This resort was fantastic! My daughter and I loved every minute of this trip. The food was fabulous. I want to thank you for your help during the planning stages. I am already plotting an anniversary trip in November- this time with my husband of course. I cannot wait to return. We had lovely weather except for a downpour while in town. Hopefully I can get a $50 credit toward my next trip :).

Viva Wyndham Fortuna All Inclusive Beach Resort: We've gone to this resort once a year for the last 6 years. They have incredible beaches! You can walk for hours east and west of the resort in total solitude. Unlike other Caribbean resorts we've been to, at this one, you will NOT be "attacked" or pestered by vendors selling T-shirts, beads, sarongs, etc. as soon as you step a foot off of the property. It's ideal for relaxation. The rooms have all been upgraded and they are very suitable, clean and acceptable. It's not a glitzy resort, but the value for the money you pay is fantastic! The only real downside is the quality of the food. It's VERY bland, especially on the main buffet. However, the overall experience is great. We'll definitely go back!

CheapCaribbean.com: Hello, I just want to advise and share my sincere appreciation to Cheap Caribbean of the ease and simple Vacation booking that it offers. We have just booked our 3rd vacation through Cheap Caribbean. We used another competitor for our vacation/booking needs before switching to Cheap Caribbean. I truly appreciate how user friendly the website is, how easy it is to maneuver throughout the process and the AWESOME prices. I still tell everyone how GREAT Cheap Caribbean is and recommend they use this site for all their vacation needs.Yours truly,Karon and Steve, Nashville TN

Viva Wyndham Fortuna All Inclusive Beach Resort: Crystal Clear water -"The beach had beautiful white sand and water was crystal clear. Because we went in January the water was a little cool at 70. However there were some rock masses covered in coral and vegetation in a water depth of 4 feet as close as 200 feet from the beach's edge and there are countless different species of tropical fish that can be seen while snorkeling there. The water was cool but even my wife adjusted after 30 seconds and thoroughly enjoyed it.It would have been nice if the pool was heated since the sea is typically cool every winter at least that way you have somewhere warm to swim. The hot tub was nice and large. The food was good and enough variety to please all. The a la carte restaurants were great. The rooms were neat and clean but the beds were not great.Service was friendly but slow sometimes.Snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing, trapeze, volleyball, pingpong, are all free and easy access. The noise from the theater and beach parties were way too loud a couple of nights.Overall a relaxed atmosphere and good for kids."

Occidental Grand Xcaretoccidental grandWas not happy with the resort and how they had your building concierge pressure time shares! I hate being rude but you had to be to be left alone. We just didn't make reservations for dinner so we could avoid the pressure! That was ridiculous! We made our reservation 6 months in advance so that we could get our room type we wanted and that did not work out either. We asked for 2 or 3 rd floor room facing the pool. We got first floor facing the jungle. When we asked the front desk they said there were no other rooms available. Xaiver that worked for Olympus said he tried but there would not be anything available until Friday and they would call and leave a message. No one ever called us back. The park itself was AWESOME! Well worth the day we went over. Just very dissapointed with our trip in general.I don't think it was the company I booked through who was to blame it was the hotel. It just seemed if you did not book straight through with Occidental you were NOT going to get anything. They even told us we had to get a cab to go to the park and luckily we found out we could walk to the park right in our grounds of the hotel. That is just wrong I will NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone! The park YES but resort no way!

Valentin Imperial Maya:OK but not 5 star-"The Valentin tries very hard, but is not consistent. The room was shabby (broken furniture, dirty, sheets w/ holes etc) and we were ocean front. We were too grossed out by the mold to use the ocean-facing room spa.The food was hit-or-miss in all the restaurants and the room service was abysmal ( 1-2 hour wait and cold, nasty food)We were at another 5 star resort 7 months earlier in the same area of Mexico and it truly was 5 star. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is attentive and pleasant, it's the quality of the room and the food that brings it down."

Comfort Suites Paradise Island: Good value but annoying constructThe best part about this deal was the full access to the Atlantis. This is worth over $100/day if you were to purchase the wrist bands we got directly from the Atlantis. The hotel was nice but the bar and food (like everywhere else on Paradise Island) was extremely expensive and overpriced. The buffets offered for dinner were over $30/person. Drinks were over $10 a drink. The place was also under construction and I was awakened from my drunken stupor from hammers banging and loud talking of workers at 8:30 every morning. The breakfast buffet was free and great. it was a good way to get some food in your belly each day for free. This is necessary considering the price of food everywhere else surrounding the hotel. I would go back again but I would like to first know if there was any work being done on the property. Everyone there was extremely nice. If you like to have fun, do the Booze and Cruise. it is $60 for a boat ride, lunch, snorkeling and free drinks. Can't beat that at what must be one of the most expensive places on earth to eat and drink.Everything was well coordinated.

Mill Resort & Suites:Great on a budget with no frills for sure"Resort was nice for a minimalistic hotel. The room was clean but the shower left something to be desired. Might be time for some new tiles and grout they just looked dingy and dirty. The bed was as hard as a rock and the room was cramped that you couldn't help but hit your shins on the corners of the bed while trying to get from one side of the room to the other. My husband left with some banged up legs...The restaurant was good with decent food and prices for lunch items. The frozen mudslides were GREAT at the bar.The beach portion of the Mill was a bit crowded with locals that could pay to rent chairs from the resort. The attendant was very nice...setting up your chairs in a spot that you picked out and then folding your beach towel into the chair so it would stay covered and not fly away, which was a nice touch. It was nice but we ended up spending more time at the pool. The pool was very nice and relaxing and clean. The pool/beach towels were good so I wouldn't bother packing your own from home. We wasted space in our luggage bringing ours and never used them. There was always someone to exchange your towels when you wanted a new one so that was a nice amenity. The staff was friendly and helpful even the late night staff when we asked where we could get something to eat at 3am, the security guard brought us over to the food window at the windmill nightclub...Overall a good hotel if you are looking for a bed and shower but not if you are looking for anything that is plush and luxury on your vacation."Everything was great, no issues with any of the parts of your trip. Very happy and looking forward to getting great deals in the future with this company.

Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & Spa:Lifestyleswouldn't recommend to family or friendsGuest services was very poor. They had 4 restaurants to choose from each day. You had to be at guest services at 9 when they opened to make a reservation but you werent guaranteed that particular restaurant that day or even a reservation, This was a members resort and they had first priority to restaurants and they always came first. We were supposed to be VIP guests but werent treated at all that way. Saturday morning, our room was third on list for mexican restaurant. We were out most of the day and got back to our room around 4;30, no reservation on our door. Went to guest services and there was a long line, of course guest services were calling all of these people first to get them their reservations. Guest services closes at 5. I said excuse me in the line and asked to speak to the manager, the lady told me she was the manager and wouldnt let us speak, told us no one else would speak to us and told my son to SHUT UP what kind of service is this. We would with the public and we would have been fired if we spoke to our customers this way.Felix from cheap caribbean that worked at hotel was wonderful. He had a great personality.

Riu Palace Paradise Island:Great value and food and location and serviceJust returned form a great week at the Riu Palace-Paradise Island-Bahamas. We had a great time. The hotel was clean and the atmosphere was positive. The staff was very friendly and always willing to accomodate. The one thing that bothered me in general was that even though it is all-inclusive most were looking for tips but I guess that's the nature of the beast. The pool and beach were really nice, clean and inviting. On two of the days we were there it got cold so we could not use the pool. I do realize that's not normal but it would have been nice if they turned up the heat on the pool. The location was great being situated right next to the Atlantis property. We had no problem walking the entire property. Most of the walk is inside so we were able to use the Casino and see the Aquarium (if you go at night it's free). We were just a short drive to downtown Nassau where there is all sorts of shopping and restaurants/bars. Cab ride is best if you go as a group. $4 for the cab or the ferry! The room was very nice but I did have to go back to the front desk to get them to move me to my correct type of room and one that was more appropriate. Only problem was the bath tub where you shower was so narrow that you stand on the sides of the tub! The buffet offerings were surprisingly very good. The selection was large and varied and the cooking was very good. We found that we didn't need to wait online at 8am in the morning to reserve at the special restaurants because they were disappointing. (poor way to have to make a reservation). Overall we were very pleased with the Riu and would go there again. All arrangements went well. Just a little problem following up after booking with questions and concerns.

Grand Riviera Princess All Suites Resort & Spa:Nice resort with great service. They were always cleaning or fixing something. Staff was very attentive especially in the dining areas. My only complaints were the buffet food was almost always cold, was the same every day for breakfast/lunch. Rooms were extremely damp and realized the second to last day there was mold growing in the lamps. You have to reserve as far in advance as possible to get reservations at the restaurants at night since they fill up FAST. It was a decent resort and I had a good time, but would not go back for a second time to this resort.

Grand Oasis Cancun:Grand Oasis NOT Grand -"When my friend and I arrived at the Grand Oasis, our room was not ready and we had to wait several hours, despite arriving after the Check In time. We were told we would have a room with an ocean view, and we did not. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk , we were told we got what we were signed up for. We brought the paperwork to their attention, and we were told we needed to talk to Cheap Carribean about this problem. The refrigerator in our room was broken, we brought this to their attention every single day we were there. Every day they told us they had record of our complaint, and it was never fixed. Upon check out we brought this to the front desk manager's attention and he had someone go to a working fridge, and bring us a cold coke to call us liars. Obviously this did not go over well. Guillermo (the hotel manager, or so he called himself) at the front desk is incredibly rude. The food is very good. The beaches/pools are great. There is zero customer service at this hotel. If you bribe the staff, they will bring you cokes/waters/booze, but if you do not, your room remains untouched. We tipped everyone, housekeeping wait staff, etc. but refused to bribe the staff for extras, and we were refused service for it. DO NOT STAY HERE"Can always find the best deals with solid reviews.

Gran Bahia Principe Punta CanaDisappointing Vacation Resort"Pools/Beach - No chairs if not out by 7a.m. and staff don't care. Worse than a cruise ship for poolside chairs. Had to take a tram car to the beach it was so far away!Service - poor. Entitled to 2 speciality restaurants, went to book as soon as we arrived as we await our room to be ready and were told no availability in any restaurant for our stay. After an hour of arguing and a return the next day to argue again we were able to get reservations for two restaurants (but not the ones we wanted) and one was for 9:20pm!Restaurant Staff (5 folks) hovered over my daughter and I all through dinner trying to get us to hand in a stack of evaluation cards they filled out saying excellent! Very annoying evening.Staff attitudes were poor and more often than not gave the impression we were bothering them - particularly guest services and bar service, and pool activity folks.Housekeeping - good and helpfulRoom - large and clean but very small old TV in room. Extra charge for a safe. Nice balcony jet tub with shower.Food - plentiful but mediocore. Nice roasted pig one night and leg of Lamb the other but breakfast/lunch - have had much better at other all inclusives.Have been at another all inclusive in La Romana and had a wonderful experience - completely opposite. Would not recommend to anyone.2Jan-5Jan12 - rained 3 of 5 days and rained hard with wind. Way too expensive for the experience. Much nicer places providing more value for the price."All documents were in order. My last trip to Jamica it rained and i didn't receive the rain credit to this trip and again it rained on this trip.

Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa - The Honest Truth!"This resort is certainly geared for families and that is its strength/appeal. The pools, beach area and entertainment is well suited for this core business. For adults only, I would not recommend. The rooms were sub-par, the shower head in my Garden View Room was broken and fell off the wall several times. The loose, cheap plastic toliet seat was aggrevating as well.. Certainly not what I expect at a ""resort!""Though they offer several restuarant/dinning options, the food left a lot to be desired. In addition, the all-inclusive drinks seemed very ""watered down.""Also, when comfronted with a problem or further information, the hotel management team always referred me to the Cheap Caribbean representative, who was only on-site until 11 a.m. each day.I will not retun."This was a bad experience.

Riu Santa Fe -If you like to eat at buffetts this is your place.Over all we enjoyed our stay, however if you do not like to eat at buffetts then this is not your resort. The resorts 4 specitialty resturants require a reservation, a system that needs much improvement. We were not able to get a reservation till our 4th night. and then they were still buffetts with only 4 items made to order. Of the 7 buildings only one has an elevator, we were on the 4th floor and had to carry our luggage to our room. Also while all the food at the buffetts was very good, during lunch if you dont arrive at noon then you are going to have a hard time getting the food you like as they are out of the popular things often.

Riu Caribe: Unfortunately the bed was as hard as a rock. The junior suite that we upgraded to only contained two of the most uncomfortable chairs you ever sat in and the huge balcony overlooking the pool and the sea contained only two cheap plastic chairs that can be purchased at Walmart for $3.98. On the upside the food was great as was the service.

Riu Palace Bavaro: Not a good experience at all - "Our experience was very dissapointing in regards to food, weather, activities, and service. We also had really bad luck considenring that in the 4 days we were at the new RIU, we had terrible weather, all water and beach activities were cancelled all days we were there and ther was nothing to do except be in the room and watch tv. The pools were very cold and we were not able to use them because of it. The food in the buffet was very dissapointing and mostly cold. The theme restaurants also offered very low quality food.We are truly not very picky travelers and have gone on many cruises and vacations so for us to complain about the food and sevice is rather strange but it was truly dissapointing.I would not recommend this hotel"We had a terrible experience in our hotel in Punta Cana

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana:Depends what you're looking for"What I learned on my first all inclusive trip: You get what you pay for. I'm used to decently good food, happy service, etc. The food was absolutely terrible. I would say some things were even inedible. Mostly it was buffet. But it was pretty nasty. If you're middle america and are a huge buffet fiend then maybe you will enjoy it, but to me it was worse that high school cafeteria food. Even on the first day of arrival we wanted a snack at 3pm and the pasta salad and nachos were gross. How can you mess up Tortilla chips? They were stale and doughy. I stuck with plain spaghetti for the most part because everything else was pretty gross. Both in taste and health factor.Since there were kids everywhere and nobody really monitoring the buffet, be weary of eating stuff little kids are grabbing and putting back. Ick.The service wasn't very good. People working there weren't friendly at all. Especially at reception. A few of the waiters actually had some personality though and were pleasant and nice to be around. The rooms were old and things didnt work. No deadbolt on the door. Go to open the armoire where the safe is and the doorknob falls off. Towel service was skimpy. Maid didn't always come to fix up the room. No insulation so you could hear people talking outside as they walked by. Or running. Or yelling. Definitely not a lot of privacy. To top it off I also got food poisoning leaving me in my room miserable for a day and a half. Hate to say it but it didn't surprise any of us that someone got it based on the food.Won't be going back ever."service was good

Cofresi Palm Beach & Spa ResortDisappointing: Our experience at the Cofresi was very disappointing. Our family went as a Christmas vacation and it was frustrating from the very first moment we walked in the lobby. It was late in the day after spending two hours at the airport filing a missing luggage report. We arrived at the resort around 4:00 pm and were greeted by the desk and given our room keys etc. We were then driven to our rooms by one of the "staff" members. The resort is very large and without a map difficult to navigate the first day...where is the beach, pools, restaurants etc. The staff member who drove us told us that they would give us a tour the next morning, no map that first night no information - see you in the morning after breakfast. We tried to find a restaurant that first night and were told they were all closed...no food at the resort but we could take the shuttle to the resort next door and have the buffet. We took the shuttle to the resort and buffet was mediocre at best. Next morning after breakfast our staff member along with MANY other staff members were waiting not only for us but many other guests...this immediately looked like a full on sales pitch. We explained that we were at the resort on vacation and not interested in buying into their vacation program. No...this is not a sales pitch - just a tour. With much hesitation we got into the shuttle and went on the tour with the first stop being the SALES OFFICE. We explained again we were not interested in buying anything - no no just a tour. Needless to say we left and walked back to the resort and figured out the locations of everything ourselves. Restaurants are only available to members so.....all inclusive means that you can drink all of low quality drinks you want and eat the mediocre buffet. If you want to TRY to get a reservation at one of the many restaurants that are promoted in the ALL INCLUSIVE you can get up early and wait in line at Guest Services - be the 5th person in line only to discover that EVERY restaurant is already booked. ALL INCLUSIVE is very deceiving and VIP is deceiving as well. VIP status got us access to the VIP beach and the better drinks there but that is about it. Our room accommodation was not much better - no mattress cover on the mattress...a flat sheet too small for the bed was intended to the be the fitted sheet over the mattress, our children asked for an extra blanket on three occasions but never received it. Our shower head was broken and spraying water in to the bathroom, we contacted the desk two times and our tour representative once and no one ever came it repair it. Hot water was a hit or miss. We had bottled water in the refrigerator on day one but never again, we asked...no one every came. The refrigerator barely worked and the same went for the refrigerators in the other rooms we had. One in room refrigerator looked like it was pulled out of a college dorm room dump - broken, dented and without a shelf in it. The redeeming factor in all of this was the beach and pools. The beach was very nice and staff kept it clean, pools were clean and very nice but no evening swimming was allowed. The holiday party Christmas eve was nice (very disorganized with service) but pretty decent food and drinks. We enjoyed our time with our family and my husband and I tried to keep our opinions to ourselves about our impressions of the resort but I don't believe we would go back unless huge changes occurred.I am not sure. I guess I do not know how much Cheap Caribbean knew about this resort. We enjoyed our time with our chidden

Hotel Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort:El Cid is not a place to go to Relax"Relax is not the word for El Cid. 1st off customer service just isnt there. I had contacted Cheap Caribbean to ask for requests for adjoining rooms (2 adults and 3 children) and rooms away from building 19 (has a bug problem). Cheap Caribbean did just that...in SEPTEMBER! The first thing the front desk told me was that we were in building 19 and not adjoining. I asked how? ""We dont have to honor requests!"" Was the response. That really just starts the customer service for the week.PLEASE PLEASE dont let anyone pull you over at the airport to talk about tours!!! They are trying to get you to sign up for the El CId ""Vacation Club""! We didnt know better and wasted Mon and Tuesday trying to stay away from the front staff who constantly tracked us down at the front of the building when we came up to the desk, or to eat. THEY EVEN CALLED OUR ROOM! Because NO ONE would help tell me how to set up dinners at the restuarants (reservation only) with out attending the ""Vacation Club"" deal, we went. They promised 1 hour and 1/2. AND specials on tours!! What a racket...4 hours later, I told them I had to go, my 3 children had had enough and THEN after 3 more sales men asking for $79,900 from us, they gave us the tours....the bargain tours!!! PLEASE make sure if you do this you ask for the tour to Xichen and VALLADOLID (this tour is from 8 till 5 pm) the tour we got was the bargain one, NO Valladolid and TERRIBLE lunch and we were gone from 7 am to 10 pm (you have to drop everyone off first, since ElCid is away from EVERYTHING!) Just dont even do it! PLEASEThe walls are paper thin, I MEAN paper thin. You can hear EVERYTHING your neighbor says and does! The front desk was rude when I called about the refrigerators not filled each day.OH, remember NO ADJOINING ROOMS! PLUS, they gave us 2 rooms with 1 king size bed EACH room. So, my 16, 13 and 1 had to sleep in 1 bed! for 7 days. I asked for a cot and they never showed up...we searched the building and found one and got it to our room, NO PILLOWS, NO Blanket. Had to call twice to get those to show up!This is my 3rd trip with Cheap Caribbean. We have been to St Kitts, and St Lucia and I was SO Disappointed with this place. PLEASE DONT WASTE Your money.Until they can separate the Vacation Club from the hotel experience and stop pressuring people to buy (really $79,900 asked from us!) and figure out a way to provide some customer service and OH YES< THE FOOD IS AWFUL! El Cid just isnt any good.ALSO< we purchased our package with the Mega Bonus from Cheap Caribbean. El Cid NEVER provided the items to us nor offered too. I dont know what vendors you had on your sheet, but their information is NOT being provided to El Cid customers. Cheal Caribbean might want to ask about that!"Cheap Caribbean has been great. But, this El Cid is NOT what you have listed on your site.

Viva Wyndham Fortuna All Inclusive Beach Resort:Worst hotel I ever bookedRoom was not clean - no light at bedside - one pole lamp in room with no light bulb. No chair nothing comfortable in the room at all. Waited in line a beach side grill for take out 45 miutes. Checked out without spending a night at this location.I called CheapCarribean from the resort and told them my displeasure with the hotel - they were able to arrange another hotel for us within minutes.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Majestic Elegance Punta Cana -Great location, food to be desiredThis resort was a wonderful location, right on the beach, and the facilities were excellent. Good service and comfortable accomodations made for a very relaxing vacation. In addition, the adults-only section (Elegance Club) was an amazing deal that really made the trip worthwhile. The conscierge service by itself basicly paid for itself. Overall a good resort, but the food options were less than desireable. Both me and my wife got slightly sick after 4 or 5 days, and we suspected the food. The italian restaurant was the only one we loved (though we did not try the french one), and we ended up eating there most of the time. If you're looking for a beach and relaxing atmosphere, go here. If you're a foodie, you might want to look elsewhere. The process of booking the resort was a little complicated, and no rain "insurance" is a joke (since it rained on our vaca, but we can't afford another trip anytime soon), but the service once we arrived was amazing and really substantially improved the quality of our trip.

Sosua Bay Resort:The good, the bad, and the ugly."There were some really good things about this resort- the location was beautiful and it was all inclusive. It does look like what the pictures show except that Sousa Bay Resort is in more of a state of decay than what is depicted. Much of the hotel is falling apart and not all areas of the resort are in use or very clean. None of the hot tubs were working, and I attribute most dysfunctional parts of the resort to the questionable service. The staff at Sousa does the bare minimum, and they do not accommodate guests if anything goes wrong. When the power went out, we had to wait for several hours in our room for it to get fixed. The cold air had been out the night before, and the staff did nothing to make up for the resulting sleepless night or the electrical incident.I not recommend this resort to anyone who cannot communicate fluently in Spanish, as very few staff members were comfortable communicating in or understanding English. The beach is beautiful and the local town is nice to walk around, but visitors are constantly bombarded by local vendors on and off the beach. The idea is that they tell you a price and you barter with them. You can get reasonable deals that way rather than the outlandish ones they often expect visitors to pay. However, the woman that did my hair raised her price when she was finished, followed us back to the hotel for the money, and when we gave the head hotel security guy the amount that she had originally said we owed, he still came back and tried to barter for her, and asked us for more money for her every time he saw us in the hotel. It was very uncomfortable, and we had hoped that the resort would be a haven from locals trying to get every possible penny they could from us with the assumption that we could afford to pay anything because we were tourists. In short, the service was not professional, but Sousa bay is a beautiful place. Go if it's the only one in your price range, but don't expect a resort that includes everything it boasts of."

Occidental Grand Xcaret:Only a man made beach, all rocky coast, no long walks on the beach. Would not eat at the Oriental dining option. Very spread out resort style, bring your walking shoes. They have a shuttle, but only one and sometimes you can walk faster than waiting for it.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: "As far as the hotel and transportation was excellent. The only thing that was not good was the fishing trip. The two boats we booked through Olympus or CheapCaribbean were very old and one of the boats charged us docking fees and it was supposed to be all inclusive boat trip and it was not the money but the principle."

Viva Wyndham Fortuna All Inclusive Beach Resort: You get what you pay forNot much to do outside of the resort as far as exploring the area. There are no restaurants, shopping, or even parks to go to. The one extra add on we picked was the glass bottom boat, there had to be six people and we were the only two. Rooms were your standard hotel room although the view was to die for! Right on the ocean. There are three restaurants and a fourth little grill on the beach. The main restaurant is a buffet, the hours are terrible. Got in at 3, didn't open until 6:30. The food is average, the best was breakfast. The Italian restaurant was NOT worth the reservation it took to get in. The Italian and Chineese restaurants were reservation only, and you could only go at night after 6:00. If you were hungry after main restaurant closed you were stuck with the grill. The grill served hamburgers and hotdogs. They were frozen. Would have been nice to have more options for eating. There were no snacks available other than the grill. The beach was gorgeous! It was clean and there was always a chair available. The staff was very helpful. The drinks were ok. Wine was boxed wine and drinks were all mixed drinks. Kind of got old. Considering the price it was ok for the money.easy to arrange. All went as was supposed to.

Be Live Canoa:Quick trip - not as expected"We booked this trip as a last minute get away. The hotel was old and needed repair. Upon arrival we learned that the only alcohol was their local liquor and you could not get any sort of premium drinks anywhere on the facility. The food was poor at best - comparable to a local all you can eat cheap sloppy spoon. The drive from the airport was almost 2 hours and we had to wait almost 2 hours at the airport before they could get enough people to ride in the transportation. The transportation company would not answer our call and for two of the 4 days we were forced to spend with the hotel trying to facilitate our return transportation.I guess the only good part of the trip (other than my company) was the fact that it rained during our stay and we then were eligible for a $100 discount on our next trip through Cheap Caribbean. If you want to travel to DR - do not try Be Live Canoa - you will be dissapointed."

Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe:Not impressed"The resort itself is gorgeous. Our rooms air conditioner was not working properly. We called twice to have it fixed and it still didn't work right. My biggest complaint was the food. The buffet food was horrible. I am dominican and when I went to get mangu (mashed plantains) at the buffet it was horrible and had not taste. My boyfriend ordered omelette twice and both times they were very runny and were not cooked properly. We also went to the italian restuarant and in my boyfriend's tiramisu he found hair.In conclusion, all though a beautiful hotel, food is not good at all."

Now Sapphire Riviera CancunNow Sapphire Riviera CancunExceptionally beautiful resort. Not enough oceanview rooms but gardenview rooms were quite nice, and all rooms were within a few steps from the beach. Resort is peaceful and relaxing. Staff almost rate a 5. Spa services expensive and not consistent quality. Beautiful well-maintained beach. Tips were included, but were not discouraged, so staff seemed to expect them. The coupons we received for use on services were so restricted that we did not use any of them. Dining options were surprisingly good and varied. We would definitely recommend the resort.Finding right flights and information on website somewhat difficult. Enhanced flight options and extra day added significantly to what the original cost would have been. Telephone agent for CC was more than helpful, even able to upgrade our airline seats. We felt very comfortable that our trip would go smoothly, and it did in all aspects. We did note that our package was significantly more expensive than some of the other resort guests even taking into consideration the airline upgrade.

Almond Beach Village All Inclusive Resort:Almond Resorts!"We have always been pleased with our trips booked through Cheap Caribbean, but we were disappointed in the resort in Barbados. It was very ""dated"". Upon arrival our AC unit was not functioning properly and blowing out stale, smelly air. I immediately called guest services. They sent maintenance who seemed to fix the problem. By the next day, it was back to being medium cool, stale, smelly air once again. It was not completely fixed until the 3rd day of the trip. The unit also dripped down the wall in the room. On Wednesday of our trip the hot water completely shut off during my shower. I had to get dressed (while dripping wet) and go to guest relations once again. They did give me a key to an unoccpied room to take a shower, but I thought that to be somewhat inconvenient. The water problem was resolved quickly. Guest relations staff seem somewhat aloof and don't seem to take guest concerns with the response you would like they should considering the situation. We did enjoy the food at the speciality restaurants. The breakfast buffet was average. The Boardwalk Cafe for lunch was our favorite.Overall all we did enjoy our trip but again, we feel the resort is in desperate need of renovations."

Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive:Fabulous Trip! The hotel was great (though bathrooms were a littel dated) but being able to walk right onto the beach was well worth it!!! We will use Cheap Carribean again for our next trip to the Tamarijn. The food there was better than I expected and there are plenty of things to do since the hotel is centrally located between downtown and the larger hotels with casinos/shops. A tip for women is to bring your own blow dryer if you have thicker or long hair. The hotel arranged any and all activities you could think of. The hotel was very clean and our room was always clean. Well worth the cost just to see the sun set rise and set right outside your patio. This was our first time using Cheap Carribean and I was a little nervous at first however they took care of everything without missing a beat. The reservation process was easy, the staff was great and our anniversary trip was fabulous. The flights, hotel (even requesting a first floor room), and all transportation was arranged without a flaw.

Riu Palace Punta Cana: Riu Palace was nice"I visited Punta Cana four years prior and remember pulling into the Riu Palace to drop off other airport tranfer passengers, thinking, ""wowwww, this resort is amazing. I could never afford it.""Well lo-and-behold and thanks to CheapCaribbean, I got a great air/hotel package and got the opportunity to stay in an amazing resort. Upon arrival to the Riu Palace, you find out it's essentially a compound with four other Riu resorts on the same property, but it's not crowded and well spread out.The Riu Palace is a spectacular sight. The lobby is immense with Victorian-era looking furniture. The large stairway leading down to the Plaza is surrounded by a fountain. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. All staff members were friendly and attentive. The food was consistently delicious (and plentiful) including the buffets and the restaurants. The view of the beach was great; it looked out to the shipwreck. The sand was soft, the waves were perfect and it wasn't crowded. There were enough palm trees for shade, if needed. There were many staff members circulating throughout the beach delivering drinks or taking drink orders.Overall, it was an amazing, clean, resort with attentive, friendly staff, a good variety of food and generous drinks. Well worth the money for the experience. I will consider other Riu resort locations in future travels."CheapCraibbean consistently has competitively priced promotional deals with a variety of options. The site is easy to navigate and I like how it infomrs you of the cost of the trip two days +/- your date choice in case you are flexible with the dates. I have not been disappointed once; except on my recent trip when Amerian Airlines discontinued the non-stoip flight I selected - no fault of CheapCaribbean though.

Barcelo Maya Colonial and Tropical Beach: First trip to Mexico, Barcelo Tropical 12/6-14/11"This was our first vacation abroad. For the past 25 years we have vacationed along the east US coast beach resorts. For our 25th anniversary we decided to go all out. We searched the internet for resorts and deals and became overwhelmed and frustrated. That's when we contacted Jeffrey at CheapCaribbean.com. He simply asked what's your interest and what do you want to do on vacation. We explained we were interested in seeing the cultural sites of Mexico and a relaxing, quiet resort with nice beach and snorkeling. He suggested a couple of resorts and we settled on Barcelo Maya Tropical. After reading the reviews on different sites of the Barelo Maya Tropical, I became concerned. There were good reviews and bad reviews, but decided to throw caution to the wind and take off.Upon arriving at the Cancun airport we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility including the restrooms. Things went smooth, the lines were very long but moved rather quickly. After my wife and I received the ""green light"" we entered the shark tank. We had been forewarned to go straight for the front doors. The sharks new tactics are to tell you they have your gate number for your shuttle to your resort and they needed to know which resort. They kept trying to pressure us to sign a paper. We finally had to become rude and push our way thru. They must have smelled the new traveler on us. They were all dressed in blue shirts and looked very professional, but our TA, Jeffery, stressed to us to look for the orange Olympus shirts and we did. They were right there at the front door no need to go looking all over for them. They were very professional, and made us feel at ease. We drove to the resort in a very nice, clean van.Upon arriving at the resort we were greeted with a glass of champagne. Our room was ready. They lead us straight to our room and our bags were brought up for us. We requested a king bed on the third floor away from the noise, and that is exactly what we got. The room was very clean and smelled good, no foul odors as other reviews had stated. True the mattress was a little firm, but we slept just fine. A few minutes later there was a knock on the door and a waiter had brought us more champagne and a cake and wished us a happy anniversary - very nice touch. Throughout the hotel, lobbies, restaurants, pool area was decorated for Christmas - even the palm trees. There were Christmas carols playing, even Frosty the Snowman, and Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer sung with a Spanish accent - cool!!We really enjoyed the buffets and specialty restaurants. Now I can't understand all the complaints about the food on some of the reviews I read. There was so much to choose from. It was all great. You could dress up and go to a nice restaurant, or walk in with flip flop to the buffet or grill and the food was every bit as good. We enjoyed some of the more unusual authentic dishes along with steak and seafood. My wife thought the bread was awesome, I think all of it was awesome.FYI: There is bottled water everywhere, no extra charge. We were concerned about the ""don't drink the water"" thing. But we brushed our teeth with tap water, ate the ice, and sampled all the fruits and veggies on the buffet and did not get sick. Some reviews were complaints about the long walk from your room the the lobby or buffet/restaurants. It only took about a minute or two to walk to the buffet and lounges, but it is a beautiful walk thru lush landscapes and waterways. The pools were beautiful and huge, but we didn't fly a thousand miles to sit by the pool. All of our time was spent on the beautiful beach under the palm trees, or snorkeling and swimming in the crystal clear water. The ocean temp was perfect for this. The weather was perfect, in the 80's (F) every day. The nights were in the 70's. It did rain a couple of times, but only for a few minutes and was gone and dried up in no time.We booked a couple of tours. The Coba Encounter, and shuttle to shopping on 5th Avenue. The Coba Encounter was an awesome experience, We repelled, ziplined and swam in the cenote. Had lunch prepared by the wonderful ladies that lived in the Mayan village, and climbed the ancient temple. The shopping at 5th Ave was an experience in the evening. Lots of activity and haggling going on. Get ready to say NO alot, the shop owners are very persuasive. We did work out some good deals on souvenirs. Actually my wife preferred to shop at the Plaza Mexicana at the resort. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are Fiesta nights at the shopping center. Local venders and performers come out - don't miss this, have dinner early at the grill. Festivities start at 6:30.We watched a couple of the shows at the theater. We really enjoyed them. Enough can't be said about how hard the staff worked - waiters, housekeeping, performers, front desk staff, bartenders, landscapers, maintenance, and everyone working there. They worked tirelessly to make sure each and every guest was pampered (yes tip these people, they certainly deserve it).We stayed nine days and still didn't have time to fit in all the activities offered by the resort, that's why we are already planning our visit for next year. This is now our new vacation home.TIP: For all new snorkelers, like me, first practice in a shallow pool. Trust me. Also must try the Dirty Monkey drinks - my wife loved them."Jeffrey, our TA was very helpful and informative. We were first time travelers outside the US and he explained everything about our transportation, money exchange and suggested the resort where we stayed. It was wonderful. the resort was everything we wanted and did not want.

Hotel Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort: Great trip-This is the first time we have used Cheap Caribbean so we didn't know what to expect. Everything went very smoothly. Our transport was waiting for us at the airport and were vey helpful with luggage and tips. El Cid was beautiful, our room overlooked the ocean and the pool. All the people were friendly and the services were top of the line. Loved the tours and the tour guides. I will recommend this place to anyone who will listen! My only complaint is that we didn't know our seat assignment until we arrived at the airport. We sat together for arrival but we did not get to sit together on the flight home.Did not like no seat assignment until arrival at airport, loved everything else.

Grand Riviera Princess All Suites Resort & Spa:Riveria Review-"We were very seasoned travellers- before we had children- and had never considered an all-inclusive option, mainly because we liked the adventure of each day. So, this is our first, Overall, we enjoyed the resort. The beaches, pools and grounds were lovely. We did not figure out till the last few days that there was an adults-only section (since we did not brings the kids along) which was significantly quieter. The foor was average, same breakfast and lunch buffet each day, which was nice but tended to get a bit boring after a few days.We did have to make revervations for most of the dinner restaurants and did not have any trouble getting in- do this when you first arrive. Some of the other resorts do not require reservations which may be better for scheduling flexibility of the day.The resort did state there was ""a free shuttle to Playa del Carmen"" which only ran 2 times per day (1000 and 1200) but you had to make reservations at 0800 the day before over at the other section of the hotel (Riviera Sunset). There were only 8 seats and was impossible to get in. The taxi to the town was $40 round trip with the ferry to Cozumel running $46 per person roundtrip. That just seemed misleading from the website.Overall we did enjoy our stay and this resort was a good value; however, we think that next time we will splurge a bit more and upgrade to the next level up.Hope this helps your decision!"

Excellence Playa Mujeres:the best of mexico-my girlfriend and I loved this resort, the staff was always there to make you happy! 24/7 room service. the bathroom and jacucci was the best. I don't recomend a room upgrade as all the rooms are identical. THe higher youare 3 to 4 floors the quieter and more private. Food was better than was expecting. Best resort for your hard earned dollars!no suprises during the stay. Everything went as planned

Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa:Our stay at the Windham resortLet me start by saying the hotel was excellent. There were lot of choices however prices were a little high. The room was confortable but small. We had a rental car and found out the was a $16.00 per day parking fee. That was an unplesant surprise. We found a restruant just down the road (Antiones) that was considerably cheaper with $5.00 kunches. Yes I said $5.00, there were specials for the day and there was a lot of good food. Another place was up further past the entrance on the right. Good food and reasonably priced. If you drive around the traffic can be tough. The Rain Forres is not far from the hotel and a must see place As for golf there is a Donald Trump resort close by and well worth the cost. I did not see one person on the resort golf courses. We have used Cheap Caribban before and will continue to use thme Cheap Caribban did a great job and we will use them again. They are the best we have used and will continue to use them.

Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun:Nice place...sick time share scams!!"The hotel itself is very nice, great lay out, pools and beaches. However, we were talked into buying excursion packages as we were trying to exit the airport...they are very smooth talking. Then once we arrived at the Hotel, the sales pitch continued! The hotel disguised a sales a pitch with a friendly woman that acted like a personal conceirge. However, she was all about getting us to disregard our purchase at the airport by pointing out it was a SCAM to get us to sit in a timeshare presentation that would last for several hours, and if we were to turn down the timeshare our promised excursions would not be honored. Therefore, she would give us the same excursion package for just a few minutes of our time over breakfast the next morning to tell us more about the resort. Now, we had been awake for nearly 28 hours (we had worked the previous day then traveled all night to get there). We had not even been allowed to go to our room yet!! She would not take ""no"" for an answer and we were too tired to argue anymore and just wanted to go to our room so we accepted. When we came down the next morning we were told to pretend like we were married at this ""breakfast"", then they loaded us into a cab and we were taken to a TIMESHARE PRESENTATION that lasted nearly 4 hours!!!! These people are ruthless! We had been in Mexico for 24 hours for vacation now and had TERRIBLE food, and wasn't even allowed to go to the beach yet!! As you could imagine, this set the tone for a somewhat dismal trip from the start. I wish we had just been left to just enjoy our trip without all the sneaky scams."Great deals, just be aware of the sales pitches.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe:Relaxing!Enjoyed the palm covered beach where we found many places with adjacent sun and shade. The swimming areas in the ocean had half sea grass and sand which made for interesting snorkeling. It was a slow period in December so the bar service was able to supply our drinks fairly promptly. It would have made it easier to follow the instructor in beach aerobics, dance and stretching classes if we knew some Spanish but it was not essential. Our junior suite room was well located and in good clean condition?really liked the hot tub on the patio with the roll down privacy screen that still allowed you to see out into the garden and partial ocean view. We enjoyed the cabanas around the adult pool although we had to get up early to claim one. We never needed to venture of the resort but only sought relaxation. Recommend making reservations at one of the restaurants for the evening?Coral was our least enjoyable. Make sure he has pants to wear for dinner. Overall one of the nicest places we have stayed. If I had more time to stay I might look to select a lower cost resort and use the savings to extend the length of the vacation?that way I can enjoy more days of their good weather.Making our resrervation on line we got stuck trying to make our seat selections and called...the agent was very helpful, friedly and gave us some good advice.

Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & Spa:If you are just looking to hang at the beach you can't beat the price the thing I didn't like is the cater to the people that upgrade and I didn't like. Being pressured to buy into the place and told how good it could be if I did . I will deff spend a little extra next time and go to a resort where everyone is a VIP and where I don't have to be in the loby at 9am hoping to get a reservation at one of the restaurants . You also do not get access to all of the VIP areas only the one beach they require you to buy into the resort to get access to all the VIP areas .Good company to deal with they made everything really easy

Allegro Puerto Plata: Not a three star hotel! The resort was clean and the employees for the most part were corteous and respectful (except fo the nightly entertainment which was inappropriate at times for youngsters, despite my 16 y/o son havinng a differant color band I witnessed the bar tender adding rum to his non alcoholic pina colada). The overall condition of the hotel is deteriorating, they are not providing proper maintainence, our bathroom had mold. Needless to say my whole family came back with a stomach and respiratory virus. They attemtpted not to let us make reservations to eat at the Mexican resturant one night stating we had already eaten at the Italian and it is only one reservation per Cheap Carribean vacation. I argued the point stating it is not stipulated in our travel argreement and our package states all inclusive then they allowed us the reservation. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I know and definately not to anyone with children.CheapCarribean made the transition from booking, receiving confirmation, presenting information at the resort easy.

Jewel Dunn's River Beach Resort & Spa:Didn't need a vacation from my vacationFor the first time we did not need a vacation to recover from our vacation. Our stay at the Jewel was beyond description, everthing was irie mon. The weather was perfect, never even a hint of chilliness at night, and not a bead of sweat during the day. Ocho Rios in December is like Paradise. Every staff member at the Jewel gave 100%. I felt like each one was an ambassador for Jamaica. The Jewel is a little smaller than some of the other nearby resorts, and and the atmosphere is much more personal. We will definatly stay at the Jewel next time we visit Jamaica. Was nervous at first, booking such a big trip online, but Cheap Caribbean realy came through. We got a great deal and every voucher was accepted without any problem at all. Thank you Cheap Caribbean we will book our next trip to Jamaica with you.

Gran Melia Puerto Rico Golf Resort & Villaa:"My husband summed it all up very well. Please read it carefully. My wife and I arrived at the Gran Melia resort on the 9th of February,2011. We were eagerly looking forward to enjoying the beautiful environment. We presented our Cheap Caribbean papers and were told that we would only be allowed to use the two restaurants,Namia and Tempo for dinner. If we wanted to go to LE Pasion we would have to pay for the meal. We were also told that we could have breakfast at Le Soleil and lunch at the poolside restaurant. There was nothing else mentioned though we specifically asked if there was anything else. They emphasised that our drinks and food were prepayed in these areas. We had a drink in the verandah outside the restaurants and they said that we would have to pay because we did not have it in the restaurant. We ordered Scotch on the rocks and they said we would have to pay for it as this was not included in the drinks we were allowed to have. We ordered breakfast in the room and expected to be charged a room service fee. They charged us for the whole meal as they claimed we were not allowed to have meals in the room under our plan. All this was told to us as we were getting ready to leave the resort and were settling our bill. I pointed out to the front desk that this was highly unethical as they had not clearly told us of these restrictions and limitations when we arrived. I also said that though the amount in question was small, it was the principle. I informed them that I would not come back ever.I also informed that if they treat guests like us in this shoddy fashion they would would be doing a great disservice to the people who own and run this place. I told them they need to reconsider their guest relations program. What could have been a truly wonderful vacation was completely ruined by the petty behavior demonstrated by the front desk. We were definitely planning to come back next year but after this I do not think we will return. The name of the manager I spoke to was Evalina.

Be Live Canoa:Great, but mixedFor us, the chief selling point of Be Live Canoa was its proximity to a lovely, almost undeveloped National Park (d' Este), starting under 1/2 mile up the beach and running further than we could walk. However, walking must be done between dawn and 10 am or so, as the sun becomes too strong from then until late afternoon, regardless of the moderate air temperature (mid-80s). Fortunately there were lots of trees on the resort beach. The (inclusive) food and drink were plentiful and good but not great, although the International Gourmet dining option (Italian) was very good. It was surprising that there were almost no Americans at the resort: mostly Germans, French and Italians, plus a few Russians. The evening theater presentations, with a characteristic macho take, sometimes verged on offensive, although it was presented in an attitude of "good fun." The service was lovely and helpful, and even the few vendors of jewelry & timeshares were not overly intrusive. The 2-hour drive from the airport was a little tedious, but it gave us our best chance to see what the D.R. looked like outside the boundaries of our Resort. On balance, we're glad we did it, and the value was extraordinary.see detailed review above

Be Live Grand Riviera Maya:great value, perfect size"This is not a 5 star resort, but isn't priced like one either. The beach is gorgeous with free snorkeling right off the beach. In fact our beach was much nicer than the mega resorts' to the south of us. If you walk about 45 minutes north along the beach, you will reach Akumal (can't remember the name) where the sea turtles swim! You can rent a snorkel from the dive shop there. The food was good. Line up at 6pm for the 6:30 dinners at the specialty restaurants if you want to be seated immediately. The sushi bar is a great option for lunch. The rooms are just ok, but I didn't go down there to sit in my room. The first couple days I didn't have running water at times. Sometimes the shower water would get cold too. Other than that it was a great vacation at an excellent price! I am very happy!"

Jewel Dunn's River Beach Resort & Spa: First time to Jamaica"The bus ride form the airport isn't that bad and the bus driver was very informational in pointing out history and sights, He also stopped at a local bar for us to grab drinks, authentic Jerk Chicken and use the restrooms. upon arrival our rooms weren't ready but the resort checked us in and led us to the the lunch dining option of our choice. The resort's rooms are small, but we didn't spend much time in it, the bathroom on the other hand was tiny, tiny, tiny!!! The only down fall was that our room didn't have any kind of partitioned balcony. (it was set up more like a motel) but that was just the upstairs of 2 buildings. The resort was small enough so you could run into others we'd met earlier and make plans. but big enough to find a spot not to crowded on the beach or pool. The pools were great!!!! I was a little disappointed in the size of the beach, it was very small. However they did have daily sand volleyball games and other fun activities both at the pool and beach. If you do Dunn's river falls ask your diver if you can have longer, b/c 3.5 hours definitely isn't long enough if you'd like to climb it more than once or go back and take photos in specific sports.Make sure you eat at least one night in the platinum and ask for Kevin he's the best waiter we had there! Also Go see Stephen for a catamaran ride... you can bring snacks and some beverages with you, also make sure you ask about ""Jame's Bond Beach"" but do so discreetly!!! and make sure you tip him well:) that was the best thing we did while in Jamaica!!!!"Great service and great prices!

Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa: A Wyndham Grand ResortPuerto RicoOverall had a good time. Food selection was fair. This is a older hotel that has been refurbished. The bathroom in the room was only fair and ran out of hot water 1 day. It is a good deal for the money but next time we'll be going to a more upscale (newer) resort. Very little to do at night.Liz did a great job in helping us select this resort and helped with all of our questions.

Valentin Imperial Maya:Has sadly slid"We first went to the Valentin 3 years ago. They had great activities, the food was surprisingly good and it was a great overall experience. Sadly, things have changed a bit from the last time we visited. the food is still good, but it did seem to be lacking that extra bit that put it above the rest of the resorts in the area. The room we had (in building 1) was great. Hot tub, huge comfortable bed, nice size etc. No complaints at all on that!Sadly, some things had changed. We went in December, and the only thing that I can think is that they cut the staff. Before, the staff was always there when you needed them and very nice. This time, it seemed like the staff was always rushing around and could barely give you any service at all. Another thing was that the food was exceptionally slow. At the French restaurant one night we waited 30 minutes for our appetizers and 45 minutes (after the initial 30) for our main meals. That whole meal ended up taking almost 2 hours! The sad part was, the restaurant was only about 1/2 full. The menu's seemed to be dramatically reduced, as was the food quality. The pool staff changed a lot of the activities they were active in as well. No volleyball in the pool (see below), little involvement outside of when they HAD to be there. Every pool function has become an advertisement for Coco Bungo, which is really sad. I'm guess the pool staff makes commission with the way they were pushing it.And probably my largest gripe about the changes would be the ""Privileged Package"". Things that were once standard have now become part of a package. The pool, which was made for volleyball, has now become private and there is no more pool volleyball. The Valentin boasts about not making dinner reservations, yet this club can (rather than wait 30-45 minutes like the rest of us heathens). It's still an ok place, but just not the place it was. If you can find a good deal, it's still worth it, but we'll probably be looking elsewhere next time."

Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana:Beautiful property, hard to access servicesThe gounds of this VERY large property were beautiful. While the staff at the golden check in were very friendly and responsive, it was generally very hard to access services. We felt like they almost hid the included items - bikes, scuba, reservations for meals - as a way to cut costs. The food at the buffet was mediocre and sometimes just not that good. Overall we had a wonderful time because we came to relax on the beach, but we were disappointmed with the resort. We had difficulty connecting back with our shuttle to the airport. However, a call to Cheap Carribbean quickly solved that problem.I would have liked more information about the actual resort. When we had a problem with the airport shuttle, Cheap Carribbean was very helpful and solved the problem quickly.

Be Live Hamaca Beach:Should read other reviews 1st"We booked this trip on a spur of the moment! it was a good deal, we wanted an adventure, and we went for it. The beaches were nice, the weather was beautiful. The service was pretty TERRIBLE. they put us in the back of the hotel, which we later found out was the worst. When we found out that we could or should try to upgrade to the decent rooms, they would not work with us!! There was literally a MOSQUITO infestation in our room!!!!! I have never seen anything like this! they would NOT change our room, they ""sprayed""..... i was glad I packed ""off"" and am still praying I do not get malaria......would go back to the DR, but probably not here."

Wyndham Nassau Resort and Crystal Palace Casino: Good ValueFor the money we spent this hotel is a good value. The people here at the hotel were great and couldn't do enough to make your stay the best. Parts of the hotel and surroundings were in the process of being remodeled and/or rebuilt, so the quality of the hotel was average across the board but the service was excellent. Down the road when all the construction, remodeling...etc are completed this rating would be higher. Those of you who need internet...they have it available multi stations and WiFi . There's an excerise room available to all wishing to use it at guest's own risk of course.Value...straight to the point business

Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun: Needs Improvement! Food was great but that was it. The beach was unfit to walk on there was debris like tree trunk, branches and rocks that was continuous every day making it unfit to walk, a 5 man crew worked every day trying to clean up all the debris that washed up all day but they could not clean it ,we stayed 7 days and the beach was a disaster the whole 7 days. Pool area was nice . Secrets is over priced and over rated and we would never go back also resort is 8 years old and needs updating, also isolated it took us 1hr.30 min.to get from airport to Resort after we paid for shuttle due to dropping off people to other resorts that were closer to airport. Check in was slow and you sit and wait, girl was no help to us explaning very little, lobby was always very warm the buffet area was always too warm - -no overhead fans in the resort or the rooms - -always too warm in room or put on A/C and you would be cold we left A/C off so we could sleep at night. We are not whiners but we have stayed at better places than this so beware !!!!!Over priced and needs updatinghttp://www.cheapcaribbean.com/core/resortAvailability/cc.2603.xml

Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa, A Wyndham: Grand Resortexpensive"Food and Beverage was so over priced . It was tough to get around as taxi's are very expensive! It was about 45 min from San Juan and Airport.Golf Courses were wet muddy and terrible greens!Overall if you visit bring a lot of extra cash as everything in hotel was very over priced! IE. glass of cheap red wine $12-$14 and beer $8! Really?? Come on, I would have had 2 if it was reasonable"thought cheap caribbean was great just offered the wrong place.

Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay: Welcome home - We will take at least two vacations a year, I would rank this as one of the best places we've gone to I through out the years. There was so many good things about this place is hard to know where to start, for me I think I like the people that work there they were very friendly and kind and very helpful. The place itself was very clean and always offered something for you to do if you wanted to relax or if you wanted to have fun, I would recommend this to any two adults for vacation and we will be back.very very helpful.

Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive: Great family get awayJust stayed at the Tamarijn for an all inclusive week. A great vacation to relax. Not overcrowded, plenty of poolside and beach front loungers. Activities daily for family and adult fun. Dinning options good. Service could be slow at eat/drink bars, but in buffets very attentive. Kids club had great activities, but limited hours. Shuttle service allows for access to shops, casino and the Divi and ran regularly at night, however with rain and during day wait time could be 35 minutes plus. Booking with Cheap Carribean was easy and worked out well.

Iberostar Punta CanaGood resort: "Good location, room and serviceGood the water sports and bufetsGood the beach and pool intertainementDownsides:1( An additional restarants (asian, italian, grill) could be better, We liked the buffets more than any of those restarants,2) the internet is not free. I've bought the 5 days for $40m but it was down about 20% of time.3) Also, we get the 2 hours horseback riding, but it took about an 1 hour to get to the place and another 1 hour to get back. One more downside expirience, people in the bur expecting tips like it was in Mexico. I used to tp at the end of the seadon."

Breezes Resort, Spa & Casino Curacao: Loved it - Thanks Cheap Caribbean for making our experience memorable. Booking the trip was easy and seamless and we really enjoyed our week at the Breezes Curacao. We are already talking about a return trip. Its the only All-inclusive on the island and the value was well worth it. Plus they offer tons of free activities for their guest. Employees were also very nice and friendly.

Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & Spa: RELAXING CHEAP VACATION!!!"We booked our trip for $9 per night per person...so we did not have high expectations. The resort itself was OK. The biggest complaint we heard was the Dining Options...My husband and I had GREAT luck and were able to dine in EVERY specialty restaurant we requested. But everyone we spoke to said they were always denied reservations. A SMILE goes a long way when requesting your dining reservations. We would NOT return to Dominican Republic only because of the country itself. We were told it was not safe to go off of the resort unless you were going on an excursion. I didn't feel safe from the time we landed at the DR airport and for the 20+ minute ride to the resort. The resort itself is very safe....lots of friendly staff and security. We enjoyed our excursions and met some wonderful people and staff. We booked through Olympus Tours right in the lobby of the Tropical (see Juan Carlo). The Dune Buggies, Horseback Riding and Ocean World Royal Dolphin Swim were AMAZING!!!"

Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & Spa: not for those needing handicap accessible venueResort claims (per cheap Caribbean) that it is handicap accessible, NO WAY!!! If you or traveling companion need handicap accessibility find another resort.this was first time CC was used. Not very impressed that they do not know accessibility levels of resorts they represent. Called to let CC know of problems on return home. CC "seemed" receptive to my comments.

Allegro Puerto Plata: exceptional swimming facilities"We brought several kids (dominicanos) ages 6-10 and they had a blast on the water slides and in the wave pool. The slides aren't impressive by U.S. standards but if you have Dominican relatives like we do, we highly recommend this resort. We've stayed at about a half-dozen all-inclusive resorts in the DR.The air conditioning worked very well and the room was more attractive than most we've stayed in.The food was so-so, more for limited variety than quality, even for an all-inclusive-- except for when the speciality was dominican-fare; those dishes were excellent. (We stayed in late November and the resort didn't seem very full, so maybe this had some effect on the selection.)The beach area was good but what set this beach apart from the others was there were no vendors constantly coming up to try to sell artwork, cigars etc. Maybe we just were lucky but I suspect the reason was there was a small, open-air market at the far end of the beach that was set up for these folks."good service and savings

Majestic Colonial Punta CanaNice resort, but not the best"There were too many children and the hallways echoed the noises into the rooms. The Junior suite lacked privacy for two occupants - there was no door between the sink/tub area and the bedroom.he food in the main lobby restuarant was excellent, but not that good in the ""A la cart"" restaurants. We were supposed to get an upgraded room, but they couldn't give us a roon with two beds as we had originally requested. Not too many shops and not a good variety of merchandise to buy souveniers. The grounds were immaculate. The staff were friendly. There were plenty of umbrellas and beach chairs."The best deals are offered and there is always someone to answer you questions and concerns. I have been recommending this site to my friends.

Occidental Grand Aruba: Central Location - Tranquil pool setting. This was my first trip to Aruba - definately best beach compared to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Punta Cana, Rivera Maya, Hawaii. I would not go back in November since it is the island's raining season - did not know that - rained 50% of the time I was there - including upon my arrival & my departure dates. I loved the fact that this resort was on Palm Beach which was gorgeous with white sand - there was a nice boardwalk all along the beach and resort area, couple of nice piers with restaurants for outside eating, and cute shops - lot of ships & sailboats to stare at while your on the beach. This resort was not so packed of people as compared to the Riu and Westin which was nice - you had your space. It was nice to sit outside for breakfast in front of the mini waterfalls, beautiful shrubs, live birds, iguanas - very tranquil setting; however, this was the only eating option for breakfast with the same eating option for lunch - it was tiring eating the same food every day & not very temperature hot - I was disappointed in the food quality. It was also disappointing not to have outside eating for lunch and dinner with the all inclusive plan - I would highly recommend not taking the all inclusive plan since there are so many great restaurants within walking distance from the resort area. The food was nothing to speak highly about besides the Italian restaurant, but the restaurant service is excellent. Wish there would have been better nightlife - the casino is very small and plain looking. The few theatre shows they had for the 9 nights I was there were great - but wish the resort had more evening shows with outside shows & consider having some afternoon shows. The gym is filthy, (floor has not been washed in months) small & has extremely old equipment. Their gym is not facing the ocean compared to the other resorts. The spa is only open until 5 p.m. with no steam room, sauna or hot tub & the prices are extremely high. The shopping though is reasonable. If you have a room facing the pool/ocean view, it does get very loud at night & can be difficult to fall asleep. Also, I booked the deluxe ocean view room & received a room on the 6th floor facing the parking lot & a slight view of the ocean. I did ask for a better view since that is what I thought I paid for - I had to wait 2 days until I was changed to the 5th floor facing the pool area with an ocean view which was nicer. However the balcony & bathroom is way too small. The balcony only fits 2 chairs and small table tightly - no room to lay out. The resort is very limited as far as having a # of rooms facing the ocean directly. If you are going to buy a calling card from this resort - do not make your call from your room. The resort charged me an extra $5.00 per call to use my calling card & not one employee told me that I had to make the call from the pay phone and not the room. I talked to the resort manager about this & told her that they should have told me that when I purchased the calling card from their store, but she still held me accountable for 50% of the connection charges. Also it costs $13 per hour to use the internet. I would definately go back to Aruba; however I would consider staying at the Marriott Ocean/ Surf Club (they have a lazy river, large beach area, super sports bar & casino) - just beautiful inside or the Riu even though Riu was crowded on their beach area & the pool area was smaller.
