Leaving your suite at this resort might be difficult, as every single one of the 87 rooms offers an ocean-view and range in size from 750 sq ft to a sprawling 1,000 sq ft. The colorful, modern layout offers a privately furnished outdoor space and includes free Wi-Fi access, iPod docks and HD flat-screen TVs. The bathrooms are marble, and many of them have lighted vanities and spa-style tubs. While the upper-level rooms sport private balconies and rooftop solariums, the lower rooms are our favorite since many are "swim-out" suites that connect to the resort's signature Lazy River. Isola Restaurant
Type: Casual elegant
Hours: Breakfast - daily, 7am-10:30am; Lunch - daily, noon-3pm; Dinner - daily, 6pm-10pm
Description: A la carte breakfast with made-to-order omelets, exotic fresh fruit or eggs. Lunch features Caribbean and Mexican inspired dishes, such as roasted chicken or grilled fish.
At night, Isola is transformed into two options: Aura Gill and Trader's Lagoon, each featuring very different menus.
Aura Grill features entrees such as prime rib, a t-bone steak, or salmon steak in lemon-butter sauce.
Trader's Lagoon offers international flair and a spectacular view. Their menu includes chicken au mango or beef tenderloin with Polynesian spices.
Dress code: Island-casual; no beach attire.

Hava Grill
Type: Casual elegant
Hours: Daily, 11am-10pm
Description: Lunch on the beach, offering burgers, BBQ ribs or a traditional Yucatan delicacy, pork pibil tacos. For dinner, more upscale, with items such as filet Mignon, or shrimp with banana flan and pineapple sauce.

BARS/NIGHTLIFE

Brissas Bar
Brissas translates to breezes, and that's just what you'll feel relaxing at the bar. It's high atop a building and features two Jacuzzis, cold beer and signature cocktails, such as martini melon or martini tangerine. Open, 10pm-4pm.

Luna Lounge
The most elegant choice for a nightcap. Offers great views of the Caribbean and boasts intimate seating, friendly staff, and a full bar, with premium liquors and signature cocktails, such as a Don Julio martini or an island mojito. Dress code is semi-formal. Open, noon-1am.

Hava Bar
This one is right on the beach. And it's a great choice for a cocktail in the most casual setting. The bar has wait staff who can bring you a margarita poolside, or even on the secluded beach.

The resort overlooks a white-sand beach and bright, turquoise water. A private pier stretches out into the water, and there's a small hut at the end where you can hang out and catch some shade before jumping back into the clear waves.
