Nice & reasonable.
The Sheraton was nice but NOT on the beach (close but maybe not even walking). The people were really nice. The dinning choices were very expensive. Limited balcony choices.
Short distance to Old San Juan - ride the bus for .75 which was fun and cheap. Hotel had a private party the first night and therefore pool was unavailable.
Spa was really really nice. Great workout room. Casino was small but ok.
Great Mexican food right across the street - Would NOT have wanted to stay at Old San Juan Sheraton in case you were thinking of changing - this one on the blvd was much better - less busy.

Great Trip
We totally enjoyed our trip to San Juan. Transportation from the airport and back was great. The Hotel was real nice, but Pool bar closed at 6:00pm and Pool deck closed at 10:00pm. The Club room access upgrade was O.K. but if your a late arrival to hors d'oeuvres don't expect much. Also Club patio closes at 8:00pm. I would have been nice to be able to sit out under the lovely sky and have drink and chat with friends. But no where to go. No balconies per say. We did see approx 20 on west side of building. Over-all a great location to everything.
This is a first class hotel. Excellent room and pool area.staff very friendly and helpful. Thumbs up for the bell boysalways ready with your taxi and information
Just came back from San Juan Puerto Rico. Amazing time seeing the sights and being back in warmer weather. Old San Juan is a great place to visit especially with the two forts. Great history and great authentic food. Everywhere we turned, we had an amazing opportunity for some great pictures. The architecture is so different from where we live.
The one thing that we learned while we were down there is that there really is not a whole lot of public transportation. While they have taxis galore, the price for them is not cheap. You are better off renting a car. Bring your GPS or rent one. Signs are not as abundant as they are in the States.
Would recommend to anyone to take a trip at least once to San Juan.

You can take the bus over to Old San Juan or Condado for food. Bus 21, 53 or express. The cost is 75 cents and it's only about a 5 -10min ride and you will find more restaurants/bars there. There are 2 restaurants inside the hotel. Texas de Brazil and another one and one other kitchen for on of the bar areas. Texas de Brazil is about $45 per person and absolutely fabulous and worth the money. There is also expensive room service. There is a Sizzler (buffet) near the hotel that is about a 10min walk. That is about $12 per person. There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms so we struggled with food the entire trip. You can rent a refrigerator for $35 a night. This hotel may off a meal plan, I would check into it.

Yes, you may book a trip to most of our resort locations as a single traveler. When you are pricing out a trip online simply change the number of travellers/passengers to 1. The website defaults to two passengers but you can change the booking to reflect more or less passengers, number of rooms etc. Once the number of passengers has been changed the package will be priced for one person only, including the resort and the airfare.

what is the best way to get an all inclusive package for 3, when we r not all flying in from the same location?1 answer
AM looking for all inclusive package for 3, however we are all flying in from difffernt locations...NYC, LAX, and MIA. All the inclusive deals i I've noticed on this site includes air travel. We would be willing to figure out our own air travel, but still looking for an all inclusive resort in either PR, or any other carribean island, (excluding Jamaica, or Bahamas), for under $500 per person for 4 nights.

Please note that Puerto Rico does not offer any all inclusive properties. If you are interested in traveling elsewhere and booking an all-inclusive package with travelers flying from multiple cities, you would just need to call into our reservation center, and a sales agent would be more than happy to assist you in booking a vacation package that best meets your needs. You can also book a land-only vacation package either on our web site, or over the phone with a sales agent, and purchase your own airfare.

No. There is a public beach in Condado which is 1.5 miles away. You can take a cab, about $10 (ridiculous) or simply get on the bus at the hotel and it will take you right over for 75 cents.
