We had a good time!

This is our second time to Punta Cana... After the first time we swore we would NEVER go back...(we did not book through cheap Caribbean the 1st time) The resort was very nice our rooms were kept clean, the pools and beach were EXCELLENT.... The main dining service is absolutely horrible.... The servers are all over the place, no one knows where to take drinks and if you ask for a drink it probably won't come... It's buffet food so that's all I can say about that. If you want a server to know your name and your drinks go to the beach buffet and see Yearl (jarrell in English) He knew our drinks and immediately got two tables together for our family of 6. Now, we did tip! We had 3 reserved restaurant meals, I only recommend the habachi grill. We don't speak Spanish, if we did it probably would have been a better experience for us, not saying it was bad. The main service people (people ant the desk and people who wanted to sell you things spoke English) but waiters and the maids didn't. Ok so that's our fault for going to a Spanish speaking country. DONT GO FISHING!!! It's very costly and they really don't care if you catch anything! We zip lined and it was fun! In all honesty we had a good time. Like I said before the hotel was very clean.... Maintenance scrubbed the walk ways every day! There were men raking up the seaweed off the beach daily! So all in all I would recommend this hotel, just practice your Spanish.

Family vacation

We booked 3 rooms. The rooms are large and clean. Service personnel were amazing! Good a/c in rooms. Bottled water was restocked daily when the room was cleaned. The complex is huge, the tram service was great. One you learn your way around it's quite easy. Pools and beach are awesome with easy drink access. Watch out for vendors on the beach though- very persistent!! Food was mediocre. Buffet was better than the a la carte restaurants. Plenty of shopping on the complex. Service personnel were awesome. Very friendly! Lobby was open so it was quite warm. Free lobby wifi is only good in the lobby. We bought the family pack which worked pretty well in rooms. And in the pool area if near a building. Overall we had a great time and would definitely go back.

I was so skeptical about booking this resort after reading some really negative reviews, but had the BEST trip ever! The staff was so accommodating, and goes above and beyond to welcome you and make sure you enjoy your stay. They greeted us right when we got off the bus and gave us speedy check-in so we could get some lunch before the buffet closed. There are many dining options, if you make dinner reservations at guest services when you arrive. However, we did not make any dinner reservations and ending up eating at the buffet every night which was fine! They had many options, decent food, and change it up nicely. The drinks were great! The beach was absolutely breath-taking with many chairs! However, there is a lot of seaweed, but they have a hardworking staff that attempts to clean it off the beach. We still swam in the ocean a lot! The pools were also huge, clean, and had swim up bars. Rooms were so quaint, and very clean! We purchased wifi and were able to use it in the room, and in various restaurants in the resort with no problem. We loved the late night snack bar and had so much fun in the sports bar! The grounds are lush, beautiful, and so well kept. Some of the other reviews complain about how large the hotel is, but they have a very efficient trolley system that runs non stop. You can easily hop on and ride to where you need to go. Staff was so friendly and a lot of fun. We found upon arriving that there is also a late night disco! ONE THING: Bring bugspray!! I acquired 26 mosquito bites when being outside at night. We are already looking to go back next year as it was such a great experience, highly recommend! Me and my boyfriend had the best vacation ever!!

Absolutely wonderful!

I took my mother here for Mother's Day and I tossed and turned about where to vacation. I have to say that I am extremely happy that I chose this location and used cheap Caribbean. Everything was made simple from booking to landing back home. The resort was by far the cleanest place I have ever stayed. Throughout the day staff is hard at work making sure that the grounds are clean the rooms are clean and expectations are met. The food was impeccable and there were so many different options that we never had the same thing twice ( unless we wanted to of course). Throughout each meal staff is constantly walking by refilling your drinks and making sure that you're staying hydrated. All of their staff always had a smile on their face, they were willing to help with anything and everything and they always took the time to say hello. Our cheap Caribbean representative provided us with a number of options for excursions during our stay. We chose the Ocean spa which blew my mind. The excursion was worth every penny and was so relaxing, we were taken care or at every moment. Every single pool was clean, the bartenders were generous and there was never a point in time where we felt that we were crowded by people. My mother has a bad back and couldn't comfortably sit on the beach chairs by the pool so a staff member went out or their way to bring her a regular chair! I am extremely impressed with this resort and it really exceeded my expectations! I will definitely be returning!
