relaxing vacation
Stayed for 4 nights starting 8/15 staff was very friendly food was excellent very quiet and not crowded if u walk on the beach to the right of the resort u will be the only ones for miles beautiful beach but not for swimming; pools nice; not for people who want entertainment or partying need to go more towards town very nice and relaxing laid back vacation
My husband and I were at the Westin in Cabo for 4 nights and five days. The hotel, service and food were incredible!!!! We opted for the all inclusive package and it was well worth the extra money. The room was very nice with a heavenly bed and huge walk in shower. We had 5 star dining at all of the restaurants. The adult pool with a swim up bar was great. I loved the infinity edge over looking the ocean. The only negative I heard was from a family with kids who wanted to swim in the ocean. It is a non swimming beach due to the 8-10th waves and tide currents. I will definitely return!!!!
From the time we arrived we were treated like royalty. Fernando greeted us with cold drinks when we got out of our cab. Elizebeth at the desk helped us many times during our stay. Everyone who worked at the hotel greeted us everyday and wanted to know how we were enjoying our stay. The dining was fabulous and the dining managers and staff were simply magnificant. The pools were beautiful and Juan the bartender was great. Besides keeping the cool water and drinks flowing, he did things like make our dinner reservations. The bottom line is that the service is the best and everyone goes out of their way to make sure your vacation is great. We will definitely be goin back. This hotel was the best and most relaxing place we have ever been. I tip my hat to the whole staff for all of their attention.
We really enjoyed our stay the Westin, our room was big and clean, great view of the ocean and watched frolicking whales everyday. The staff was very helpful with our every need. We arrived late in the day and we were hungry, the Cantina was not opened yet but the staff gave us a snack and beers, thanks guys. It was Spring Break and we did not have any of the Spring Break hoopla on the property. The pools were just refreshing and clean, and plenty of lounge chairs and towels. My only complaint is we were not alllowed to take our own cooler down to the beach. If you want a quiet and relaxing experience, stay here.

Room Information
This nine-story hotel offers 243 guestrooms with private balconies or patios overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Guestrooms feature Westin's signature Heavenly Bed: custom-designed, foot-thick pillowtop mattress with all-white bedding; triple sheeting; down blanket, comforter and duvet; and five pillows (two goose down/feather, two hypo-allergenic, and a decorative "boudoir" neck roll pillow). Baths feature separate showers and tubs as well as bathrobes, slippers, hair dryers and designer toiletries. Amenities include high-speed Internet access (surcharge), minibars, satellite TVs, pay movies, radio, 2 telephones, 24-Hour room service, mini bar, coffee maker, individual climate control, ceiling fan, in-room safe (accommodates Notebook PCs), nightly turndown service, and iron/ironing board.
The Westin Cabo in San Lucas is architecturally beautiful. The arched shape gives it real "curve appeal." It's fun to stay somewhere unique and different.
What We'd Change
Strong undercurrents mean the beach is not safe for swimming. But plenty of pools and a water sports center offer plenty of ways to enjoy yourself.
Why You Should Go
The only thing better than having someone serve you a drink while you're lounging by the pool is swimming up to the bar yourself.
