The beach in front of this resort within a resort is private, and it's divided, so the squeals of children do not disturb your serene moments on the brilliant white sands of Bavaro Beach. The same thoughtful planning went into the resort pools, which include a separate area for children, as well as one with underwater pool beds, poolside spa and a swim-up bar for the adults.

Ready for a gourmet experience at the Vento? We loved the smoked salmon cr?pe for an appetizer. Luxurious dark wood furniture in this Mediterranean restaurant stands out against white linen and beige walls, conveying a quiet elegance. After the salmon, keep the freshness coming with the Chilean sea bass entree, prepared with soy and mushrooms in guanabana sauce and served with grilled watermelon.

The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana is actually a resort within a resort. It offers more luxury and privacy than the main resort, as well as providing access to most of the main resort's facilities and entertainment, including a casino and an 18-hole championship golf course. Suites at the resort feature luxury amenities, including two-person Jacuzzis and nightly turn-down service. The kids will love that PlayStation(R) game consoles are available on request in the Family Suites.

A five-minute walk from the Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana Resort takes you to the Plaza Bavaro shopping district, or, if you prefer to hit the newer Palma Real Shopping Village, there is a hotel shuttle, which runs every two hours. One of the best attractions in the area is Manati Park, only about 15 minutes from the resort. Orchids and other tropical plants grace this theme park, where you can interact with dolphins, watch a cultural show and purchase local crafts

Located 35 minutes from Punta Cana Airport and 90 minutes from La Romana Airport. The resort is approximately a five-minute walk from Plaza Bavaro Shopping Center, a 15-minute drive from Manati Park (eco-park with dolphin encounters) and a 60-minute drive from Higuey.
