NOT WHAT EXPECTED AT THE CLUB HOTEL AND SPA

First I would like to say the Cheap Caribbean is a great company, have used them many times for our trips to the Caribbean. They are organize, instructions that are given are to the tee. The Island is amazing, people are the nicest people I have met. THE ISLAND IS SAFE!!! we took the local bus everywhere. My experience with the hotel was not to our expectations. We have stayed in MANY all inclusive hotels. by far, this was the worst one ever. We read comments, TripAdvisor and decided this was going to be the one. Being an experience traveler the hotel did not meet the expectations. Starting with the room had to pick up the dresser because the drawers would stay open all the time. Bathrooms was extremely uncomfortable when showering the water ran out that you had to put towels to stop from running in the entire bathroom. No space for your toilette in t he bathroom and in the shower. The King bed was two mattresses put together in the middle of the bed you had the hole. The pool area was very nice and quite. The Beach was not what I expected we did know that it had a rock wall, there was no beach to lounge out and the beach was full of rocks. The sports activities, it was 11am no one was using any of the sailfish and the hobie. They told us we need to make an appointment for 1pm or 2pm during which these hours are during the lunch hours; this was another disappointment. Entertainment none a DJ just playing music.

Loved it

I went knowing that it was not the newest resort, and that there wasn't a "beach" Our room was beautiful with a great garden few. All the servers were amazing, and the pools were cleaned everyday. The beach was there but small but still got the feel. If you're looking for a nice relaxing vacation- the club is for you. If you want more of a party scene go somewhere else. It was our honeymoon and they did a lot to make us feel special.

LOVE BARBADOS

This is our 2nd trip to The Club Barbados. The staff and the dining makes the trip most enjoyable! The staff is ALWAYS helpful and fun. THey should receive 5+ palms!! Everyone appears to enjoy working there.... The chef is fantastic! For an "all inclusive" resort the food is "exceptional"! He too should receive 5+ palm ratings! We love to snorkel and don't mind the short walk to the nearby beach. There are plenty of fish and nice coral to view. The swim to the wreck is easy and each day offers new sights! The only reason I rated the beach 4 is because our favorite beach was not directly in front of the resort. The beach directly in front of he resort is a little more difficult to enter; but we snorkeled there also. Both beaches are fine for beginning snorkelers. We took several excursions,(Harrison's cave and a short island tour to see the north and east sides) Last year we swam with the turtles. We were very satisfied with all of the tours. They were reasonably priced and enjoyable.

vacation spot

the resort was clean and the staff was great. the food was excellent, but if you don't like birds then you may want to think twice about going here. the beach is right past the dining area and if you take a 10 minute walk down the sand another beach awaits your splash.it is very relaxing and enjoyable.a good investment.
