Not good

Food is limited, we stayed with the lite package. Buffet and Italian were the only decent places to eat. Rooms were ok. We did a lot of excursions and were out and about so that didn't matter. Worst part is the noise. Young kids drunk out of there mind, loud until 6 am. We complained and they do nothing. If you plan on spending a lot of time in the resort don't choose this place. If you are going to explore the country and you aren't a light sleeper then why not as long as you don't mind obnoxious teenagers.

Very disappointed

I have so many bad things to say about this place #1 the food is HORRIBLE. We Got the lite package so they talk you into upgrading. Me and my boyfriend paid $275 to upgrade our wristbands which was supposed to be better food. Don't do it the food is horrible nonatter what package you have. #2 it's full of 17 and 18 year olds who are ridiculously drunk all the time and on drugs and the staff don't even care they literally just push them on a sofa bed on the beach so they can sleep. None of the workers know where anything is and they just want your money. I saw a guy pay for VIP service and staff kept bothering him so the guy had to pay them off his back. They even complain about the tip you give them and have the nerve to ask for more. They never give change in US dollars and try to scheme you with less pesos. Did I already say that the food was horrible? Drinks are also watered down and disgusting I was nearly bloated the whole time from having to just drink beer. Drunk kids come back to hotel at 4am and start banging on doors in the lobby it was impossible to sleep. Please don't go to this resort unless you are about that life. It's not for everyone. Mexico left such a bad taste in my mouth I will probably never return

First Trip To Cancun

Overall, very good trip. Previous negative reviews had us concerned BUT i found that most things we read were not experienced. I would suggest to go ALL inclusive or at least upgrade to that package when checking in. Difference in about 20 other services is well worth it!! Also, take some sort of YETI Cup for outdoor beverages - keeps drinks colder and less trips to crowded swimup bars. My 2 "average" scores reflect air conditioning in rooms (comfortable but could be cooler) and "odor" around swimup bars (you probably know what i mean). My "good" rating for dining with least inclusive package (not many options) - once we upgraded, we had very good meals.

What's to Love

An all-inclusive resort where you get it all at a great price.

The resort sits on an almost half-mile of snow-white, soft, sandy beach. Get those toes ready.

It has the longest pool in Cancun - it's a quarter-mile long. (You can find your own Private Idaho in it.)

The non-stop crazy fun: themed parties, dancing, shows & more.

The frosty drinks at the swim-up bar. The day drinking is on.

What We'd Change

Oasis Cancun Lite doesn't offer room service, but there are plenty of spots throughout the resort to grab snacks.

Why You Should Go

It's a short 15 minutes away from the airport. Your first frosty vacay cocktail is a heartbeat away.

You can rent a Smart car, and zip around Cancun in style.

You can burn off those margaritas with aerobics, yoga and Zumba.

There's a nine-hole, par 3 golf course that's on-site at the resort.

Water sports at the resort: kayaks, snorkeling and aquatic bikes. Splish splash.

Stress-busting, poolside massages overlooking the turquoise Caribbean. Melt.

The 650 meters of pristine, sugar-white sand is more than swoon-worthy, as is the Oasis Beach Club that boasts resident DJs. The pool, well, let's just say: be prepared to have your hair blown back. It's 300 meters long and one of the largest in Latin America. Peace out, beach lovers.
