Nice stay at Royal Palm
Once again, we got another stellar vacation from Cheap Caribbean! the Royal Palm was lovely! We had an oceanview room with private balcony and hammock and there was a hottub in the room as well! The pass-thru doors for each room were a great idea! The food was fine - nothing to rave about, but standard for an all-inclusive resort. One, small complaint would be that there aren't enough floaties for the pool. If you don't grab one by 7am, you can forget it until later around 4:30pm or so when people start heading in for dinner and abandoning them. Also, it would be nice to have some sort of pool butler or attendant to show you to an area/set of lounge chairs and somewhat keep track of where folks are. We saw one elderly couple who had their belongings spread over three different locations around the pool so other people couldn't use those chairs/beds! Olympus tours who provided the ground transportation to and from the hotel were great! They were easy to spot in their bright orange polo shirts. They were friendly and efficient. We definitely plan to book another trip thru Cheap Caribbean.
We have stayed at the ROYAL Cancun twice, each time enjoying every moment. The staff, without exception, is pleasant, accomodating, and cater to every need. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and tastefully appointed, (I especially appreciate that each has a beautiful view of the ocean). Each restaurant offers first class dining. I am looking forward to returning again and again!
We spent a little more for this hotel than some other all inclusives in the same area, but I'm glad we did. The room was awesome and the bed was like a black hole - so comfy, it was impossible to get out of it! There were several different restaurants to choose from, and we tried all of them except for Chef's Plate, which was booked. We chose to relax on the beach instead of at the pool, as the water was gorgeous and we were the only ones there!
The drinks were flowing, the food was plentiful, and the room was great. We couldn't have asked for anything more!
This was our 6th trip to various all-inclusives in Mexico. The Royal Cancun was by far and away the best yet. It earned every star/palm that it gets. Fantastic resort, service, food and fun.

The Olympic-sized infinity pool with a 164-ft (50-m) lap lane and a starter block is an amazing spot for a refreshing swim at sunrise, while the oceanfront tranquil pool, with in-pool fountains and two heated Jacuzzis, is sure to bring on the Zen. Canopied shade beds and loungers are also available around the pool as well as an array of in-pool sun chaise lounges. Take advantage of the swim-up bar when it's time to whet your whistle.
