Jerry Brooks2515 CR 341 NHenderson, Tx 75652We flew from DFW to Cancun on October 17, 2009 and stayed at the Grand Oasis Cancun Resort for 7 days, October 24th. This was a great choice for a group of six people in all. I read a lot about hard times getting through the airports but we didn't have any. After you get by all the different people trying to sell you something and get to the orange shirts you have it made. We were taken care of better than I would have asked. The hotel is a great place with nice rooms and lots of friendly staff to jump to your every need. It is a pretty place with great pools. Not crowed as they had more than enough beach area lined with lounges, shade trees and a nice view. This hotel is connected to the resort next door and you have full run of all that beach area. I could say a lot about the beach area and we did love it and if you go you will find out. Check out the bars out there were you can get burgers, hot dogs and fries all day. There good and all the beer and mix drinks you need. Food is the main thing I was impressed with. Lunch at the outside bar is sushi and sea food. We loved the sushi. The restaurant behind the pool bar is sushi and Asian food and was the best for us. The staff are so much fun in there. In the morning you come down the elevators and turn right and into a breakfast bar restaurant that has everything. It is a very nice place, upscale, but even us rednecks felt at home. At night the food is great here too. Again we fell in love with the staff and one lady that was so sweet to us all the time we were there. There are four or five more restaurants and you will find plenty of great food for everyone's taste. All week they have some kind of special food party next door so check them out. That sounds like enough to enjoy, but back to the orange shirts. Oasis Tours, these are the people teamed up with Cheap Caribbean will help you do anything you want. We went to the Chichen Itza ruins. I've been before, but it is a seven wonder of the world and worth going. The Xcaret trip where you can zip line, cave swim and drive through the jungle area was a blast. We liked it the best. All day trip and fun all the way. We did an all day out to the Isla Mujeres snorkeling on the reef, shopping on the island and fun on the catamaran to and from. It is a really pretty place and the water is beautiful. We went shopping up town at market 28 and also hit the bars and shops in the hotel strip. All the clubs you could ask for and all fun day or night.I could write a book on the place and I don't like to write, but you will love it if you go. To get there go CheapCaribean.com. I will go back here and because I got a great deal on this trip I will be able to. I shopped hard to get a good deal (tight wad). I looked for low cost and got it with Cheap Caribbean. The great thing is I got all the service and more as if I had money and booked it up town. I don't have any stories about calling Cheap Caribbean for support because I didn't have to. They have their act together and you have all you need right on the spot. They expect you when you arrive. You get everything you need and they make sure you get home. You don't have to ask for this and it makes you feel good when everyone seems to know you and has your name on their paperwork and ready to take care of your every need. I got much more than I paid for and the best experience in travel I have ever had. One last thing is when you arrive if you turn to the left there is a bar. Say hi to Pepie for us. He will take good care of you and is a great guy!Jerry Brooks

Brad Zolkoske & Pam StaceyHurricane, WV Travel Dates: October 19-23, 2009Wyndham Sugar Bay HotelSt. Thomas, US Virgin Islands Pam and I began our trip in Washington, DC and arrived on St. Thomas without any delays. There we found our prearranged ride to our hotel just as our CheapCarribean.com instructions outlined. The trip across the island to the Wyndham Sugar Bay hotel provided us with our first glimps of the beauty of the island and the surrounding blue waters. As we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by bellman and hotel staff that treated us as first class guests giving no regard to our method of booking. Checkin was quick and efficient and we were wisked off to our room overlooking the ocean. Then we were off on a tour of the property...once we found the pool, the ocean and the open air bar the rest of our day was one of relaxing and enjoying the sun, sand and accomodations. While on the premises we enjoyed some amazing snorkling; barracuda, rays, tropical fish and even a sea turtle were seen right off the hotels beach. The resort food was excellent and the menu was varied. The wine selection was limited, but sound with solid selections and reasonable prices. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of restaurants on the premises all of which were open even though this was the slow season (I have found that to not always be the case on my trips to Hawaii). We booked a diving trip from the facilities on the hotel premises and were more than pleased with the experience. The boat and equipment were in excellent condition and the dive itself was a great time. Our experience at the Wynham Sugar Bay was nothing short of excellent, the logistics of booking our reservation through CheapCarribean.com was smooth and hassle-free and our trip went off without a hitch. I wouldn't hesitate to book and travel with CheapCarribean.com in the future and I have already recommended their services to friends and we are planning a return trip next year.

Ffull name: Joanne A. RomanielloCity: StamfordState: ConnecticutTravel Dates: October 22-25, 2009Resort name: Dreams Tulum, MexicoDreams Tulum was by far, one of the most beautiful places we have stayed at. We stayed there while attending a family wedding. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The service was fabulous and the staff was very accommodating. We found the food to be excellent having a nice variety to choose from, although their buffet restaurant was extremely "kid friendly". The beach was gorgeous and private and you didn't have to deal with any peddlers!

Jonathan & Beverly Welsh Mena, AR 71953 Our vacation dates were October 17-24, 2009. We stayed at the NH Riveria Cancun resort. The resort was filled to 19% capacity which we liked. The beach was beautiful! There was seaweed some days. The resort was nice. It is only one year old so the landscaping wasn't fully grown. Some areas had no landscaping. There was only one restaurant plus the buffet open each evening for dinner. You must make reservations for the restaurants. We ate at the Italian and Senses restaurants. The food was not anything to write home about. Same w/the buffets. My biggest disappointment was the fruit. When vacationing, I look forward to the fresh fruit, especially the pineapple. At this resort, there was fresh pineapple at lunch the first two days of our stay and it was very underripe. Then we never saw fresh pineapple again. The cantelope and honeydew was present most meals but was also under ripe. They had CANNED fruit out on the buffet! I do not go to the carribbean to eat canned fruit! Another thing I enjoy is the soft serve ice cream machines. Another disappointment. The ice cream was very poor quality. After tasting it once, I never ate it again. Overrall, the food was poor quality and not much of it. So, if you go for the food, do not stay at the NH Riveria Cancun. If you go for the beach, you'll love it here. Our room was very nice. It had a step-down living room area w/a small couch and a flat screen TV on the wall. The bathroom was to die for. Double sinks, large shower and a large bathtub w/jets.
Hi Yes we are back toooooo bad. WE loved the resort, nothing bad about it. The travel bad, we went american they canceled the first flight then we were flown too porta rico and again the mess begain it ended taking 22 to 32 hours (different destinations points) too get home. We would just like to say thank you for making our vacation the best ever. We booked our trip in March for travel in October and you kept us informed the whole time. Our flights changed twice and each time we were notified promptly. After comparing notes with friends at Hedonism III we found out just how much we saved by booking with you. You can be sure that anytime we travel now we will check cheapcaribbean.com first. Thanks. John CrouchHedonism III Oct 16- 24, 2009Harlingen, TX 78552

Name: Charise AtibaCity: EdisonState: NJTravel Dates: 10/22/09-10/26/09Resort Name: San Juan Marriott Stellaris & Casino Hi, First, I would like to say thank you so much for your site! I must admit that I was a little skeptical about booking my trip because everything seemed too good to be true. I looked on other competitors websites and couldnt find any prices that were comparable to yours. Not only did you offer the best pricing but you offered the best pricing for a great hotel-it wasnt a budget hotel that wouldve been offered on other websites for this pricing. Second, everything was fantastic about my trip. The voucher was accurate and highlighted all of the extra perks that I would receive during my trip (such as a $100 credit, coupons, etc). The hotel exceeded my expectations. We were given an ocean view room, great advice on activities in the area, and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only problem we encountered was the $100 debit card we were supposed to receive didnt arrive from the tourism company that was supposed to supply them. Therefore, the hotel added a $100 credit to our account so we could use it for room service or the hotels restaurants. They resolved that matter so quickly that I cant even complain about it. Lastly, if it werent for your website, my husband and I wouldnt have been able to have a nice 5-year anniversary. It is during these stressful, economic times where people are looking for the best values for their money. I can gladly say that weve found it with your site. Ill definitely be a returning customer! Thanks again!

Hi, We had a great time on our vacation to the Dominican Republic. This was my first trip to the Caribbean and it certainly will not be my last. We were met by the Cheap Caribbean representative at the airport who took us to our hotel and were handed a nice glass of champagne upon arrival. The evening entertainment was a lot of fun and the day time entertainment staff were very creative and were on hand to hold aerobics classes on the beach and in the sea, volleyball, Merengue classes, etc volleyball and beach soccer were very thirst quenching nothing that a nice Pina Colada cannot sort out and they were right on hand and one of 4 of 5 bars around the resort. Will definitely go back! Antony G. ScottNew York, NY 1002710/23 10/26Dreams La Romana

We used Cheap Caribbean to book a trip for a wedding in Punta Cana. We could not have been more pleased. Everything went extremely well. Our airline reservations, transfers, hotel accommodations were excellent. Not a problem with anything.

We went to Sandos playacar , MX on october 17th, leaving on Oct 24th. Sandos was "ok" having a one and a three year old didnt seem to make them think that we needed a bathtub (1year olds do not shower yet) we recived a room with a shower only, very difficult. Over all the place was nice but they seemed to struggle on the management side. thinkgs seemed disorganized like the staff was not getting good direction. We would often wait, holding our kids for extended periods of time when waiting for a high chair... I would rate it a 7 of 10 for that price range. Thanks you- Andrew BedardArvada, Colorado

Three Days in Paradise This is the second time I use Cheap Caribbean, and once again we had a wonderful time. My boyfriend, three of my girlfriends, my Godson & I went to Viva Wyndham Tangerine in Cabarete from 10/19/09 - 10/21/09. Since we got to the Hotel everything was really nice, the waiting area was really neat & clean. The check in was really quick, which was surprising to me since we were adding an extra person when we got there. The best of all was that, when I asked them to give us rooms near each other just in case that the baby wanted to switch rooms, they actually gave us rooms that were connected to each other. It was great! The food was great, the bar, the pool, the jacuzzi facing the beach was just amazing. I loved the fact that the Hotel was not that big, so I was able to find my group at any time. The maintenance people were great, clean towels everyday, very respectful & always with a smile. The cookout party around the pool was really nice, the food was really good, & they had a great variety of food. In conclusion it is always a pleasure to use Cheap Caribbean for my reservation& I'm looking forwards to book my next vacation already for my family & friends. Thanks Cheap CaribbeanSincerely,Ingrid HiraldoBronx, NY 10456

I enjoyed my stay at this resort. It was as advertised from your website. I was traveling alone and found this destination to be exactly what I was looking for and the resort was gorgeous. It was not peak season and it was not crowded so there was plenty of space on the beach and at the pool for relaxing. I was not there long enough to try all of the different dining venus but they were ok, not exceptional. There were just a couple of issues that I have. I took my laptop so that I could communicate back home to family and friends via the internet. Each night I kept getting the same male desk clerk to purchase the wireless connection in the lobby. I regret that I did not get his name because he was not at all friendly. He acted like it was an imposition to assist me with a transaction that took no longer than two minutes each time. Once he even told me that the wireless would work in my room. After a long walk back (large resort) I discovered that it did not work. When I called down for assistance the other desk clerk informed me that they did NOT have wireless in the rooms. The original desk clerk sold me the service for the lobby and he knew he did so I don't understand why he would send me to my room to use it. The second issue was in the fine dining restaurant, the French dining room. I had a pleasant meal and for the most part the service was fine. I ordered a glass of wine. There may have been a language barrier but I was served a bottle of wine! I was clearly one person dining alone and I saw other tables with two or more people being served only by the glass. I felt I was taken advantage of in this situation. The bottle was opened so I did not feel comfortable sending it back which I guess I should have done. I asked that it be delivered to my room to enjoy the rest of the week because I could not drink it all in one sitting. They were very accomodating to this request but made me carry the bottle myself! I felt embarrassed to make that long walk back to my room with an opened bottle of wine in my hand. When I got to my room, my key did not work! I had to walk all the way back to the desk, interact with the rude desk clerk again to get a new key. By this point I was very frustrated. I did not let these frustrations ruin my vacation. Other staff members were very pleasant and smiled and greeted me all over the resort. I would return because there were plenty of things that I did not get to in the short time I was there. I would just hope that the staff would treat those who are traveling alone with the same service they would offer a couple on their honeymoon. Sometimes circumstances cause a person to travel alone that the staff would not be aware of so everyone should be treated with exceptional service! But again, I have to say I did enjoy the resort, the country and using this website. I will definitely look at it again when planning my next Caribbean adventure.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the food was okay, could be better. However, I don't like to go on vacation and have those annoying sales people on my back looking to sell you time shares or vacation clubs. Don't attempt to make reservations at any of the restaurants, I found it strange that they were all booked, but all but one was open. The Sunday we stayed there the hotel through an excellent party for the VIP members. The transportation from the airport to the hotel and back was excellent the bus driver and usher were very courteous. The landscaping, pool and room were okay. Still, I recommend this hotel and would stay there again in the future, they just have to work on their menu a little bit. After all, you get what you pay for.

My husband and I love to travel and we have gone through more than one travel agency. The reason we do that is because we are always looking for the best price at 4 or 5 star all inclusive resorts.Well this year, October of 2009 my husband and I went to the "Secrets Capri " in the Riviera Maya of Mexico. We traveled through CheapCaribbean.com and we have found a travel agency to call our own. Nobody can beat thier prices and the service was just phenomenal. Access to the agents is always right on time, questions and concerns are always addressed. I had the best experience with a travel agency, with cheapcaribbean.com. I will not travel to the Caribbean with no other travel agency. I told everyone I know that likes to travel, to try cheapcaribbean.com and they will be sold...like my husband and I. My wife and I used Cheap Caribbean to book our 7 night trip to Couples Tower Isle in Jamaica for a second honeymoon, October 9-16, 2009. After 19 years together, this trip was better than our honeymoon. We could not have had a better time, easier travel or nicer place to stay. A bonus, as we were leaving home in Denver Colorado, a snow storm was coming in. We got to miss a week of cold and snow for the amazing sun and waters of Jamaica. Thanks CheapCaribbean, we will use your services again!Curt DrennenLittleton, CO

This is our 2nd trip with Cheap Carribean. They are great to work with and include transfers and fun excursions to book with the trip. Resorts are good. Recommend getting all-inclusive if available. Air fare does depend on departure location so click on book now to see actual price. We love Cheap Carribean and will definitely try again and recommend to our friends and family. Lori and John Hamilton17 Farview DriveBranford, Ct 06405 Dreams Punta Cana- Dominican RepublicTravel Dates: Oct. 18th -Oct. 23rd An absolutely beautiful resort, would recommend this resort to everyone. Plenty of activities or plenty of places to just relax, whatever you have in mind, this resort will accommodate you. The decor is modern and sophisticated, and the whole resort is kept up immaculately. The rooms were more than expected, we upgraded to the honeymoon suite, which is well worth the money. The pool is huge and there were plenty of chairs, never were we unable to find a place to sit. There are plenty of places for drinks, and plenty of choices. The restaurants, though beautifully decorated did not have great food if you are a little bit picky, if you are not then you will have no problem. (in our group of 4, 2 loved the food and 2 did not)The workers are pleasant and helpful, and we never had a problem. The resort also has 2 days a week where vendors come so you can shop without leaving, the prices were the same (after bartering) as if you go off the resort. Everyone in our group would go back, which speaks highly for this resort.

This was our 40th wedding anniversary and we wanted to go somewhere we've never been, we decided on Puerto Rico. We decided on the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort because we have stayed at other Wyndham resorts and enjoyed our stays. The Rio Mar Beach Resort was just as we had hoped. We had requested an ocean view and the room was very nice, clean and had a great view. The resort was just like we wanted, we were close to the things we wanted to do. The resturants were good and somewhat reasonable. The only problem was that the resort made reservations for us at one of the better resturants and when we got there it was closed. This was the only problem we had for our whole trip. The price of public transportation is very high ($270) for the round trip (19miles) to San Juan. I wish this was disclosed in some manner before our trip. Very good trip. We will be going back next year.Donnie and Judy from Ohio.

CheapCaribbean staff was very helpful & the vacation packages was extremely affordable. We had originally planed to SCUBA dive the Florida Keys, but the Curacao vacation package was comparable in price & a hole lot more fun. The Breezes hotel people were great & the food was awesome. We had a great stay except for their beds were old and hard. It would have been comfortable to sleep on the floor. We tried several different rooms looking so a softer bed and we were unable for find a decent bed. Everything about the Breezes was quality like their SCUBA diving shop & trapezes activities, however they need to replace those old beds with new quality beds to make staying there a pleasure. Thanks, Katelyn Sutherland

My wife and I booked a trip to San Juan, Puerto for a few days to get away in early October. We had originally reserved a room at the Intercontinental but were later informed by CheapCaribbean that the Hotel was cleaning the pool that week and would not be available during our stay. We had a wonderful time. I called 4 other couples and told them aboutCheap Caribbean . All had a great getaway. Your service was just as promised. The hotel was great. The service was great. The rooms are in need of updating, but the view and the beach is a dream. Great spot for couples. The lush greenside of the island is soo special. We rented jeeps. Driving on left is not a problem.Traffic is minimal. Exploring the island is fun and entertaining. We ate breakfast every morning atCarambola and some of the group ate most of their dinners too. Three coupleswere into trying other dinning spots for dinner. All proved good. I found the island people lovely. As an example, I stopped at a road-side standto buy some limes (2). The lady running the stand gave me 2 limes and would nottake my money. When I got back in the jeep I wanted to cry for the gift of limes,as she was so friendly and sweet. As you can tell, Id go back and definitely use CheapCaribbean.com again. Vicki Darrow

we stayed at dreams palm beach for ten days [10/13-10/23] and had a wonderful time. the hotel was immaculate, the grounds manicured, the beach and water excellent. the staff was very cordial and helpful, the food was terrific with a different restuarant every night and the service impeccable.the rooms were clean and well kept. my only complaint was the A/C did not keep the humidity down and the room tended to be damp.all considered, it was a wonderful vacation and we look foward to our next stay.if you go, look up Simon, the beach waiter. i guarentee you will not go thirsty.

Dear Sirs, My name is Dominic Poncia and I write this letter after returning from the Dominican Republic in Puerto Plata, where were scheduled to stay at sun village but since it closed we ended up at Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort. We were there from 10-25 thru 11-1, and let me tell it was much more than we expected. I want to thank you for taking the time to deal with them and giving us the choice to go there and also recommending it to us we had a wonderful trip, the place was beautiful as were the people. The VIP upgrade made the trip again thank you, had a great time..

Dear CCWe reluctantly returned from our trip to Cancun after 4 excellent days of total relaxation and being completely spoiled. This was our first trip w/ CC and I was somewhat skeptical because it sounded too good to be true. We stayed at the Dreams Riviera Cancun, all-inclusive resort from 10/12 to 10/16. Every detail was taken care of and we couldnt have been more satisfied. The transfer from the airport was easy and upon arriving at the front desk we were stunned at how beautiful the lobby and entire resort were. Our room was also beautiful and had a fantastic view as we looked out across the grounds to the pool and beyond to the ocean. The food was great no matter where we ate, buffet, room service, pool side, or in the restaurants. The entire staff was friendly, professional and efficient (and spoke English). Our only regret was leaving after only 4 days. Laura and I cannot wait to book our next trip (as soon as I can replenish my vacation time) and we will definitely be booking again with Cheap Caribbean. Ive even been telling everyone at work that they need to check it out. Dreams Riviera Maya, CancunOctober 12 16, 2009 Richard Hatchell

For our 10th anniversary, we couldn't have asked for a better present!! The Valentin staff and grounds were impeccable and the food fabulous!! We were just stunned at the beautiful rooms, service, grounds and especially the pools/beach! We just loved the 'adults only' concept and were pleasantly suprised at how much MORE fun we had with just BIG PEOPLE!!! I think each couple should indulge and take an all inclusive trip with adults only--just once!! We met terrific people, all having fun and playing nice....what a blast!! Thank you for the service, beauty, food and fun!! Sincerely, Doug and Jami Holt...Jami HoltBless and be blessed!

Lauren RamettaLowell, MA Travel Dates: October 9, 2009 October 15, 2009Resort: Valentin Imperial Maya Playa Del Carmen, Mexico My vacation to Mexico was unbelievable. I traveled on American Airlines and had no flight trouble (this is a first for me!) We stayed in Playa del Carmen at the Valentin Imperial Maya. The resort was awesome!! We stayed in building #8 (there were 14) and received a free upgrade from the Junior Suite we had booked. The room was spacious, with two TVs, the bed was very comfy, we had a Jacuzzi tub that fits 2 people, a shower that could fit about 4 people and even a be-day! The shower water was hot and the pressure was great. I seem to always have trouble with this when I travel but not here! We left the room each day between 8am 10am and when we would return between 4pm - 6pm the room had already been cleaned. Each day the maids left plenty of towels and also towel art in the shape of animals. I kept them all on the couch and took a picture of all 6 on the last day, so cute! The maids would also return between 9pm 11pm each night to leave you bottled water on the nightstand, mints and a schedule of activities for the next day. You did a lot of walking because the resort was huge. If you mind walking, you may want to ask for a building closer to the restaurants/pool. You also do not have to wear wristbands, like most resorts make you. That was nice not to get a tan line This resort has 7 different specialty restaurants as well as the main buffet. We ate at a different restaurant each night. The food was excellent and so was the service. You could order whatever you wanted, you werent limited to 1 appetizer each, 1 entre each, etc. My boyfriend liked that! No reservations needed for dinner, if there was a wait, they gave you a buzzer and you would just go grab a drink while you waited. The buffet for breakfast was crazy. Everything you could ever want for breakfast they had. The hours for the buffets were great as well. 7am 11am for breakfast, lunch was 11am 6pm and dinner from 6pm 10:30pm. You could also get room service. We did this one night and it was great. The main pool was very nice, with 2 swim up bars. The floats were hard to come by and people hogged them and hid them, so if floats are important to you, bring your own. Each day they had activities in the pool, water polo, bingo, etc. There was also a lazy river pool behind buildings 7 and 8 which was awesome. That was the view I had from my room, of the lazy river pool. The beach was great. You could always find chairs to lay in although the huts (for shade) were hard to come by. The ocean is a little rough, a lot of waves but we are pool people so we only went to the beach twice. At the pool and the beach there was drink service. A waitress would come by and take your order and bring you drinks. You can beat that! It would take about 10 minutes, but when you are laying there soaking up the sun and dont want to get up, it is so nice to get your drinks handed to you! The spa was a blast, I had a massage ($100 free credit from cheap Caribbean) so I only paid $15! You cant beat that. Each night there were shows, live bands, etc to see. The nightly entertainment is not wild, so if you are looking for a crazy time, you wont find it.like I said, there was entertainment and my boyfriend and I found it to be just enough and we are in our 30s. After dinner we would drink at the different bars and watch the shows, danced on the terrace (DJ after the band) and played pool in the sports bar (the men can check the baseball/football scores on the TVs!). The resort is adults only, which I prefer (if you dont have kids, its nice to not hear them ). It seemed to be all couples, we didnt meet any single travelers. I am so glad I picked this resort, it had all the amenities I wanted, it was only 20 minutes from the airport and the price was UNBELEIVABLE!!! I have booked 4 trips through cheap Caribbean so far and will definitely book with them again.

We had a blast!!! Everything was exactly as expected and more. Our room was always clean and with lovely animals.. refrigerator filled and clean fresh towels daily. The bartenders were always friendly and showing us a good time. The food was great! A choice of many items and you could always find something different every night. Lots of wonderful juices and fresh fruits daily. The service in the dining room was especially great! They were all so friendly to us every meal. We are definitely coming back with a group of friends next year and look forward to some more awesome times!!! The beach is just as pictured. This is an unbelievable resort that goes the extra step to make sure you are well taken care of. Cheap Caribbean! We love you too!! Everything went exactly as planned and our trip was a success. We will be booking with you again and have told all of our friends of your wonderful deals! Thanks again for such a great time! Tina M. Zeller

hi,i just experienced one of the best vacations i have ever had.this was the first time using Cheap Caribbean, and it certainly will not be my last.in fact,i am planning to return to the Oasis Cancun, with cheap caribbean's help,in feburary.the arrangements, from flights, transportation to and from airport, were super,no waiting or looking for reps.,everyone was waiting for me when i arrived.i loved the oasis hotel,a beautiful place.my room was fabulous,as stated in my plan,i was indeed able to upgrade to a room with ocean view.the food and bars in this place are also great, each as nice as the next.and the staff couldn't have been any nicer,i really mean that.from the moment i checked in,i was made welcome.this hotel is so clean,i am so anxious to return.one of the best things about the entire experience was having everything taken care of and detailed so that anyone could understand it.i have told all of my beauty salon clients about CCaribbean.even a welcome package on top of everything else, what more could i ask for.thanksi was there from oct.18 to oct 22,next time i plan to stay much longer.since there was rain one day,i have already been given $100.00 off my upcoming trip!!what a bargain.kenneth wagner

Hi, we just got back from our trip with you to Playa del Carmen, MX. We stayed at the Sandos Caracol Eco Resort and Spa. It was a nice 5 day getaway. The resort is nice, clean and the workers were really friendly and nice. They did a great job! Our room was nice, with a nice new towel sculpture each day. They did a great job! Food was excellant and we had no trouble getting reservations for the restaurants that required them. Our dates of travel were: Oct 10-15th, 2009. It was VERY hot and HUMID when we went, more than was comfortable, thank goodness for the nice cold room! Really, the only problems we encountered was at the Mexican airport! When we got there they were unloading other flights and the lines thru immigration were LONG and miserable! They moved very slowly and it was very hot in there! Everyone was miserable! We were coming off of a 3.5hr flight, packed in tight and could not wait to get off the plane, then had to deal with the airport issue, so we were very tired and crabby when we arrived!!!!!!! So our first day was not pleasant! After that first miserable day, though, everything was fine. Our tours were right on, only drawback again, was it was SO HOT it was hard to enjoy them! We went in to Playa del Carmen, which was HOT and miserable. Left after two hours to go back to the resort. Again, other than the Mexican airport and then again at O'Hare when we arrived back, the customs thing is horrible, slow and miserable, the trip was fine.

Elizabeth MooreHavertown, PA10/14-10/20/2009Club Ambiance, JamaicaMy vacation to Jamaica was so great I started planning my next trip as soon as I got home. The resort was small but in a good way. Perfect if you're just looking for some quiet relaxation. There were also excursions available if you wanted to get off the resort. The staff was so friendly and accommodating with any requests or questions. The room was simple but had everything I needed. Housekeeping came every day and was very nice, never an interruption. Other guests were telling me about great websites to use for my next trip down. After checking them out CheapCaribbean.com still had better deals than anywhere else. The flights, airport transfers, and resort were all set up easily in one place. I'll always use CheapCaribbean.com for my vacations from now on. Thanks for making my trip so easy to plan that I could enjoy it and not worry about anything.

Hello! My husband & I recently took our first trip booked through CheapCaribbean.com. We visited the Gran Bahia Principe resort (Ambar) in Punta Cana from October 11th - 16th. This turned out to be a wonderful trip and a fantastic destination for rest & relaxation! We paid a little extra for the upgrade to be in the adults only section... but it was well worth it! The resort was very well maintained and the staff was more than accomodating. Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast & lunch buffets offered good variety, but the quality of the food was average. On the other hand, the food served at the "a la cart" restuarants was above average and delicious! Prior to booking our trip, we had compared prices & reviews between the different travel websites. CheapCaribbean.com offered great pictures & reviews and was by far the cheapest price! Overall, this trip was a great value and we will definitely consider going back again! Sincerely,Audra LavoieExeter, RI

This was our fourth trip with Cheap Caribbean and we will continue to extol the virtues of traveling with them. This trip to Dominican Republic was another success story, due largely in part to their diligence in solving problems before and during the vacation. About 3 weeks before our departure, the resort in which we were supposed to stay closed effective immediately. Cheap C made amends right away by not only finding new accommodations, but by upgrading our stay. We got the VIP treatment at another resort and it was FABULOUS! We are completely spoiled. It was perfect considering it was our honeymoon. There were some drawbacks that in all fairness, should be brought to surface. The transfer company from the airport had representatives that practically demanded $5 per bag to roll across the parking lot (literally 30 feet) onto the shuttle. They were tenacious with their pursuit and this was definitely a negative first impression of the island. Upon arrival at the new resort, we were accosted by representatives who looked like Cheap C reps and presented themselves in that manner who prompted us to follow them right into a time share pitch. Once we met with the real Cheap C rep, Alberto, he made sure they left us alone for the rest of the time. After having traveled to Mexico, Barbados and Dominican Republic, there is one big drawback to the Cheap C system and that is the rep. I think too much incentive is placed on having them promote the tours once you get to the island. They appear to be more interested in getting you to sign on and getting their money than actually helping you with issues. They seem to bend over backward the first day or two, or after you sign on the dotted line for tours. Our rep was so very helpful on day one, but blew us off the last few days of the vacation when he knew we no longer could or wanted to take additional excursions. Some of the tours were literally tourist traps. I would like to see Cheap C give you an honest opinion of the tours rather than waste several days of the vacation and money on worthless trips. We will never again sign up on our first day of vacation for a tour. We have learned our lesson for the last time. All in all, we definitely will travel with Cheap C again. It is very reassuring to know you have someone who can help you out if there is a problem away from home. Although, if you are going to have an issue, make sure you do it the first few days of your stay. Terri and Greg Lehman

Peter and Elizabeth Lepiane, Niagara Falls, NY Just wanted to say how incredible our trip was to Jamaica. We spent our honeymoon at the Grand Lido Braco from October 13-20th and could not have asked for a better experience. Throughout our stay we were treated like royalty and were heartbroken to leave. The entire experience was stress-free thanks to the amazing customer service through Cheap Caribbean and the resort. Thank you for a true honeymoon to remember. ~Peter J. Lepiane~

We booked reservations through CheapCaribbean.com who arranged our stay at the Conrad Plaza Hotel & Casino, San Juan, PR. The accommodations was absolutely the very best in every respect. The hotel decor and room furnishings was 1st class (when was the last time you stayed at a hotel that provided Egyptian cotton towels thicker than most carpeting??). Hotel staff was friendly and went out of their way to make this a great stay. Generally, we don't eat at on-site restaurants, however, we made an exception and dined at their (Italian) restaurant. Will give it 5 stars! Bus line into Old San Juan is right at your door step as well as car rental companies literally next door. Thank you Conrad Plaza and CheapCarribbean! T. RicciOhio

We stayed at the Oasis Cancun from Oct 13 thru 20, 2009. We are Mark and Teresa Dale from LeClaire Iowa. First Off have to tell you the Reps for Cheap Carribbean at our Hotel made our excursion to Isla Mujeres so fun. The resort had all age groups and the pool was so fun to talk to everyone all day. The pool bar was really good and the weather was near perfect. One night of rain that we just swam thru in the pool as it was warm. The resort had great music around the pool and the room was very clean nice and smelled fresh. It was definatley a great bang for the buck that is for sure!! The Viva Oasis, a sister hotel has a better beach but the pool is not as fun so you pick which you like or enjoy both, we did. The bus system is much better than our last visit and for 15 pesos two of you can ride everywhere in Cancun. The bus comes by the hotel about every 3 minutes so you have no wait to do anything you want. LOVED IT ALL AROUND!! For the price we paid we could go three times to paradise. Just DO IT!!

Nichol Bodden & family, Long Island, N.Y. We spent 5 days at the resort which was beautiful and well worth the money for an all inclusive package. The only issue we had was the constant loss of power on occasion,no room phone service for the duration of our stay, broken ice machine and the laundry running out of wash cloths for two days. Still all the other factors allow for these things to be overlooked and I can still say we would return. Oct. 27 - Oct 31.

Hello CC,We just returned from the Riviera Maya and the Valentin Imperial Maya resort. This was an absolutely amazing location. We were there from Oct. 26-31. Theweather was a bit humid, but on the beach and around the pool, the breeze made it comfortable. The resort grounds are very beautiful and the staff are some of the most courteous and friendly people we have met. They always had activities going on to do if you wanted, or just relaxing with a drink poolside. We also did not miss the yelling and screaming of children at this all adult location. We definitely plan on returning! Thanks CC for your help at booking this and your reassurance that this was a great choice. You were right on!Thanks again, Tom Holmes

The Marriott was beautiful...wonderful beach, friendly and helpful staff, nice gym. Location was close to lots of great restaurants. Easy to get to Old San Juan by taxi.I really enjoyed the live salsa band that they had in the evenings. Unfortunately after only playing an hour they were replaced by a DJ(not so good). The pool area is beautiful for relaxing but none of the pools were really for swimming(maximum depth 3ft).But who cares, it was beautiful and warm. The two days that it rained just cooled it off.I'd go again.Georgina G

My family and I went to Puerto Rico October 9th through the 13th andstayed at the Intercontinental Hotel. The hotel was beautiful andright on the beach. The staff was very attentive and helpful, although one problem we did have was we were perpetually given only 3towels even though we had 4 people in the room. We called the frontdesk on the first night and were told another towel would be brought up, but it never came. We ended up supplementing with a towel from the pool supply. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the pool with waterfall and ate at oneof the hotel restaurants which is right on the beach. There isnothing better than enjoying a nice dinner while digging your toes into the sand. The room was clean and comfortable. When we arrived around lunchtime our first day the room was not ready. We left and ate La Casita (a nice restaurant across the street) and came back around 4. The roomwas still not ready so we were upgraded to pool side. We had awonderful view of the pool area, but unfortunately the roof outside our window was not as appealing. Plus one night there was a banddownstairs that played until 2AM. It was so loud it sounded likethey were in the next room. We had a early morning excursion plannedfor the next day so this made for a rather unpleasant evening. However, when we called the front desk they offered to move us to another room. Being that is was after midnight I didn't feel like packing up all of our stuff and just suffered through.Other than those few problems, the hotel was good, nice location, and the staff was extremely helpful. If you go I would recommend renting a car rather than taking a taxi (which is very expensive) or waiting on the bus. I would also highly recommend taking a tour of BioBay, but skip the Plaza Las Americas (it is just like any other mall).Overall we had a wonderful stay and plan to book again with CheapCaribbean.com soon! Thanks!Sabrina

The people were friendly and the food and drink were more than adequate. The beach and surrounding area (gated community) was safe and very upscale. They had free bike rentals and there were dedicated bike paths everywhere.!!!!!!!! Playa del Carmen was an eashy bike ride(5 Min) or walk(20 Min ) away. We hope the price will be the same next year as we will be back.!! Tom

My boyfriend and I took our first trip to Barbados for a 7 night trip at the Coconut Court Beach Resort. The driving factor for staying at this hotel was the great price for the length of time which we were thrilled we found on CheapCaribbean.com. I would describe the hotel as "beachy," ye it was much nicer than I expected. We liked that we could take a trip to the supermarket to stock up on drinks and snacks, and fit everything in our refrigerator. Our view was absolutely beautiful and we spent a decent amount of time on the balcony. The service was great from all of the staff and we especially enjoyed the happy hours throughout the day and night. The beach was nice and private, and provided plenty of palm trees for shade or open sand for sun. On our trip we did a Catamaran ride (which we highly recommend - the hotel can schedule that for you), and we also went on Ted's Tour, which is a fun way to see the island! The one thing I didn't like about this hotel was that while the water was warm and beautiful, it was much rockier than I expected. You can walk past the rocks and get to the nice sand, but I would have preferred to do without it. But for the price we paid, I would deal with it and definitely go back there again!Pam SewellMalverne, NYTravel October 10-17Coconut Court Beach

What a fabulous stay I had at Frenchmans Reef Hotel. My Garden View room was upgraded immediately upon check-in to an Ocean View with a balcony overlooking the pool and the bay! There are two restaurants with outdoor dining which is especially nice in the evening. One of them is the Sunset Grill which overlooks the twinkling lights of the mountainside across the bay absolutely gorgeous and very romantic. There are two great pools one up at the main hotel with a swim-up bar and one down at the Morningstar. Ive stayed at Frenchmans Reef previously and will go back there again next year. It cant be beat! Charlotte DoremusNaples, FL

Hello Cheap Caribbean! I just wanted to say thanks for helping making our trip to Puerto Rico on 10/14-/10/20 a fabulous success! I was nervous about booking with an on line travel agency because I had never done so before and I have to say I will definitely book with CheapCaribbean from now of for all my tropical traveling needs! It was easy, efficient, and CHEAP!!!! There were no snags in flight arrangements or hotel reservation and both times I called to confirm or ask a question, your agents were super nice and helpful. The Intercontinental Hotel staff were friendly and the accommodations were lux. Thanks again, we had a wonderful time! Sincerely, Reonna Donovan & Michael Hardwick

Peter BecerraSacramento, CA10/12/09 - 10/21/09Sheraton Nassau - Bahamas Here is my review for my trip through Cheap Caribbean: "My wife and I just got back from our Honeymoon (10/21/09) in Nassau, Bahamas in which we stayed at the Sheraton Nassau Resort. This was our second trip booked through Cheap Caribbean (Cabo last year was the first), and we have not had a problem as of yet. We did learn that like any vacation destination, the devil is in the details. So, if you're planning a trip to Nassau in general, here are some things we learned which might make your experience just as incredible as ours. 1) First off, the area in which the Sheraton Nassau is located in is called Cable Beach (this is important when you're trying to navigate maps or relay information to locals). It is called this because it is the hub of their communications to the outside world and there are under water telecommunication cables. Except for the incredible beach that the Sheraton sits on, there is nothing touristy to do in this area. The touristy parts are located in Downtown Nassau and Paradise Island, which is a 15-20 min drive. The Sheraton is one of the nicest hotels in all of Nassau, except for maybe the Atlantis resort/casino on Paradise Island. It connects to the Crystal Palace Casino, which connects on the other side of it to the Wyndham. Nothing fancy about the casino or the Wyndham, but the Sheraton has a beautiful lobby and common areas. 2) The Bahamas do not have any Sales taxes. Absolutely nothing you purchase will be taxed. The government makes all their money from Banking and Investments. However, 15% gratuity is automatically added to everything where gratuity applies. Sure, you can tip even more than 15% if you like, but you normally don't have to worry about tipping because it's part of the receipt you receive. 3) To get around the island, do NOT take taxis - only for cost reasons. If you don't mind spending money, then taxis are fine. The only time I would recommend taking a taxi is to get from downtown to the Atlantis (see #5 below). However, if you want a very cheap way to get around, there are Buses that run the street that are only $1.25 per person. The Buses have route numbers on them, and 99% of the time you'll get on the #10 Bus. There are Bus stops all over the main street (Bay St), but you don't have to be at a Bus stop for it stop for you. When you see a #10 Bus come, no matter where you are on the street, just put your hand out and the Bus will pull over for you. You can either tell the bus driver where you want to go, or you can simply sit down and when you're ready to get off, simply say loudly "BUS STOP". You pay the $1.25 when you exit the bus. Important fact: Buses run only 'til Sundown, so if you're not careful, you'll be stuck somewhere and have to pay for a taxi ride back to your hotel. We went in October, so Sundown was approximately 7pm. 4) All food/drinks are expensive. Especially at the Sheraton hotel. Breakfast buffet is $19.99 and the dinner buffet is $34.99. Luckily, we booked a promotion through CC that gave us daily breakfast for free. The breakfast was pretty good, nothing much to complain about (except the price). Even room service is expense - a cheeseburger meal is $17.50 + $3.50 delivery charge and an automatic 15% gratuity added. The food was good, but still expensive. You'll immediately find that guests that have been there a few days have figured this out and regulary order Dominos that is a half mile down the street. The Dominos price was close the what we pay in the states, and they only charge $1.00 for delivery. Unfortunetly, we could only find Dominos to deliver food, so hopefully you like pizzas and hot sandwiches if your cost conscience. I would recommend the first thing you do when you arrive (or the next day) is take the 10 bus (see #5 below) west to the City Market and pick up several large bottles of water and food/snacks. They don't sell alcohol there, but there is a liquor store which is by the Burger King (which you pass and is a short distance on the way to City Market). 5) The best and most affordable way to get to Paradise Island (where the famous Atlantis hotel/casino is) is to take the #10 Bus to downtown Nassau and take a $4 taxi over the bridge right up the Atlantis entrace. What I would NOT do, is take the $3 ferry across to Paradise Island. The ferry only leaves once they have packed the ferry boat up with tourists, and it gets very hot in the boat. It also takes longer then it should: 30-45 min. And, once you get off at the ferry terminal on Paradise Island, you have a 10 min walk to get to Atlantis. Much better to just pay the extra $1.00 (per person) and take a taxi - well worth it. 6) We purchased three activities through CC: Combination Tour, Robinson Crusoe, and Stuart's Cove Snorkel. Both the Robinson Crusoe and the Stuart Cove Snorkel were absolutely amazing. On the Stuart Cove Snorkel, they stopped at 3 snorkeling locations and not only were the waters perfect and clear, but there were tons of fishes and incredible reefs to be amazed by. And the last location we were able to see a dozen or so reef Sharks, which was scary and exilerating at the same. We wish we would have booked and experienced the Exuma tour, but it was $200/person and a bit out of our budget. Even a simple all day pass to the Atlantis resort was $120/person (what a rip off!). You can get into the Atlantis and see their really cool aquarium and gamble in their casino for free, but anything more than that costs $$$.

Rachel Lynn DunnSpotswood, New JerseyTraveled to: Whyndam Riveria Maya, Riveria Maya, MexicoTravel Dates: October 9-12 2009Booking ID 30247668 Our trip to the Whyndam Riveria Maya was a very nice one. The beaches were beautiful, and you couldn't ask for better weather. The food in the restaurants was amazing, especially the ethnic foods of Mexico. The fruits were more delicious than you could imagine. There were alot of activities to do at the resort, my favorite being trapeeze lessons! The drinks were great, and when they say everything is included, it really means everything! The only problem we had with the trip was our room. Upon arrival, they placed us in a room towards the back of the resort - farthest away from the beach and pool. When we asked why we couldnt be by the beach, they told us all those rooms were occupied. After seeing the room we were given, and talking a walk to the beach and seeing how far it was we went to the manager and complained - and were immediatly given a room right by the beach. Indeed, they weren't all full! The room we were given was adequate - however the mattress was horribly uncomfortable as it it was simply a thin mattress on a slab of concrete! Also, we had ants all over our bathroom, that appeared even after continual spraying on behalf of the cleaning staff. Although the room was not that great, the staff and their help was amazing!

What a wonderful place to stay....all the restaurants were great....the beach wonderful and the pool....everyone was very friendly and nice.....it is a large complex and there was a lot of walking but they do have a shuttle that was great....we would have prefered an ocean front room but we found out there aren't very many....but the rooms were very spacious....cheap caribbean could not have been greater...we had such good service and having a non stop flight was great....we will use you again....thanks, JoAnne

We had a lovely stay at the Tamarijn in Aruba; however, it got off to a rocky start on checkin, when we were told that only 1 room had been requested by CheapCaribbean, instead of the 2 that we purchased...and they were not sure there was an additional room. After several phone calls and a short (15-20minute delay), the front desk clerk was able to find a 2nd room. We were not able to stay on the preferred first floor (immediate access to the beach), but were able to get a room near us for our traveling companion. I can not say enough good things about the Tamarijn and their staff.Regards, Cheryl Cheryl Wade Brummell, PMPProgram Manager

Name: Lynda Nyberg & Troy PleseCity: Lynda: Brooklyn, NY & Troy: Chicago, IL Travel Date: October 6, 2009 to October 10, 2009.Resort: Conrad San Juan Condado PlazaI had such a wonderful time on my trip that I booked through cheapcarribeans.com that I wrote a review on tripadviser.com.The Conrad Plaza was beyond belief. If I never left the hotel I would have just been perfectly content with that. It had beautiful room with GREAT accommodations and amenities. There were 3 pools, 2 jacuzzi (one in doors through their gym and one outdoors), they had a sauna, and a first rate gym with new equipments and plenty of room to work out. I could have done cartwheel in there if I wanted to...trust me I was tempted to! They also have several restaurants. We ate at the Varita downstairs when we first arrived and although it was a bit pricey it was worth it. The food was delicious and they had very large portions. I had the turkey BLT and it was HUGE. The size of a baby's head!Speaking of food (I shall return to my review of the hotel in a moment because I am far from done) every meal that we've experience in Puerto Rico was absolutely heavenly. In Old San Juan we had the pleasure of dining at Raices (not expensive with large portions), The Parrot Club (reasonably price with a good size portions) , and here is the big one....(drums rolling....) THE DRAGON FLY. Each and every meal was done to perfection but the meal at Dragon Fly was hands down the most memorable and absolutely delectable. Their desert was entrancing (it's the fried wonton with banana/nut filling). I didn't think it was humanly possible to drool while eating...well... I've shot that theory down that night. Although it was a bit pricey to eat at the Dragon Fly believe me...it was well worth it. Besides...if you're in Puerto Rico, you're probably on a vacation. Treat yourself! Also nearby the hotel was an great 'lil restaurant, La Hacienda with an ocean view front (not expensive at all with large portions). Picture this: waves crashing against the rocks, as the breeze blows through the window and you are in the center of all of that with perfect company (which I was privileged enough to have, thanks Troy!) and a divine meal bestowed in front of you with top notch service. Go to Puerto Rico, and that can be a reality for you.Now that I've made myself hungry back to the review of the Conrad Plaza. They also have a Casino, a hip lounge area, 2 tennis courts, and you can rent a boat and kayak in their lagoon...which our hotel room overlooked. If you want a great, serene view asked to stay in the bahia vista room on the 10th floor. We had a balcony with a perfect view, overlooking the lagoon, the tennis court and one of their pools.Could not have asked for better maid service. They ALWAYS do such a great job cleaning up the bathroom :). We order room service once and it went smoothly as well.Sites to visit: The Fortress in Old San Juan. $3 for entrance fee to see one of the Fortress. A mile away is another fortress that if my memory serves me right is another $2 or $3. My companion and I didn't go to both but we were content with just visiting that one. We also did a hiking and zip-lining tour. Shame on me for not remembering the name of the company but the Concierge Desk in the hotel has their name and number. It was $125 for a half day excursion from 9am to 12:30. It included a 15-20 minutes hike with 10 ziplining course. The last one which is half a mile long. The forest was only 20 minutes away which was perfect in comparison to some of the other companies that provided excursions that was an hour and 45 minutes or even 45 minutes away. The guides were VERY friendly and lots of fun.If I was to ever return to Puerto Rico you can bet that my rear end would be parked outside the Conrad Plaza's balcony with a cold bottle of beer. Cheers!

I would highly recommend the Viva Whydham Tangerine in DR. Can't think of one thing that could be improved except how long I had to stay. Far exceded expectations for the price we paid. Had trouble spending money once there as everything was included. Planning my next trip with all the money I saved from this one.

Nicole McKinney Dallas, TX Traveled to The Catalonia Riviera Maya, 10/14-10/18 My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the Catalonia. It was a great experience. We arrived late but were still greeted happily and of course welcomed with a drink. Our room was nothing fancy but it was clean and spacious (and it looked like you could upgrade to something very nice if you planned to spend a lot of time indoors). We met with our Cheap Caribbean rep the next day and he was very helpful in helping us arrange our activities. I did the Dolphin Discovery and he hooked me up with the Manatee swim. I didn't even know you could swim with a Manatee! It was great. We also did the Xtreme Tulum which included zip lines, repelling, snorkeling in an underground cave and a tour of the Mayan ruins. Also great. Back at the resort we had a lot of fun snorkeling. There's really a great variety of sea life right there. The staff was constantly inviting us to get involved in some activity and they put on a really cute production of "The Lion King" while we were there. The buffet is so-so, which I think is standard with buffets. But the restaurants were awesome so use your reservations. We ate at the Hibachi and Mexican restaurants and heard from other guests that the Italian was also delicious. We had so much fun at the Catalonia Riviera Maya!

After 16 hours of traveling to include lay over time, we completed the check point in Barbados and YES at almost Midnight there was a person with a sign that included my name there to drive us to the Hilton. At that point I just wanted to get to the hotel and CheapCaribbean.com was there for US! :0)The entire 8 days was perfect and I would use your organization again and have already informed close friends of the great experience we had.I thank you for making my vacation relaxing and trouble free.Ray LaBranche

My name is George Czelusniak from Chicopee, MA. My wife and I booked a vacation through CheapCaribbn to Grand Cayman 9/14/09 thru 9/21/09 at the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort. Although this time period was during the supposed rainy season, we found other than a few days with late afternoon showers, the weather to be outstanding. The Seven Mile Beach area was exceptional. The beach and restaurants were certainly not crowded. The service and quality of meals was great. The location of the Marriott Beach Resort was ideal to Geeorgetown, other resorts, restaurants and golf. Rental cars, cabs, or simply walking to these made everything easy to get to. The Marriott Beach Resort was an outstanding choice for us. The conditions of the Resort were terrific. The friendliness and help of the staff was amongst the best we've experienced. Our vacation to Grand Cayman and the Marriott was an outstanding experience and woul certainly recommend it to anyone considering a trip to the Caribbean. Everyting booked through Cheap Caribbean was flawless (air, hotel, transfers, and recommendations).

Name: Sarah EvansCity: Pittsburgh, PATravel dates: October 10-17, 2009Resort name: Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & Spa, Puerto Plata, DR I absolutely LOVED Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & Spa, located in Puerto Plata, DR. When we originally booked the vacation, we were supposed to be staying in the Sun Village Resort & Spa, which was located up the road. However, the resort closed for business a few weeks before we made our travels. Therefore, we chose to stay in Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & Spa, which was absolutely worth it. The transportation to and from the Puerto Plata airport was fair. They seemed interested in getting us excited for our trip and they were fairly timely. The shuttle taking us from the airport to the resort was on time. The shuttle taking us back to the airport on our departure date was a little late but we still had plenty of time to catch our flight in time. On a scale of 1-10, I would give the hotel staff a 6. There were a few times where we needed assistance with certain things, and although they tried, they were not the most helpful. The entire 'A La Carte restaurant' booking process was a slight nuisance. We had to book a day in advance for each of the restaurants between 1-2pm. However, we were not allowed to book them all at the same time, which seemed silly to me. We had to leave the beach every day a little before 1pm to stand in line and book these restaurants for the next night. If we could have booked all of the restaurants at one time for the whole week, that would have been a lot easier. Because we got bumped from our original Sun Village resort, we also got access to the VIP beach, which was AMAZING! On a scale of 1-10, I would give the VIP beach & wait staff a 10! The wait staff was always extremely friendly, attentive, and willing to help out in any way they could. The regular beds, swinging beds, and lofts that were set up for us on the VIP beach were incredible. I also loved the way the beach was set up...primarily how it was overlooking the ocean. My friend and I literally spent 6 out of the 7 days on at that beach all day. The VIP sushi bar was also GREAT and the food that they served on the beach was good as well. Because we were VIP, we also had access to the Sunday Welcome Party, which took place right on the beach. That was really fun! The food was great and the drinks were exceptional. The entertainment could have been a little bit more catered towards families and young adults (maybe offer a DJ as well?) But, it was still fun. As far as the buffet was concerned, on a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 5. I found that there were things I could eat at most of the meals, but the food was not good quality. Also, it seemed like they had pretty much the same things at every breakfast and lunch. I also would have liked for them to offer a few more healthy alternatives. The dinners were not all that bad, but it seemed like they also offered things that were a little out of the ordinary and had no information about what was in them. I'm all about trying new things to eat but not when I have no idea what is in them. On a scale of 1-10, I would give Lifestyle Tropical Resort & Spa an 8/10. The rooms, beach, pool, bars, A la Carte restaurants, etc. were exceptional. However, the food and resort staff were lacking. All that being said, I would ABSOLUTELY go back to Lifestyle Tropical Resort & Spa in the near future. I may just take along some extra food to snack on in the room and skip out on the buffet :)

Hi! I had a terrific time on my week long vacation. There was a change at the last minute of the resort I was to go to but the Lifestyle was great. The accomodations were pleasant and clean. The help was very friendly. There were plenty of tour options or just relaxing around by the pool or ocean. I went to the spa while I was there and had the best foot massage of my life. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. The drinks were all fine, the bartenders occasionally were overwhelmed and could have used more help. I enjoyed meeting the varied guests that stayed there from all over the world. Donna H. Sullivan

My husband and I just returned from the beautiful new Secrets Silver Sands resort a few minutes outside of Cancun in northern Riviera Maya. Our vacation was from October 11 through 16, 2009, which was perfect; no crowds, no waiting (well maybe the swim-up pool bar in the afternoon) despite the resort being 75% occupied. I had to ask for our welcome champagne at check-in, glad I read the reviews so I knew to ask. We used our $200 resort credit toward a room upgrade on the ocean rather than pool view and Im so glad we did. 24-hour FREE room service was great, especially the secret lock box where our food was delivered from the hall and we could retrieve it from inside the room so we didnt have to see anyone if we didnt want to. I cant say enough about the 5-star restaurants nor can I pick a favorite. But the Mexican restaurant has the best Mariachis that I have ever seen or heard they are family so their voices are superb together. The service is excellent drinks happily served no matter where you are; in the pool, sunning on the sand (with or without at top). We had amazing side-by-side massages on the beach followed by champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. The spa was better than the Ritz Carlton and it is available to you all day if you purchase spa services. The beach was knee or hip-deep as far out as I could walk. You must swim with the dolphins at Isla Mujeres, though. The concierge will hook you up. Gracias, CheapCaribbean.com! Leslie Howell, Altadena, CA

I am writing to give a testimonial of my recent trip. We went to San Juan, Puerto Rico and stayed at the Ritz-Carlton. The hotel was very nice with great service. It was right on the beach and had all of the amenities we would expect. We were able to get the best price through cheapcaribbean. I searched many websites and used all kind of promo codes... and cheapcaribbean was the best. Everything went smoothly during our flight and hotel check-in. I thought two things could be improved. The website is a little combersome at times, and it is sometimes challenging to match the hotel and flight you want. Second, it was a little uncomfortable having to present the concierge at the hotel with a "voucher" rather than doing a normal check in. Thanks!

Wanted to say that we stayed at NH Real Arena in Punta Cana September 12-18, 2009. We don't have a bad word to say about resort. We had an ocean/pool view room on the 4th floor, perfect. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Wendy one of the regulard waitresses was awesome, great personality. The food was always plentiful and a wide variety. Would recommend this resort highly. We will be going back in a couple of years. On different excursions we went on, we met people from other hotels, they had complaints about where they were staying. I read many reviews and was nervous, there were very few mosquitos as the resort sprayed every day.

10/26/09 Dear CheapCaribbean.COM, We went to Mexico from 10/09/09 to 10/15/09 and our Reservation ID was: 30243182.2. We arrived to Cancun, were pleased to see that the custom, security etc was very organized, found Olympus Tours easily and arrived at NH Riviera Cancun, dropping some people along the way at other resorts. The welcome was very nice and the green drink was delicious. The wet washcloth was great. We were escorted to our room explaining were the amenities were etc. Our room with a balcony was huge, comfortable and the view of the pool and the ocean made it even better. The employees were very cordial and open to chat with us. The restaurants were fabulous, specially "PURE", with a special 8 courses menu, out of this world. "Senses" was very good and the decor was very European. The buffet also always great, specially the breakfast was out of this world. The "Asian" was also very different and good. However, the Italian was a little disapointing. We never tried the Mexican. Olympus Tours arranged our excursions, bent backworth to please us, and even helped when I had a big problem with my cell phone, trying to call the U.S. and Cheap Caribbean. It was on the Sunday, Juan tried to reach Tony Buzo who was in the hospital with a guest, then his boss, and fixed my problem. Please note that my husband is handicapped and need a scooter to go around. They were always ready to help with a smile when we needed it. A funny story. The first night we were at the hotel, the dinner was on the beach, buffet style. The weather was warm, it was paradise. Then a big boom was heard. It was thunder, followed by strong wind and a terrible shower. Everything was flying, we were drenched and had to go to the buffet restaurant quite a way up the hill. I dont think that I ever was that wet in my life. Welcome to the Carribean... I tried to extend our stay. Cheap Caribbean was very acomodating. However, Sunny airlines was going to charge us $355 to change the flights. So we left... with big tears in our eyes. What a fabulous place in paradise. Would recommend to anyone, anytime. The only thing. They could improve the night attractions. Maybe being off season, it was not as good. Oh! well... I will have to reach Sunny Airlines, because some nice person stole all my jewelry and my hysband cologne! Hope to go back soon Claire Thevenaz
