Honest Review from a guy on a Honeymoon

The Cozumel Palace “CP” is a place for couples and adults. The CP had many options and activities to do while on our honeymoon. If you are into diving or want to try it out for the first time, I highly suggest going to Cozumel. I did the all-inclusive plan and loved it as I received the $1500 CP credits. The credits are worth it; all I had to do was pay 11% tax on the credits I used at check out. (50min message was less than 100 credits or $10 in taxes. As for the all-inclusive plan it is really all you can eat and drink. The best part of CP is the staff; they are honest and never beg for tips. Although there is sand, there is no beach at this resort as it is built on a reef for diving and snorkeling. The sunsets are perfect. There is also nightly entertainment by the pool like dancing and live music. Helpful tip: it is less than $10 for a taxi ride from the airport. I suggest just taking a cab instead of buying a transportation package.

Great family vacation

We wanted to share a vacation with our grown daughters. We had a suite at the Cozumel Palace. It had plenty of room and an awesome balcony with a hammock overlooking the Caribbean. The service was the best. All of the wait staff were friendly and very accommodating. The food was varied and tasty. We loved our day at the sister hotel, Playa del Carmen Palace. This was a fun, relaxing vacation for all of us.

Great service

This hotel is small and intimate, not crowded like so many other resorts in the area. The service was exceptional and overall it is a great value. I highly recommend the Cozumel Palace and will stay there again if the opportunity arises.

First trip to Cozumel and many more to come

Our first trip to Cozumel was reccomended by a friend who had previously went and we decided to check it out for ourselves. Cheap Caribbean was the best deal and very courteous and competitive on price and once our reservations was finalized, all we had to do was pack a few things and off we went. The trip was planned out from start to finish with no hidden fees once we arrived. The Cozumel Palace was amazing. We was greeted upon arrival with warm towels and a cold drink. All the amentities were just as described from the room, pool, food, drinks etc. All the resort employees went beyond what I expected and we didnt ever want to leave. We are now planning our next trip back and it cant come soon enough. We will definately use Cheap Caribbean again to put together our trip. I have nothing but good things to say about about the whole trip, booking, etc.

Can you swim in front of the hotel. Do they have steps or a latter to get into the water. I assume that the water is deep .9 answers

You are able to access the ocean just steps from the pool in order to snorkel in front of the resort.

You can swim in front of the hotel. However, there is no beach on the resort. There is sand by the pool area and you can get into the ocean by ladder or steps. The water is very clear and pretty deep. (around 15-25 feet on average in the swimming area i would guess)

Yes, you can swim in front of the hotel. There are three ladders to get into the water or you can jump from the peer, not dive. The water is deep enough but not too deep. It's very clear and very pretty! We loved it!

Yes, you can swim. There are a couple of sets of steps to get into and out of the water. It is mostly deep, but you are very bouyant and it is easy to swim and/or float.

Yes you can swim in front of the hotel, they have a large area roped off for the guest. they also provide snorkle gear. They have to entrances via latters and steps. Water starts off about 8-10 feet and get deeper the farther out you go, approx. 20-25 feet.

Yes. The water is deep and provides great snorkeling. There are two places to enter for snorkeling, one is like a small dock near the main pool. This entrance is a bit of a jump down to the water with a ladder to get back up. On the other side of the pool bar, behind the towel center, there is a much easier access point with excellent snorkeling and tons of fish. Great resort, you can't go wrong.

Yes, the snorkeling is great and there are two entries into the water from pool. Very nice to enjoy if wanting to view some marine life.

There is no beach but there are steps leading down to the water as well as a dock you can jump off of with a ladder to climb back out.

The diving is included only if you are a certified diver. The rates to go out with an instructor for non-certified divers are very good.
