When it's time to plan your Caribbean vacation, three gorgeous pools, a stunning beach and great dining makes the Sheraton at Nassau in the Bahamas your personal Eden. With the optional All Inclusive package you get meals, water sports, and a room with a balcony or patio overlooking the waterscape, beautiful gardens or Atlantic Ocean. Cable Beach is just steps from the resort and is perfect for kicking off your flip flops and sinking your toes in the ivory sand. If you want to do more than catch rays, try your hand at sailing or kayaking. Or grab a snorkel and make friends with the fish roaming the clear-blue Bahamas water.

Sheraton Nassau resort
this is my 2nd time at this Resort, it's very cozy, and the staff is Great! when we flew in this time there was a weird Tropical storm that lingered for 2 1/2 days but, you can never perdict weather. but, they had stuff for the kids to since they could not got out side. then we had some Departure issues going home delayed for 5hrs, But again these things happened. But, overall we had amazing time and can't wait to go back:)
I was weary after reading some of the reviews on this hotel but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotel was clean, and the staff was pleasant and always willing to assist. Unfortunately for us it rained for 3 of the 5 days we were there which made our stay less enjoyable than expected but woulnt hesitate to return to the hotel.
The Sheraton was a nice hotel. We used the Majestic Tours add-on for transportation to/from the airport, which was quick and easy. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Service in general is not fantastic in the Bahamas, at least from what we found, so the service at the Sheraton was no better/worse than anywhere else.
The pool was a decent size, and beach was as well. No beach is very large in the Bahamas (except maybe at Atlantis). We were always able to find a lounge chair at the beach. The pool is a different story...get up early and reserve your spot with your towel!
The food was decent, breakfast buffet was yummy and worth the money. We never ate dinner at the hotel, except room service one night, so cannot comment on dinner options.
I really liked the ladies (independent of the hotel, apparently) in the lobby who helped you book a tour to anything on the island (or off). They were very helpful and it was very easy to book through them. It was nice having them right there.
The Sheraton is further away from downtown than I had anticipated so we ended up taking taxes everywhere. That can be pricey, with the usual trip being $15 one way. I'm sure you could try to bargain the rate down, but we found that they really don't haggle much there. In other words, they will let you walk away.
Nice place, I would recommend the hotel. I would not recommend going to the Bahamas, though. Too much price inflation for my taste in an island. That might just be the way of the Caribbean, though. This was our first experience there.
Best trip ever. My son really enjoyed his graduation present and he can't wait to go back. I just wish they had more of a variety of food to choose from off the room service and buffet menus.....The rooms were beautiful and the grounds were very clean. But beware of peddlers trying to give you free breakfast or activities if you attend 1 hr.meeting, because they are trying to gain your private information. And do not leave your things unattended while on the beach and beware of diverting conversations, because peddlers will swipe your belongs. Me and my son watched this happen twice from the balcony of our hotel room. But overall we had a great experience.

How can I get this package for $289?6 answers
Most of the advertised deals you send me end up considerably more expensive than advertised prices. I am interested in getting away with my husband with this deal but the $289 price is nowhere to be found. Know of any reasonably priced vacations flying from Orlando?

We always show our best price from the lowest priced city so you can sort package prices easily. Orlando simply click on the Quick Search tab on our homepage by selecting your city or just use this link and see all Orlando pricing! Thanks!

The specials and deals are constantly changing.
Your best bet is to make sure you are receiving
frequent emails from Cheap Caribbean
pattynbobbyd
Use cheap Caribbean. Com I'm sure you could find a 289.00 room - package for your vacation mine was 750 with air and hotel stay from Chicago for 5 nights at Sheraton.
ttype
no smoking in the rooms, you can smoke in the casino, at the beach and at pool side.
Erimac
I think when they have great advertised prices, you have to get right away, because they only have so many at that price and when they are gone, they are gone. This hotel was nice and we enjoyed it, check cheap carribean or Travelzoo web sites.
Bonbon30
Is it true that the final price is different from the advertised price, because the dates, the occupancy and of course the taxes, but if you buy separately air tickets, hotel and attractions you will find that the Cheap Caribbean’s packages are convenient.
Monina
In order to get the advertised price, you need to read the fine print, like where it fly's from and dates it's available for that price.

She told me that a fine is imposed if smoke is detected in a room.

States
The all-Inclusive plan is actually a Meal Plan which you can purchase at an additional cost. The Meal Plan includes meals but not alcoholoic beverages. The unlimited meals and drinks "all inclusive" plans are generally found in Mexico, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.

Unfortunately, that is very hard to estimate as you are not limited to eating at the resort and there are many dining options in the area to choose from.
ccsusan1
Depends where you eat 100 per day per person is fare if you dont eat in all the high end restaurants. Adult beverages are expensive though.

Rather swim in a pool? The Nassau Sheraton has three beautiful pools with flowing waterfalls, huge whirlpools and a swim-up bar. Kids can ditch the parents and join the excitement at the Kids Adventure Club, where the friendly staff offers well-supervised fun. Volleyball and basketball are also available.
When your stomach starts growling, the Sheraton Nassau Bahamas has four restaurants and two bars to satisfy your craving, whether it's for a quick bite poolside at Dolphin Grill, or an elegant, sit-down meal at Amici A Trattoria. We especially recommend the Creole/Cajun fare at Bimini Market.
If you feel like gambling, you can try your luck at Crystal Palace Casin, just next door to Sheraton Nassau. And this beach resort is also close enough to the Straw Market to indulge in a little retail therapy. Or take a cab ride to Dolphin Encounter, where you can swim with dolphins and sea lions. For the history buff, Nassau offers a wonderful glimpse into 18th-Century Bahamas, with Victorian mansions and cathedrals, and the Queens Staircase, where 65 steps take you to a stunning, panoramic lookout.
Finally, when the fun is over, head back to your tastefully decorated room, where Sheraton's Sweet Sleeper Bed is waiting for you to rest up for another awesome day in the Bahamas.
