We were there off season and felt that the service was really lacking. The property is beautiful and since it wasn't crowded we never had to fight for chair by the pool or beach. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. We took their water taxi and ended up wasting an hour at the airport waiting for other flights to come in and then another 2 hours at the bar in the marina waiting for the taxi. Would've rather been at the hotel instead. They also wouldn't let us leave earlier to do exploring in St Thomas, we had to go when they said based on our flight. Not sure we would stay there again.

Return to St. John after 29 years

My husband and I visited St. John for one day 29 years ago when we were vacationing on St. Thomas, USVI. We've wanted to go back ever since, but found it to be prohibitively expensive. Cheapcaribbean.com made it affordable for us to stay at the first class Westin St. John Resort and we had a wonderful time. Everything was wonderful: the rooms, the beaches, the snorkeling and the food. The only regret I have is that I waited until the last day to go parasailing and they had given the captain of the boat the day off. I'll just have to return to go parasailing. I have to praise the staff as they were most accommodating, answering our many questions, and our waiter the first night gave us some really good tips on which were the best beaches for snorkeling. We definitely want to go back! P.S. We even liked the iguanas!

contented and relaxed

poolside room with patio was fabulous. Connections for taxis and excursions were convenient and fun. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Only negative was the pesky "free" offers that actually turned out to be boring sales pitches not worth the free offers.

Memorial Day Weekend at the Westin St. John

This was my second visit to the Westin St. John, and I was not disappointed. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating; our room was clean and comfortable; the drinks and food were delicious. By booking our package through Cheap Caribbean, we received a fantastic value on a great room. I would visit this hotel again without question and happily recommend this website.

The resort offers 174 guestrooms in 6 two-story buildings close to the pool or the beach, and 7 three-story buildings on a hillside overlooking Great Cruz Bay and the Caribbean Sea. All rooms feature Westin's signature Heavenly Beds and balconies or patios and are equipped with air-conditioning, servi-bar, cordless phones, direct dial phones with data port, high speed internet access in all guest room, suites and villas, color TV with in-house movies, cotton logo bath robes, iron with ironing board, coffee maker, AM/FM clock radio, hair dryer, in-room safe.

Rollaway beds are available on request in king bedded rooms only for an additional fee.

The huge crescent shaped protected bay that the hotel sits on makes the sea so tranquil. St. John is so small it feels like you are on your own island.

The boat ride from St. Thomas is quick and easy, but it would nice to be able to land right on St. John.

Not sure where to begin. The hotel is a legend and has something for everyone. Your stay will be a totally relaxing one since there is something for every one. Fine dining, spa, watersports and great Starwood rooms. A very upscale experience.
