What I love about this resort:
This legend is located half of mile from the beginning of the Gap, and therefore very centrally located for the trendy area (The Gap) with restaurants and nightlife. The hotel itself is basic, but clean and comfortable. Dover Beach is across the street. The Red Rock Bar & Bistro restaurant is a great place to meet locals. Also, there are two small markets close by, with Scotty's being a favorite stop. Scotty's serves very good take-out food that can be eaten on-site and is a good place to grab a drink with the locals and other tourists.
What I wish I could change:
Its not beach front, but the lovely Dover beach is just across the road. But then again, you are not paying beach front prices.
Why YOU should go:
If you are looking for a value priced property in a very lively area, with comfortable accomodation, then this is the place for you! You have access to the Dover beach which is a lovely stretch of golden sand. You'll have great access to the exciting night life.

Time Out at the Gap is the perfect place to take a break! And, the location of this Barbados hotel is one of the best places to do so. Time Out is located in St. Lawrence Gap, across the road from the very beautiful Dover beach. During the day you can frolic in the sun and relax as you sleep off those late Caribbean nights. Lots of restaurants and nightlife are within easy walking distance. However, you may choose to stay in the hotel to have a drink or two and an evening meal in Time Out at the Gap's restaurant, The Red Rock Bar & Bistro, which is popular with visitors and locals alike. With the beach directly across the road, guests can choose between luxurious white sand and the hotel's freshwater pool, situated in a tropical garden. On Dover Beach, across the street from the hotel, vendors rent out kayaks, small sailboats, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, Jet Skis, windsurfers, lounge chairs, and umbrellas.

**The Red Rock Bar & Bistro (formerly The Whistling Frog Restaurant) - Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, in a friendly and casual environment. In the evening, it converts into an exciting sports bar featuring live music, games and karaoke 7 nights a week. They are open for Breakfast at 7:00am and will remain open until 1:00am. Serving premium brands at Happy Hours from 5 to 6pm & 9 to 10pm daily and with regular drink specials outside of our Happy Hours.
