Great value, rooms were adequate, perfect for sleeping, showering, changing. food was better than expected, mostly buffet style with lots of options. Always found something good to eat. Several sit down restraints with wait staff for those nights you want to have a somewhat formal dinner. Pool side bar perfect location for both beach and pool, tipping early will significantly decrease your wait time at the bar:) Staff was very laid back, but attentive. Good mix of singles and families. Not a wild party resort, but did have live music, dj's, and dancing every night. Bubble machine pool side was really fun. Great place to get away with good mix of activities, party, and being lazy by the pool/beach.

Relaxing with a View

We have stayed at this property before it was Melia and did not know what to expect now that it is all-inclusive. From check in to check out it over delivered on our expectations. We knew it was a great location and a beautiful property but all-inclusive is sometimes concerning as it is not our typical vacation choice. We were not disappointed in any aspect of the trip. The food options were great and the resort made dinner reservations simple. We were there mainly for relaxation and have been to the Bahamas several times so there was no sight seeing or shopping on our agenda. Therefore having a beautiful property-good food- and as always great service providers made for a very enjoyable time for us. We will be back!

The resort itself is beautiful all around. The pools and beach are worhwhile going to, you can end up spending your whole day there because of how relaxing and amazing it is. There's no reason to leave the resort because everything is right there. However, the food at certain restaurants could've been way better than expected. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great time in the Bahamas.

Typical all inclusive resort with terrible rooms

Typical all inclusive beach resort. Staff was very friendly. The Buffet food was really gross, but the restaurant food was good especially Aqua. Our room was not very clean. Towels were stained. We were put on the first floor right next to the kitchen and maintenance areas, which was very loud. The hallways (esp. the carpet) were dirty and the walls were paper thin. The Tv picture was wavy and the haor dryer was broken (which the staff replaced with another broken one). There was no real nightclub. The lobby turned into a big party at night, which was entertaining but strange at the same time. The lobby area and restaurants (besides the buffet) were very modern looking, but again the rest of the hotel was old. Also, the water in the sink and shower smelled like moldy ocean water. Also, the room "closet" smelled like moldy rum. The "mini bar" was a tiny cub fridge with 2 gross beers, 2 cokes, a little bag of cheetos, and a granola bar!! Haha! Just like every other all inclusive place I've been to there were people selling things on the beach, but it wasn't overwhelming. We visited Atlantis for a day and that whole area and hotel were exceptional. I would pay the extra money to stay there next time.
