Gorgeous rooms, Great Staff, Fantastic Bar Tenders

My wife and I wanted a luxury trip to simply relax and recharge. Even though they have only recently opened, you can see that they are working hard to make this a top notch facility. The resort is beautiful, the rooms are fantastic. The first level rooms actually have Verandas with private lounge and pool access. Amenities, including the spa are up and running flawlessly. They are well thought out, both Architecturally, and service wise. My wife was in heaven. My only suggestion, you might want to spend some time scheduling services before you even arrive to take full advantage of this. They have quite a bit to offer here but bookings happen quickly. We snoozed a bit on this, and missed a couple things we wanted to do because we couldn't get a time slot that worked. All the bar tenders in the resort were good. The guys in the main lobby bar were out of this world good! More than once, I sloshed in from the pool because I couldn't resist getting something amazing here. Keep it up guys! Restaurants; There were four up and running when we visited. When we visited, Cueva Siete, our waiter said, "this is the best!" My wife and I later agreed that he was right. Hands down they were the winner. My least favorite was the Sushi restaurant. I wouldn't say it was bad, I just expected more. I didn't think it was on par with this kind of resort, or even the other restaurants. The selection was just a bit disappointing and the service wasn't at the same fantastic level as the rest of the resort. I don't want to leave Inez Cafe out. The staff and quality was quite delightful, and we dropped in frequently. Beach and pools: I gave a 4 instead of 5 because of the beach. The pools are perfect, and wait staff is fantastic. The beach is beautiful but realize it is still somewhat in a natural state. The beach is actually owned by the government. I was told the resort is attempting to be responsible with their scheduled improvements of the beach. The sand is soft. You can stroll the beach with no problems, or lay out to your hearts content. Just be advised that There are some rocks and broken coral in the shallows that made it a challenge to wade out in to the water. It was also a real challenge to get their catamaran out. You certainly can, I had a fantastic sail in crystal blue water, just be careful. Again, It is still absolutely beautiful, and i'm really not a fan of destroying the natural ecosystem for my whims so I was fine with it. Overall, we would both do it again, in fact we bought a package to ensure that we will in the near future.

Great Stay!

This was a gorgeous, brand new resort in a great location. It's not in the crazy crowded area of Cancun and you won't be fighting for beach or ocean space. The pools were beautiful and so well maintained. The swim up bar was a blast and it was also nice to have the relaxing pool over to the side to chill out when the "party" pool got a little loud. The beach area was a little small and it's obvious that the resort would prefer you be at the pool (unlike other places we have stayed, there were not a plethora of chairs on the beach). The beach however is beautiful and the staff makes sure to keep it pristine, raking the seaweed constantly, which is really nice. The dining options were AMAZING! We had delicious food every day and night, the sushi was our favorite! The Italian restaurant was seriously divine and one of the best meals I've ever had... anywhere. We did make reservations because our first night we tried to walk into the Japanese restaurant, ended up waiting over two hours before giving up (we just ate sushi at the sushi bar that entire time and drank though, no worries)... but I'd recommend reservations even though they'll say you don't need them. The spa was great, and I LOVED that it was included in our stay (with 20% gratuity). The massage I had was wonderful and all of the staff is very professional, you can tell they are well trained and now what they're doing! Service is what makes this resort. We've never had such incredible service anywhere, even at other 5 star resorts in Mexico! Everyone was fun, friendly and so willing to help. The butler service is great and Sergio took really good care of us. The rooms are beautiful, very spacious and all ocean facing. My favorite part was the soaking tub jacuzzi on the balcony... heavenly! My only concern and negative was that the power kept going in and out... which was extremely frustrating. I understand that the hotel has just opened and there are some kinks, but sometimes it would be out for over an hour, right when we were attempting to get ready for dinner. It would also cut off in the middle of the night, causing the air conditioning to jump back up and we woke up multiple times very hot and had to go fix it. Overall, a gorgeous resort with great dining, pools and top notch service! Once the power situation is resolved (they kept telling us it had something to do with the government?) it will be unbeatable!

They may get there

Beautiful (modern) new hotel, hardly a resort. Still under construction from rooms to advertised Services to management. Everyone seems to listen but communication is always lost In translation. The only true complaint was the noise at the pools (their so called DJ) I don't want to spend $5k a week & feel like my kids & their friends Are partying next to me in the pool. The service was top of the line & this property has the potential to be 5 star. I think it is up to management whether they reach & hold that standard or if they poke along as a 4 star catering to locals & happy With no return clients from the states.
