Rui Santa Fe was a beautiful place to stay. But, if you book an ocean view room you may not get an ocean view. We looked over a sand and weed pit, but, if you bent over the balcony you could see a little bit of the ocean. The room itself was clean but could use updating on bedding. Towels rough on your skin. Mattress hard. But, overall had a great time and would go back but with a better choice of room location.

Had a really great time

My girlfriend and I had a really great few days in Cabo. The package was planned perfectly and Riu Santa Fe was a great hotel. The food was good, drinks were good, location and weather was great. The only bad thing about the trip was the Internet Connection. I could not connect to the free wifi, which is only located in the lobby and one of the pool areas, I guess. So we paid ten dollars a day to have wifi in the our room. We could not connect to the paid internet once and paid thirty dollars. We complained about this everyday we were there with no result. When we checked out we explained the situation and we did not receive our money back. Other than the internet the Hotel was superb. I loved Cabo and can't wait for our next trip to CABO SAN LUCAS!

Enjoyable and wonderfully affordable

The Rui Santa Fe was everything a person could want in accommodations...The food was good and plentiful, the drinks were as well including making sure the room fridge was always stocked, the staff very friendly as well as helpful....the pools and the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Oh, believe it or not, we always had hot water for bathing and showering. We only had two small complaints.....the bathtub was very slippery and what I would call the Master of Ceremonies spoke a bit much. One other, we were offered a $35.00 credit for a massage, however, when we went to the Spa, we were only allowed to apply the credit to a selected few treatments. On the airplane travel, we would have preferred a direct flight. But all in all, I would give the Trip an A+

Riu Santa Fe Disappointment

This was my husband and my second time to visit the Riu Santa Fe. We were disappointed with the room situation overall. When I booked my package I upgraded to an ocean view room. Upon arrival the room we got was not an ocean view - when you looked out onto the patio it looked straight into a vacant sand lot surrounded by fence and you had to strain over the railing to even see a partial view of the beach. We were then moved to another room #7360 which overlooked the pools and if you stood up you could look out and see a partial view of the ocean. We soon experienced two major issues with the room - the ceiling fan made a constant loud clicking noise so we had to turn it off. We asked maintenance to come look at it and no one ever showed up. We then found a drip in the bathroom coming from the room above through our ceiling onto the floor. It had a foul odor and we asked maintenance to come look. Someone came and looked and just shrugged his shoulder. We complained and someone then sent a person to the room above. When we returned to our room the floor was sopping wet from the water and the smell was foul. We asked to be moved and on our last day of a 4 night stay we were finally moved to an ocean front view room. It is evident that the hurricane affected the building we were in. The entire floor smelled of rotting mold. People were complaining and were hurrying down the hallways to get off the floor. I feel that no one took our original concerns seriously until the finally saw the damage. We will not return to the Riu Santa Fe again because of this issue.

Hotel Description

Riu Santa Fe: Indulge in All-Inclusive Fun

If your idea of paradise means laying partially submerged in a lounge chair without a care in the world, then it's time to float yourself down to explore the infinity pool at Riu Santa Fe in Los Cabos. With the convenience of this 24-hour, all-inclusive resort, you are just three miles from downtown Cabo San Lucas where you can take in the right balance of serenity, spectacular vistas and thrilling nightlife.

If that isn't enough, you'll find more ways to pamper yourself at Riu Santa Fe than time to indulge in all of them. Worried about the kids? There are plenty of fun activities like splashing around in the kid's pool, or engaging in Kids Club activities. While the little ones are occupied, head toward the swim-up bar at an adult pool or indulge in the magical warmth of a Jacuzzi. Of course, you can't go wrong with a rejuvenating massage or complimentary steam bath and sauna at Renova Spa.

If you can't tear yourself from the beautiful outdoors, you should enjoy a succulent dinner under the moonlight with sea breezes blowing through your hair because after all, this is paradise. Three of the resort's restaurants offer succulent dishes in outdoor settings. At La Baja California, the main restaurant, you can enjoy the buffet, if you want some Mexican food, check out La Mision. If you have a hankering for a great steak, then Torote is the ticket. For a gourmet treat, try Peking duck at Zashila followed by yummy fried ice cream.

If you're the type who can't sit still when the music begins, then don't miss the excitement at Pacha. Open six nights a week, this charming nightclub will have you moving to a disco beat in no time. If, you'd rather enjoy a laid back evening, the resort also provides excellent live entertainment in each night. As the night winds down, make your way to your guest room, where you'll find the same blend of local warmth and contemporary decor that makes this resort special.

You could stay at Riu Santa Fe a month and not experience everything in Los Cabos! Long before the peninsula boasted world-class golf courses and Cabo San Lucas laid claim to its hip nightlife, fishermen trekked to Los Cabos for the magnificent marlin fishing. Terrific vistas, non-stop fun and quiet spots make this one a winner.
