DO NOT STAY IN THE BEACH TOWER
OVERALL WE ENJOYED OUR TRIP VERY MUCH. IN FACT WE WILL PROBABLY GO BACK. HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN AS MOST OF US ARE I STRONGLY RECOMMEND A ROOM CLOSE TO THE WATER SLIDES AND RAPID RIVERS. ITS TRUE THERE ARE SLIDES ALL OVER THE ATLANTIS PROPERTY BUT THE MOST FUN SLIDES ARE OUT SIDE OF THE ROYAL TOWER OR A TOWER CLOSE TO THE ROYAL TOWER. THE BEACH TOWER IS QUITE A TREK.
THE FOOD IS MOST OUTRAGEOUSLY PRICED. WE PURCHASED TWO LEMONADES AND THE PRICE WAS 18.50. AND NO IT WAS STRAIGHT LEMONADE. YOU WILL SERVE YOURSELF WELL TO BRING ALONG WATER BOTTLES, BEVERAGES, BREAKFAST AND SNACK FOOD.

RE: Room very poor
The Atlantis is outstanding from the outside, the rooms are in serious need of TLC. We got upgraded from The Beach Tower to The Coral Towers as we were getting married. Anyhow there were a few petty thing like the coffee pot didn't work, the toilet constantly ran and the sink didn't drain. However we loved the view and thought we could live with it. The day we got married and we were getting ready and we noticed a huge patch of mold and the ceiling was wet and soft.
We complained the day after as didn't want to deal with it, the hotel said seeing though we were leaving the next day they would pay for our dinner at any restaurant we wanted in Atlantis so we took that.
Then on our return to the States we were informed by a friend that they called The Atlantis and wanted a gift card delivered to our room for a wedding gift, how nice! But he was informed that we had canceled our trip!
He left it a couple of days and tried again, they said yes they are staying here and they would deliver it to our room. Anyhow we never did receive a gift card.
So overall this was not the best experience for the price you pay to stay here. It seems you are really paying for the water park and your surroundings which I can't knock, outstanding!
I highly recommend the beach towers at the Atlantis. As they are not as nice as the Coral Towers...the rooms were very clean/nice & the beds comfortable. For the money it was well worth it! Great service & the staff was extremely friendly. Felt safe as well!
Atlantis Stay at Paradise Island Beach Tower Hotel
The room was older and needed upgrading, the bed linens were dirty, and the shower towel racks were broken. The carpet was old and there was no micro-wave. When we asked to have the sheets changed, the maid complained and told us the sheets were already clean.
For the price of this stay, and the location (Atlantis), I would have expected a much better room.
The food cost more than the stay - it was just too expensive.
Swimming with dolphins was the best part of the vacation, however, we had to threaten the Atlantis Staff for a $200 refund, because they initially denied us reservations (except on the day we were departing Atlantis).
This vacation was NOT worth the money.

The best place to be! It is a little heaven on the earth. But a little expensive when it comes to dining, would be nice if they can offer better meal plans. Absolutely everything is the best!

double occupancy required?1 answer
It seems that whenever I see a good deal on your site it requires double occupancy. What's a single to do?

Barry
Hi Barry--
This is true. We advertise with rates based upon double occupancy because you save money when you share the room with a friend, or family member, instead of paying the nightly rate yourself. So, grab a friend, tell them about our great deals, and convince them they have been working too hard for long enough and need a vacation!

Does this package include entrance to all water adentures in the resort? What does it includes separate from the airfare and hotel stay?1 answer

Phoenix, AZ
The Atlantis All-Inclusive package includes your room, flight, meals and drinks and entrance to the Atlantis Waterpark. Some activities within the Waterpark would be an additional cost such as the Dolphin Swim or Encounter.

Would one adult and two children under 10 qualify as double occupancy stay?1 answer
1 month ago
dc
The first two occupants are charged the double occupancy rate-in this case the adult and one 10 year old. Currently the resort does not charge for children under 12 however, if this current pricing is not in effect at the time you book the other child would be charged the child rate .

What We'd Change
Most of the dining is very expensive, but very high quality thanks to three world-famous chefs and a list of restaurants that offer amazing cuisine.
Why You Should Go
The Beach Tower is the most affordable of the three towers. It's the farthest from the water park, but it's the closest to the three miles of unbelievable beach!
