awesome! we opted to not do the all-inclusive and go off the property for outr meals. great choice!! we rented a car and got to experiance Jamaica, the people outside of the resort. felt safe, met friendly people... however always eager to promote what they were selling! Ritz will bring you in a mini refrigerator and microwave at no extra charge, so that was great! Everyone real accomodating to us even though we were'n't your mainstream type of guests. would do it again this way!
We got married at the Ritz Carlton Rose Hall. Service We got married at the Ritz Carlton Rose Hall. Service was phenomenal and everything was flawless. My coordinator, Cameon, was exceptionally attentive. My family and friends all had a wonderful time and were sad to leave.
This was my second stay there and I am sure my husband and I will be back again soon.
The beaches can use some tending to however, Montego Bay is not known for it's beaches. I know this because my family is from jamaica and have been all over the island.
The proximity to the airport and fabulous service make the Ritz a great vacation destination
I also would comment on the meals. Cuisine is great. Jerk center is a must! Staff is fun and food even better. It is actually better the advertised Scotchies down the block. The escape to luxury package makes life easier but there are some limitations to it.
The resort becomes very quiet after like 9pm so probably could use some more entertainment options other than the not so great lounge singer. Other than that, the ritz was perfect!

Great place to stay, but don't fly Spirit
This hotel was the best. They went out of their way to make you feel special. Great hotel in ever aspect.
Now for the bad news, Spirit Airline was one of the worse travel experience I have ever had. Both ways were a bad experience. They stranded 30 people on the way there and stranded 15 on the way back. I was 1 of the 15 on the way back. They did not offer any assistance and would not promise me a flight out for 2 days. It ended up costing me an extra $750 for a flight out with another airline and the hotel.

The all inclusive plan does include all food (3 meals a day plus snacks) and beverages including liquor, draft beer and wine by the glass. The pricing for the all inclusive plan is based on the room category you choose and your dates of travel. If you pull up the package your interested in and select your dates of travel, once you arrive at the upgrade page, you will be give the option to upgrade to All Inclusive and pricing will be available there.

for 4 nights , 5 days $700 that's why we opted to rent a car for 7 days, eat off the resort and go stay at another place for the remainder 3 days, so we could see more of the island

Historic Rose Hall Great House is only five minutes away, but the resort's 1500-ft secluded beach is tough to leave. Guests can enjoy sailing, kayaking, snorkeling and windsurfing lessons in the waters just past the white sands. You can fritter the afternoon away on the comfy cushioned lounge chairs around the large, free-form pool. Hungry or thirsty? Use a flag to signal the staff, and they'll bring you refreshing drinks and delicious snacks. Mangos Bar is right there for tropical fruit cocktails and beer, too.
