. Italians would assume he was a hotel employee and others would actually stare at us while having breakfast in the dining hall. However there were more than a handful of employees that made us feel welcome and always greeted us with a smile. We got extra special service from Mildred in the dining room, Hamilton and Sean Carlos at the bar, Jose at the front desk and Picasso who was everywhere! But I do have to admit that the animation team at the Oasis Canoa beat the Wyndham HANDS DOWN!!! I was surprised that there were very few chairs at each of the pool areas at the Wyndham. The pool at the Oasis Canoa was always hopping and the swim up bar was party central. However the beach at the Wyndham was incredible and the buffet food was actually pretty good and had a nice selection although at times it was difficult to find an open table. Another issue was the extremely loud music that played past midnight. It vibrated our room and we were situated about 100 yards away. One more thing, Guest Services at the Wyndham assured us that we were allowed to dine at buffet at the sister Wyndham Palace next door. I was told this same information by Wyndham Reservations and by Cheap Caribbean. Not true!!!! Only Palace guests can dine at the Beach but Beach guests cannot dine at the Palace and the front desk and restaurant team was very firm about that. Despite all of the above our family (my fiance, daughter, sister and myself along with two local friends) had a great time. I don't think I would ever go back again, unless it was to visit one of our friends. However I would not hesitate to use Cheap Caribbean. Best regards, Irene W.

Travel dates: July 31- August 7, 2009Occidental Grand CozumelGreetings,My wife and I took a belated honeymoon from July 31-August 7, 2009 to Cozumel, Mexico using CheapCaribbean.com. This was because we were married in December 2008 in Riviera Maya, Mexico with 17 other people present for the occasion and not much alone time! We were able to take the trip before we both started school, and because we had sold my bachelor pad and used some of the equity. We chose to use Apple Vacations for our wedding trip, because both of us had used them separately in the past with relatively good results. We figured that they would be there for us if we ran into any problems. Boy were we wrong! Without going into detail, we were very disappointed with how they handled some problems with our wedding trip, especially since we had 19 people total spending thousands of dollars, and we vowed to never use them again. That is when I decided to use CheapCarribean for our honeymoon trip.We had an excellent vacation! Our entire summer in Wisconsin was cool except for about three days, and I kept joking that we had to go to Mexico to enjoy summer! The Occidental Grand was beautiful, and all of the employees were very friendly. Upon arrival, we could only get a room with two double beds. We had to try for a few days to switch to one with a king bed. I mentioned that we were honeymooning, to try to sway them to try harder to switch our room. Someone must have remembered that we mentioned our honeymoon, because one evening there was champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries waiting for us in our room! This was typically an extra charge, which we did not pay for, but someone sent it to us. It was a very thoughtful gesture. We purchased the roundtrip airport transfer through your company. Olympic Tours was your partner that provided us this service. Carlos, our Olympic representative at the Occidental Grand Cozumel resort was outstanding! I had stayed for a week on Coz back in 2001, and our wedding party took a day trip over in Dec. 2008, so I was somewhat familiar with Coz already. Carlos sat down with my wife and I for at least a half hour and he was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and really helped us out.We rented a car for two days, which we actually got for two and a half days. We went to downtown San Miguel a few times to shop. Unfortunately, it was storming Sunday night. I had hoped to show my wife the plaza. In 2001, it was a great cultural experience to see the locals come out to celebrate. I remember music, dancing, and little girls dressed in colorful, traditional dresses. We toured the east side of the island and also saw Chankanaab Park, Punta Sur Park, and the San Gervasio ruins. We stopped at a few beach clubs, and snorkeled from shore at one. We also went on a snorkel boat trip.We spent plenty of time at the resort underneath a palapa. The weather was hot and I loved it! If we got too hot, we would just wade into the Caribbean for a little while. One day it did rain for a few hours, but that is not enough to ruin my vacation and I did not try to get money back using your sunshine guarantee. As an interesting side note, when it rained on that particular day, we saw a water spout and got pictures!I have already encouraged friends and family to use CheapCaribbean.com (and to avoid Apple Vacations). We had a wonderful time and everything was flawless. We definitely look forward to using your services again in the future.Sincerely,Tim P.,WI

12/26 - 31/2009La Bahia Principe - La Romana - Dominican RepublicPositiveGrounds were immaculate. They were absolutely on top of landscaping, cleaning, etc. to keep this place ever-improving.Pool was warm and clean. The views were great.Rooms were clean and the staff stayed on top of towels, drinks in the room, etc.Staff was like a good waiter/waitress - they grabbed your drinks and empties often without us noticingFlights were direct and even though the flight there landed a bit late, Turinter Tours was still ready and waiting to whisk us away.Room service came pretty quickly. The VIP couples massage was as good as any we've had anywhere else!Could Be ImprovedBed was not comfortable - a bit unexpected. They speak or at least act like they speak VERY little English. This should not be acceptable having been open for so long.Every day the line to speak to the concierge was over 1 hour long. Fortunately we were pre-booked for 3 of 4 nights for a la carte restaurant dining. The other night was simply not worth sitting in the line for so long to find out that the limited seating for the a la carte dining was booked up.TVs were tiny and had only 2-3 English-speaking channels. - not a biggie but worth knowing.2 of 3 of us got sick to our stomachs...and no it wasn't from drinking too much as we weren't even well enough for that.Concerns with CheapCaribbean's RepresentationRequested a room with 2 queens but was told they did not even have that option - our daughter slept on the mattress from a cot that we put on top of the very very uncomfy single day bed - (However, they were at least nice enough to set this up for us at 1 AM upon our arrival). (Probably a concern of ours with CheapCaribbean's representation more than the resorts.)We thought we paid for the upgrade on the room (which indeed had an ocean view as promised). With the upgrade, we expected to have access to the lounge with the Internet access. Upon attempting to use this lounge, we were treated rudely and told it was only for those with a golden bracelet and we were told to go to the other end of the resort where we were asked to pay for internet access. This was extremely off-putting.Thanks for considering and for any/all response here.Greg John P.

Went to Riviera Maya Mexico and stayed at the Blu Bay. No complaints whatsoever (this includes the not so great weather)! Great people, unbelievable food, and tons of stuff to do. The staff is excellent! If your looking for a great time my girlfriend and I highly recommend it!Mike R., NJ

We recently booked a trip through cheapcarribean to the Dominican Republic. We stayed at Lifestyle Beach & Resort and it was absolutely beautiful. We got a great deal on a VIP package which meant free wait service, comfy beach cabanas and great drinks! We also got $50 of our vacation because we were repeat customers. We've booked our last three vacations through cheapcarribean at superlow prices and I'm sure we will book again! - Elizabeth K

We spent 7 days between Jan 13th - 19th in Barcelo Bavaro in Punta Cana. Our experience there was very good. When we arrived at the resort the waiting time for the rooms was short compared to the other resorts we've gone to in Dominican Rep. The resort was very nice, had a beautiful beach, there was a lot of variation of food and the best thing is that we did not need any reservation for any restaurant. Because there are four resorts combined there are plenty of more activities available. The room in the Palace was a good size but they need some updates in the room. We recommend the show that was in the Casino. Because of our very nice experience there we are probably going to celebrate my daughters wedding in that resort. We defenetly recommend this resort, and our experience booked with Cheapcaribbean.com. Overall the vacation was great.

Dear Cheap Caribbean, My family had a wonderful vacation the week of Januay 12, 2010. Our vacation was a success due to a lot of hard work and changes made by the caring people at Cheap Caribbean! I would to pass on kudos to my wonderful booking agent, Ann Linquist and my great help desk agent, Trixie Pentex(sp?). Due to a family crisis that happened just two weeks before our trip, we had to drop first one person and then as it spiraled out of control a second person and finally drop a room and rearrange occupancy from the original booking. I first contacted Ann and explained the situation only to find out that she couldn't actually make the changes. Ann was good enough to then not only pass to just a great person at the help desk, but also followed the changes and kept in touch with me. Trixie then took over and made all the necessary changes and trust me I kept her busy. Trixie was always patient and caring and worked hard to make sure that everyything would go smoothly for us even with all the last minute changes. Trixie even went above and beyond by explaining what my family had been going through to the hotel and request a room upgrade for us! I just wanted to give these people that were so helpful and caring to me the recognition they deserve and I hope they see this! Ann and Trixie, thanks from whole family for all you did and the kindness you showed to us! Now on to the vacation! It couldn't have been better. Our stay was at the Grand Oasis Cancun and we were a little concerned because of some of the reviews we read. No need, it was great. We were upgraded to the newest building called the Tower. Our rooms were great with a nice view of the pools and Caribbean. The living lobby was just amazing as was our favorite restaurant, Sarape. The staff was polite and accommodating, the pool bars were great fun although it was a little chilly, the shows were entertaining, the food was good and the vacation was great for all of us, What more could anyone ask for. Thanks for another great vacation Cheap Caribbean and I hope to booking another soon. Debbie A., MD

We booked a 5 night January 14-19, 2010 package Mexicana Air/Iberostar Parisio Lindo (Rivera Maya), which was beyond our expectations! Mexicana Airlines was very impressive, efficient, clean, nice meal both ways and no luggage charge.Their service is relatively new to the the Washington Dulles airport, so their ticket counter location is not on the Dulles airport website.Glad I called the airport ahead of time & they weren't even sure. They called back to advise it is on the back side of the British Airways counter. When we arrived in Cancun (remember they are 1 hour ahead) we got processed very expeditously thru Mexican customs, no lineups. Then we were greeted by a gentlemen dressed in white, who took us to a stall and started talking about tourist activities. After about 5 minutes, we realized he was trying to sell us a timeshare and left.Outside the airport it is very busy, lots of shuttles and people trying to take your bags for you. One of these bag handlers lead us to the Olympic tours area. Then we were lead to another holding area and after about 15 minutes with 7 other people we were crammed into a van .Not sure how they got all the luggage in. It took about 30 minutes to get to the Iberostar, as passengers were dropped off at other resorts along the way. It was actually interesting to see some of the other resorts. Check-in at the Iberostar was quick & easy, no lines. We arrived around 12 noon, check-in isn't until 3:00pm, but they had a room available for us.While someone took our bags to our room, we met with the concierge for our building (No. 53) and booked our restauraunt selections and meal times for each night. With the Lindo we were entitled to specialty restauraunt meals each night. Heard that some of the other hotels in the resort ie. Del Mar, you were only allowed one or two specialty restaurant. The room was clean and once we put the ceiling fan on the temperature was very comfortable (there is A/C but the thermostat is not adjustable). The fridge was restocked daily, we mostly drank bottled water and left a $5 tip for the week. The resort itself includes 4 hotels each with their own pools: Parisio Lindo, Del Mar, Maya & Grand (very upscale-you have to walk around it) as well as a small shopping complex. Everything is within a 5 minute walk. The grounds were immaculately maintained. lots of beautiful vegetation. We had the buffet breakfast and lunch each day, there was always lots of selection and good quality food. The desserts were sooooo good. The evening meals were great, we went to Seafood, Italian, French, Japanese and Cajun. Never a lineup and on several occasions we arrived early and were immediately seated and served. The beach is only a 5 minute walk and is very well maintained as well. You can walk for miles to the south but not far to the north (seawall). We saw lots of iguanas sunbathing on the rocks. The sand is soft & easy to walk on. The ocean was very warm and the waves were great for body surfing. There is a bar and fast food hut (hotdogs, notchos & burgers) right on the beach -all part of the all inclusive. The lazy river and pool were great. Some people thought the water temperature was too cold but after a few seconds of swimming you didn't even think about it. The towel service was also a nice perk. The pool bar was great, as was the ice cream shop, On my birthday (61) after a couple of margueritas, I even built up the courage to go ParaSailing. Checkout is at 12 noon but since our flight wasn't until 6:30 pm, we got extended checkout $10/hour and got a whole extra day on the beach. The Olympic tour bus arrived on time and got us to the airport in a very timely manner. Much nicer vehicle than the one we had on the way down. One day we took the hotel shuttle (small fee) to Playa del Carmen and then the ferry to Cozumel, rented a car and drove around the island for a couple of hours. 10th st. in Playa del Carmen is very entertaining, pedestrian mall with lots of shops. Rather than wait for the hotel shuttle, we took a taxi back ($22.00 US) This was our first time to Mexico and also to an all-inclusive resort and we were very impressed. The Iberostar is a first class resort, the staff were very friendly & accommodating. Thank you Cheap Carribbean, we definitely intend to book another trip with you. In fact, I am looking now for a good deal March break . Randy Sterling, VA

Once again, Cheapcaribbean.com worked well as expected. This time we went to Oasis Canoa near Bayahibe, Dominican Republic. The ride from Santo Domingo was a bit long in the dark but the return was great during the day as we could get a sense of the countryside. When we arrived at the resort I got the feeling that the receptionist did not have a record of our reservation but he never said as much. He gave us an upgraded room closer to the beach. We arrived close to midnight and were pleased to find a decent 24x7 buffet open. The rooms at the resort are nothing special but the grounds, beach and other public areas are great. The three specialty restaurants were all good, contrary to other resorts we have visited. We took a nice half-day cruise to Catalina Island and found two good snorkeling sites. On the ride back we hugged the shore and saw Campo del Casa, the Bayahibe harbor and some awesome houses along the coast. We had hoped to check out the nearby casino but never could get the bus schedule right. Probably best as the place looks pretty seedy in the daylight. We we in DR right after the Haiti earthquake but experienced no problems. The vast majority of guests spoke were either French or Italian speaking. But the staff were nearly all multi-lingual. It rained a couple of days and, as promised, cheapcaribbean.com gave us a $100 certificate for our next trip. If you need to talk to a cheapcaribbean.com service rep on the phone I hope you get Amanda. She has helped us on our last two trips and has also helped other family members. She knows the indise scoop on many of the resorts and also knows know to work the system to get you the best deal. Bill C.

I traveled with my spouse and 2 other couples to NH Royal Beach in Punta Cana Dominican Republic. We were scheduled to leave the morning after the earthquake in Haiti. I was worried that the trip may be cancelled or delayed so I called the 1-800 number for Cheapcaribbean.com. The representative was friendly and attentive. She assured me that all the travel plans were still on and with no scheduled interruptions. We left the next day and experienced no problems throughout the trip. In fact, it was one of our most enjoyable trips ever! Thank you Cheap Caribbean for a wonderful, stress-free vacation. Sarah D.

Hello, We loved our vacation! We booked at the Oasis Spa and Palm Beach Hotel, but got upgraded to the Grand Oasis Caribbean Hotel. We recommend doing that. The Oasis Spa and Palm Beach was a far lower quality than its next door neighbor hotel. The food at the Grand Caribbean was AMAZING! The service was excellent! The rooms (especially the bathrooms!) were spotless! The only complaint was that we bought 24 hours of internet service that never worked, yet they tried very hard to charge us for it anyway. Thank you,Rosemarie K. & Marguerite M.

I would like to say that this was my first time booking a trip on my own and I have nothing but amazing things to say about Cheapcaribbean.com. Right from the beginning I was totally amazed at how easy this was and how many choices I had and the fabulous pricing. I could choose from multiple resorts, various flights and any travel dates. I was able to fly my airline, book on the resort I wanted and go when I wanted with no problems! All my documents were emailed to me and even called the 1800 number to ask a few questions and was greeted by a very cheerful helpful customer service rep. Two weeks before my trip I was sent a nice email reminding me of all the items I would need for my trip. The night before I was able to check in an print my boarding passes and I was set to jet! We had an amazing trip and I have recommended cheapcaribbean to EVERYONE since. OH and the one little part I forgot to mention, I booked the same trip my travel agent tried to book... except I booked it for $1000 cheaper!!!! I love cheapcaribbean!!!Jennifer T.

My husband and I needed to get out of the frigid Pennsylvania winter weather, so we booked a 5 day/4night getaway (January 16th-20th, 2010) to Nassau, Bahamas through CheapCaribbean.com. We had the most fantastic few days in the warm sunshine enjoying the blue skies and brilliant azure water. The daytime temps were in the high 70's (beats 20 degrees in Pennsylvania) and nightime temps were in the high 50's (needed a sweater or sweatshirt). We stayed at the Sheraton Beach Resort at Cable Beach west of Nassau. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and each room had a great view of the ocean. We were able to watch the cruise ships coming and going from Nassau daily. We were about 8 miles from downtown Nassau but that was "no problem, mon" because we were able to catch the #10 bus right outside of the hotel for $1.25 each way. They were running from morning to 7 pm at night. While in Nassau, you must visit the Straw Market where you need to barter the vendors ( Bahamian women and children) for their wares. I found out that if you stick to your price and walk away if they don't agree, the vendor will sometimes come after you with a lower price. I also found out that some of the stores in town were selling some of the same things as the vendors for a lower price. It pays to look in the store first before heading to the Straw Market. Another tip is to get to the Straw Market early because it can get very warm inside due to lack of ventilation and you can beat the cruise ship crowds. Another thing to do in town is to shop for jewelry because it is duty free and you can get some great bargains. Check in your hotel for discount coupons. A visit to Paradise Island and the Casino is a must on the "To Do" list. Be sure to take the water taxi from downtown ($3.00 one way - stops running at 6pm) because a taxi was $20 but you can barter a price if you needed. The only problem with not staying at Paradise Island is that if you wanted to see any of the sites (like The Dig and the Aquarium, etc.) you were charged a fee of $35 for a half day visit. If you have the time, it is worth it. We, also, wanted to see some other islands during our visit so we booked a catamarran ride to Rose Island on the Flying Cloud. It was a wonderful party atmosphere passing the really expensive homes of Paradise Island (one of which was Oprah Winfrey's) and passing other beautiful islands to get to Rose Island. We were left off on this deserted island with its great expanse of white powdery beach and palm trees. We were allowed to explore the island, lay on the beach and/or swim in the ocean for about an hour while some of the other passengers went further on to snorkel. The friendly staff of the Flying Cloud made the trip very memorable with their stories of their life in the Bahamas. It was a great way to end our vacation. It was really tough getting back to winter weather in PA.

We had a great time on vacation! The only thing that wasn't so great was the food. We found that the restaurants and the food at the VIP beach were much better than the buffet food. We went to Ocean World and had a great time there. The Sunday Night party is also worth going for because the food and drinks are much better!!
02/02/2010
We had a great time on vacation. Accomodations were wonderful, bright and airy with a beautiful view of lagoon. Room service was a nice addition with beverages always on hand and wait staff available upon request. Food was one of the best parts and we are skinny people. The selection and freshness were above par. Some slight drawbacks but for the value of the vacation, they were something we could deal with. Pool bar/grill was a big problem as it seemed the resort was understaffed in this area, as well as lines for restaurants. Facilities clean, staff friendly and helpful, activities fun, although island music at the main hotel would be a plus. We also went to another property, great addition to our package, that we had variety, Grand Oasis was also beautiful, same issue with food service but beach view made up the difference. Crystal blue, green, and wide. Shout out to Cancun Express for getting us to the hotel and airport promptly and cheap. Melissa H.

We stayed at Rui Ocho Rios Jamaica for five nights. It's comparatively new hotel in Ocho Rios, and it has been designed with fun and entertainment for all in mind! Our rooms were as reserved - ocean front - what a fantastic view. Great evening shows and great food (specially afternoon chicken at the beach) two of my favorites. Of course, at RUI, the quality of the room & amenities were very good, along with the restaurants, however it was difficult to make reservation to nicer restaurants-they were all booked before 9 O'clock. The staff were very pleasant and went extra mile to earn Guest's satisfaction. Personally I think, they had more staff than any hotel/resort business in North America can afford to be profitable. Overall - Very enjoyable and will look forward to book through Cheapcaribbean for future trips. Thanks RajD

The vacation was great!! I had a very nice time. The resort was a fun place. The staff was wonderful, the food was good, rooms were clean and the entertainment was enjoyable. Don't miss the welcome party on Sunday night!!! Say hello to Pedro (the friendliest bartender in the world) and to Jeremiah and Jonathon two of my favorites from the hardworking animation team.

I was looking to book a vacation to St. Lucia this year. I was just about to book with Expedia like normal when my wife told me to check Cheap Caribbean first. The same vacation was almost $600.00 cheaper with your company. I sat at my desk and searched for the "fine print" that was going to reveal why the was such big price difference. After an hour of searching for the reason and comming up with nothing I decided to book with Cheap Caribbean. I was still waiting for a problem at the ariport or the resort, yet nothing happened, no problems at all. We had a great time, the resort was a great value and the entire trip went smooth from start to finish. I have told several people about this site and the great deal we got on our vacation. Almond Smugglers Cove is a great place to stay. The beach cove is awesome, private (no cruise ships) and the resort is great. It's very well landscaped, the food is good, and the rooms are clean. Food is not always available so eat till your full at your meal time or you may be hungry later. This is a great value and a great place to chill out. Thanks for saving us so much cash on our vacation this year! I will definately book with you next year.Mike & Jennifer

We just returned from a 9 night stay at this resort and we had a fabulous time! The beach here is PERFECT! Crystal clear water, soft, powdery sand, and lots of activities available all combined to make this a fantastic vacation that we enjoyed immensely. We stayed in the Bimini Building and were literally 10 steps from the sand and water. We played in the water, tried our hands at archery, soaked in the hot tub, rode bicycles everyday, made lots of new friends from all over the world, and on and on. We would definitely recommend this resort to others! Karen B.

Traveled to the Riviera Maya last month and stayed at the all inclusive Excellence Riviera Cancun, just 20 minutes south of the airport. The amenities were excellent, nightly theater, live music performances, spacious and comfortable rooms, pools and beach areas. The staff was gracious and highly service oriented. The beverages and meals were often excellent, and usually very good. The resort provided water sport options and multiple pools, although we found the pool water temperature to be chilly in January. Only the pool in the Club was heated. Tour arranged through Olympus to Chichen Itza was very good. Guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We will go back.GF, Queens, NY--Gretchen F.

Our trip to Couples Negril was incredible, to say the least. The scenery was amazing and the staff/hotel were great. The complimentary catamaran ride was a highlight with the sunset behind us and visits to a set of caves along the coast line, with swimming (and sliding off the boat!) in the wide open sea. We also used the kayak at the hotel most days and had a blast exploring the Bloody Bay in which the hotel is located and immediately nearby areas. The food was good, lots of vegetarian options. The drinks took some getting used to as they were quite strong, but the variety and quality was amazing. Highly recommended!

Hi!I just came back from a WONDERFUL vacation in Port Lucaya, Bahamas and I just wanted to say thank you so much to cheapcaribbean.com! The hotel we stayed in was great! The beach was beautiful! And whenever I had a question, I called cheapcaribbean, and the customer service representatives were some of the friendliest and caring people I have ever spoken to! They are really there to help, and are really concerned for what's in the best interest of the customer.Thank you!Shoshana C.

I wanted to send you email to say Thank You My husband and I just returned from 6 day/5 night stay in Jamaica that we book through you site just a few weeks ago. My husband just returned home from a year long tour of duty in Iraq and it was a last minute decision for us to go away. Your site made finding a place and booking a place so easy. We had a wonderful time and I really must say our travel arrangements could not have been easier or more enjoyable. It was the first time I had traveled without having any type of hassle/mixup with my reservation. We stayed at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort in Montego Bay. This hotel was beautiful and had everything you could ever want or need on vacation. We did have some issues with the hotel. These problems were addressed but I felt you should also be made aware of them. First, it took over 2.5 hours for us to check into our room. We arrived at 3:15pm at the hotel and was told our room was not ready. It was not until 5:45pm that we were told our room was ready. It was not until we got into our room that we realized our room was not ready due to it not being cleaned after another guest but that they were still finishing up the building as it was new. The room was very spacious and very beautiful. However, when we went to use the whirlpool tub in the room it did not work. Not that big of deal, as we figured we would take a shower and just report the tub to the guest relations on our way to dinner. However, when we opened the shower door, we were shocked to find no shower head. We called the front desk and reported both problems. It took them over an hour to send a maintenance man. He was able to fix the shower within in minutes however, it took them 3 days and countless phone calls and numerous visits to the front desk and being told it would be taken care within the next couple hours but only to find they hadnt done a thing about fixing it. It was not until Friday afternoon, did we receive a call from a supervisor that we were being moved to another room. They actually upgraded us to one of their bungalow room on the beach. It was gorgeous room and after all the hassle with the tub, it was very nice. Again, I just wanted to let you know about these problems in case it should happen again. Would we go back to the Grand Palladium again? AbsolutelyI would just be sure to make sure I check at all the amenties in the room as soon as I get there to make sure they all work. Thank you again. Linda Suter

We stayed Jan 16-21, 2010 in a one BR suite. Beautiful, clean and well maintained. Food was excellent both at the breakfast buffets and evenings at the numerous ala-carte restaurants. Service at the restaurants was uniformly friendly and professional. There are three beaches, each with some lava like rocky areas in the swim areas, but avoidable or wear water mocs of some sort. The "Coral" beach is topless optional and also the best swimming area, tho the beach is small. But it has a bar as well as a small swimming pool - our favorite beach. And no problem ever finding a drink anywhere of what ever you are interested in at the time. There are some problems, towels are often not replenished in the rooms and like others found - no wash clothes! However on the last nite, brand new (never used) washcloths appeared, so maybe this is a problem no longer! The other issue is if you like to snorkel, bring your own gear, theirs is cheap and they won't rent fins, just the mask with a $25 deposit to boot. Finally, the prices in the gift shops are just ridiculous - $25 for 50 SPF sun tan lotion, $25 -35 for cheap tee-shirts, etc. Finally, a word of advice, buy the transportation to the resort and back. Its cheap for the price, you can drink a few beers on the way and everybody on the bus is out for a good time - great way to begin and end your vacation. Yes, I would go again, but probably stay in the Lady Grand Palladium as it is more in the center of everything. Richard Baker

Cheapcaribbean.com gave us the best deal on the hotel we were looking at. It even gave us the 4th night free (which we regretably refused because we already booked the flight back). We stayed at the Pelican Bay @ Lucaya and it was everything Cheapcaribbean.com described it to be. It was very spacious, king-size bed (upon request), balcony overlooking the channel and was very conveniently located. Cheapcaribbean also allowed us to book without any headaches. It took a matter of minutes for us to find what we were looking for and book the hotel. There was even a courtesy phone call asking whether we wanted the free 4th night or not. I am very satisfied with Cheapcaribbean and would most likely do business with them again. Thank you for the great time. -KL

Coral Costa Caribe Resort in the Dominican Republic was a good place for a relaxing vacation. It was all inclusive. The food, entertainment, hospitality, facility were fine. The fitness center needed some improvement. The staff were friendly. Roberto

I had the best time ever!!! We stayed at the NH Royal Beach its a beautiful hotel, everything was great. The staff does not speak a lot of English, so learn the basic's before going. The food wasn't so great to me, but made up for it with the drinks. Booking was really easy through cheap caribbean.....a life long fan. Thanks

1/15-1/20/2010 This resort was wonderful, our room was beautiful, service great. We ate at the French, Italian & Japanese restaurants and the food was great at all. I was worried after reading some complaints about biting insects - never ran across any nor did anyone in our party.

Travel Dates Dec. 23-27, 2009 RIU Montego Bay: My husband and I had a wonderful time at the RIU. It was a beautiful resort and unless you absolutely wanted to, you did not have to leave the resort- everything possible was provided to the guests. The staff was remarkable, as they went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the happiness and well being of each individual guest. My husband and I decided to do a few tours outside of the resort. This also provided us an opportunity to see some of Jamaica. We had very interesting tours and we are very glad that we left the resort to do these. We learned a lot about the culture, people, justice system, laws, etc. We did not get into any trouble, we just saw first hand how things operate there and how the locals deal with these "situations." We are very pleased with our choice to spend our 2009 Christmas in Jamaica and we will definitely come back. We highly recommend the RIU MoBay to anyone and everyone who is Jamaica bound

Our vacation was great! I have to say that it was a little could though, but the locals said it was the coldest it had been in 30 years. They joked how we brought the cold with us. The staff was great, the locals were nice. I am defiantly going back this summer! The rooms were just like the picture showed. The food was really good! I was never hungry and there wasnt something to eat. If you are looking for a five star place this isnt it, but it was just right for me! Mandy L. W.

This was the first time we booked a vacation through cheap caribbean.com. All in all it was a great success. The Condado Plaza was a lovely hotel with nice rooms, a friendly staff, good restaurants, lovely casino and beautiful grounds and pools. The location is great. We had been to Puerto Rico twice before but did not stay on Condado. We prefer it now. The proximity to good restaurants and shops is super. The flights on Jet Blue were on time and convenient and problem free. This was alll you could ask from a vacation and the price was right.

Occidental Grand Flamenco, Dominican Republic: On a recent trip to Freeport Grand Bahamas I was extremely satisfied with all the help from Cheap Caribbean. My visit went very smoothly, no problems at all. Even got an up-grade to an ocean front room. My agent at Cheap Caribbean was fantastic and answered all my questions promptly and efficiently. It made my trip an enjoyable one, not having to worry about details. I would definitely use them again and again to book my vacations. Their prices were better than any others, and there were no hidden fees. Good job

Here is my testimonial for the vacation I booked with you. I mean every word. My wife and I wanted to book an all inclusive vacation, but had a much smaller budget than usual for vacations. We needed to get the best deal possible to be able to afford the trip. We were skeptical about cheapcarribean.com because we didnt know anything about them and did not know anyone who had used them before. After searching the web for a week for the best deal, it was obvious cheapcarribean.com had the best package deal of anyone. Even after we booked the vacation we were still skeptical. We were so skeptical we called the resort directly just to confirm we had reservations. In the end, we worried for nothing. We spent 6 wonderful nights at a true all inclusive Jamaican resort (Couples Sans Souci) for less than anyone else could offer. I will definitely be going back to this resort. As great as the resort was, the most impressive thing to me was the selection of airfare options through cheapcaribbean.com. Usually websites like this restrict you to a few flights with terrible schedules to keep the cost down, but that was not the case with cheapcaribbean.com. We had a great selection of flight options all at good prices. I have already recommended cheapcaribbean.com and Couples Sans Souci Jamaica to my friends. There is no doubt I will use them again for my next vacation. Ken S.

Cheap Caribbean,Just returned from Playa del Carmen and the Blue Bay Esmarelda Resort. Traveled Jan 9-14. The weather was bad that week, but the resort was wonderful. The resort itself was large and spread out, with a wonderfully beautiful pool at the beach. The water in the pool was freezing, but looked wonderful. Enough chairs, and plenty of chairs on the beach. The food was very good at the buffets, and the restaurants were great. The steak restaurant was exceptionally great. Service was good, although the language barrier sometimes difficult. The room was large and comfortable, and we overlooked the garden. Very nice. The spa was lovely, with the thermal pools and decks awesome. The transportation set up by Cheap Caribbean was on time and no problem. The only thing I would suggest, that the signage at the resort was limited, and was difficult to find your way. Would use Cheap Caribbean again, and have already recommended Blue Bay and Cheap Caribbean to a friend.

12/28/2009 - 1/4/2010 WYNDHAM SUGAR BAY RESORT AND SPA The airport transfers were timely and convenient. The hotel was nice but they were filled beyond capacity. The service was mediocre. We were not checked into our rooms until hours after our arrival. And when the elders of the group were taken to their room it still had other people's belongings in them. All of this was resolved about 5 hours after check in time. In the middle of our waiting we went to dinner, I do not eat nor have I consumed pork in over 20 years. At dinner I had a "seafood" gumbo from their buffet, it turned out that it was pork in the soup. I knew it was meat at the first taste. The waitress though not but after the busboy went to the kitchen to confirm the ingredients of the soup it was in fact pork. I was devastated. The hotel manager gave one room a $100 credit for the long delay. As for my pork consumption, the restaurant manger was rather apologetic and did not charge us for a great dead of food for the rest of our stay. They pool/beach towel situation was pathetic. There were never enough towels. If you wanted a towel you had to be sure to get one before breakfast was over. We enjoyed the shows and the island but think they were not staffed properly or accustomed to the holiday rush or being filled to capacity. Respectfully, dionne

We stayed at The Sandos Coracal Eco resort and spa. It was a beautiful place the food was amazing. From all the different restraunts you will not go hungray. The rooms were very nice and very spacious. The employees were all so helpful. Their were many activities to do so you will never get bored. We were only their five days and wish it would have been ten days because there is so much to do. I would go back to this resort anytime in fact we will be going to the same one next year.

We stayed a week at the Coconut Bay Resort and Spa in St. Lucia. We had a blast. The food was good, enjoyed the two specialty restaurants, and the fact that you could get anything to eat no matter what time.Staff was very friendly, and new us on a first name basis. Exercise room was well equipped. We would definitely vacation there again. Enjoyed being on the quiet end of the island, and close to the airport.Would recommend to my friends.Danette

We just got back from our January trip to the Wyndham on Cable Beach in the Bahamas. Great room, great view, direct flight and easy airport transfers; perfect weather and far enough away from the cruise ships to be in paradise, but near enough to go downtown or to Fish Fry on the number 10 bus at a moment's notice. We will be back when the deals are right!

After flying into Cancun airport and going thru customs and immigration do not be fooled by the people who try and grab your bags and take you to the taxis or prearranged transport, They will escort you you to a line of salespeople trying to sell you time shares. They will promise you money, meals, breaks on excursions but will only eat up time from your well earned vacation Go stright out side to were the transport companies are. Mike, N.Y.

Dear Cheapcaribbean, My wife and I want to thank you the beautiful vacation in the Bahamas. Everything went perfectly and I have to say we owe it to Cheap Caribbean. Your staff was very helpful and everything they said was true. It was very easy downloading the information from the computer. I have no idea how you were able to allow us to make the trip at that price! Your hotel was even better than we had thought it would be. When I had questions about the trip before we left, it was always easy to get in touch with a real person to answer them. We would highly recommend your company! Thanks again.Daryl G.

We traveled to San Jose Del Cabo in January 2010. We stayed Intercontinental Presidente All Inclusive. This resort was perfect with young children. We had a wonderful week! The weather was fantastic and the water was warm enough which our kids could swim in the pool from 10:00a.m. To 9:00p.m. The foods were good. They had enough variety of cooked vegetables and bean dishes include vegetarians to keep us healthy. The best thing about this resort is the nature seen close to us. The property of this resort is the end property of the shore so you can go to the endless walk on the beach. And there is a lagoon beside the resort. We saw so many different kinds of birds live in the fresh water in addition to the creatures belong to the ocean. One day, we were on the beach and a whale came to the shore just 10 meter away from us! That whale stayed at the shore for a long time because the waves were so strong. At the end finally the whale took off back to the deep ocean. I went the beach to see the sunrise every morning. There were a few negatives. The shower in the room had not much water pressure. We didnt impress some entertainments. Thank you.

Thanks Cheapcaribbean.com for giving me the best deal possible to enjoy a sunny getaway.

The hotel was not 4 star quality as it states it isI would give it a 3 star since the resort seems more run down than in the pictures except for the main pool area which comes out beautifully in pictures. But I have been to many all inclusive hotels in other places seems better like the Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas. There is nothing to do there outside of the resort and everything is far away. If your just looking to relax by the pool all day and not leave then this is the place other than that, look for a hotel closer to Negril.
