Amazing Vaca

I had a great time. I was surprised by the wonderful room and how inclusive the all inclusive really was, totally worth it. My one and only not perfect was the slow service but we were on vacation so slow is not bad.

We had a great time

We stayed at the Windjammer over the memorial day weekend. The resort is quite beautiful as it is a series of villas built into the side of the hill. The hills can be pretty challenging but they offer a 24 hour shuttle service anyway on the property and they are very responsive. Our room was a one-bedroom villa and we found it spacious and clean. It was better then what we had hoped for and the balcony was large and comfortable and offered a terrific view of the ocean. The beach and main pool area was clean and well-laid out. The 24 hour gym was really nice. The spa looked great from the outside but we did not make time to use it. We found the food to be a good mix of local cuisine and standard items. It was all tasty. We did the all-inclusive option and felt it was well worth it. The resort has a mini-mart and some little souvenir shops on the grounds which we found to be really convenient. The resort feels very safe and secure. Overall we had a great time and if we ever make it back to St. Lucia we would stay here again for sure.

Nice winter escape

This is only the second time my wife and I have stayed at a resort as we travel more often to Europe than the Caribbean. And let's face it, staying in a resort, though often much safer, does not provide a real sense of the native people That aside, we loved the resort, especially our room (a 3 story apartment, 3 balconies, huge master bedroom and bath, kitchen, outdoor shower on upper sun deck). Our's was unit 151 and rooms matter, here, as my brother had a 2 -bedroom and it wasn't nearly as nice nor as large. The staff was great across the board, food was as one might expect in a resort, and the sea was very calm and welcoming. The tennis courts are great if you're there to work on your agility as there isn't a consistent bounce to be had off the worn astroturf. Still fun, though. Not so much fun, hiking the Gros Piton. 1.5 hours to get there, and then it's straight up the mountain on what's essentially a spillway path of rocks and boulders about 1 yard wide. The descent is just as difficult as the ascent so I would leave this hike to the super fit and adventurous.

Worst vacation ever!

This was the worst vacation we have ever been on. This was our first trip to St. Lucia and we were so excited. First of all they took us to a old outdated villa the tv had so much static you could not hear anything the picture was blurry. The villa had a musty smell. They did update us to a much nicer villa but it was not without lots of phone calls and the we can't do anything on and on.The biggest problem by far was the cats at every resturant. This is so unsanitary, they were free to roam any where one jumped on the railing behind me and scared me so much I screamed. If you know you have this problem at least think of the people who are allergic to cats or who just don't' want cats under their table begging for food . I know they have open resturants but there is no reason you cannot screen everything in,it still would be open. So we spent the whole vacation eating in are room. ( so disappointed) I just came home and cried over this bad vacation and the money we spent. I will never return to this island or suggest it to anyone.

Resort Update
Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort is excited to announce the next phase of their facilities upgrades. On May 1, 2017, they will begin Phase II of their Luxurious North Pointe Villas with work taking place between the Beach and the Spa. As a result of the construction, we anticipate a minimal noise level which not exceed volume levels experienced during Phase I. Guests impact should not be significant.

Their construction team will be on site daily during regular business hours and occasionally on weekends. The area will be safely marked off and separated from the beach. Contractors and site personnel will have accessibility to the site from the service road. Heavy machinery such as excavators, trucks, and cranes will be present as well but will not pose any interference. Any work in public areas that would otherwise be disruptive to their guests will be completed during the resort's closure in September.

Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort prides themselves in their ability to maintain the highest standards and consistently exceeding expectations. For these reasons they will be closing the resort on Sunday, September 3rd, 2017 and reopening on Saturday, September 30th, 2017. This time will allow them to fully complete their enhancements as well as their regular annual maintenance.

All remaining enhancements will take place during October. Interior upgrades in the Villas will take place in November and the early part of December. These Villas are expected to be complete and fully operational in time for the 2017 Holiday Season.
