I know there is island time however it takes forever to get a drink at any bar!
We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott in St Kitts. The pool and whirlpool were great and the beach huts with cushioned loungers were awesome. We were approached several times each day by locals selling massages, jewelry, etc even when we were resting but as all beaches are public, there isnt much the Marriott can do. We did see some ants in the bathroom but not enough to be a bother and the rest of the hotel was extremely clean. I was less happy with the deep cleansing facial at the spa but it wasn't horrible. Although the beach is touted as 4 miles, it becomes impossible to walk after a mile or so due to the slope and grasses. The restaurants were expensive but there are several others within walking distance including a coffee house/sandwich shop that was good. Overall, we loved St Kitts and the Marriott and I would definitely recommend it. P.S. the shops in town close at 5 and most are closed all day Sunday
I found the hotel and its employees just great. The staff couldnt be more friendly or responsive to my needs. I changed rooms a few times to get the right one for me, and they let me do that with a smile....i was laughing with them all!
the breakfast is perfect for an early riser...and the pools and beach are very inviting.....dinner at the restaurants in the hotel was a little challenging....not the best meals i had in st kitts....
and LOVED the casino...gambling and entertainment at the same time...perfect!

Is this resort TOTALLY non smoking? Need elevators.

The St. Kitts Marriott has elevators; however, we are able to note a preference for a non-smoking room. This resort is not completely non-smoking and their guests are allowed to smoke on balconies and outside areas.

392 air-conditioned guestrooms in the five-story Frigate Bay House (with elevators) and in 19 three-story buildings (without elevators) arrayed amid tropical gardens between the Atlantic Ocean and Frigate Bay House. Air-conditioned rooms have furnished balconies with pool or oceanviews. Rooms include premium bedding, compact refrigerators, coffee makers, satellite TV, and bathrooms with marble vanities and hair dryers. Balconies and patios offer views of the resort grounds, pool, golf course, and mountains. Room decor features pale-salmon walls with crown molding, tile floors with area rugs, and antiqued caramel-colored furniture. Beds have triple sheeting, down blankets, and down comforters.
Rollaway beds are available on request, based on availability at time of check-in, for additional fee of $20 per night (subject to change).
We think the Royal Beach Casino is a blast. It's the largest in the Caribbean, and who can say no to weekly Texas Hold 'Em tournaments?
What We'd Change
Sometimes there's not much to see from those windows and balconies, so make sure to upgrade or ask for an ocean view for a memorable view.
