I love arriving at this hotel. It feels like you're stepping into serenity. From the minute you get to Valentin Imperial Maya there's a calming effect. It's quiet, beautiful lobby is very inviting. The grounds are lovely and well tended tropical gardens lend to the calm here. Rooms are very large, beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. The beachfront rooms are my favorite! The french restaurant is truly unbelievable and should not be missed.

RESORT UPDATE, April 2011: Beginning May 2, 2011, Valentin Imperial Maya will begin in-room and balcony maintenance that will be ongoing. Guests will be accommodated in rooms a distance away from the ones being worked on .The renovations are without major construction but it is possible that there will be periodic noise which will only reflect during the day Monday through Saturday.
