Caribbean Jim's Comments:

What I love about this resort:
This hotel is true to its name that it really feels like a hacienda. From the small chapel in the cobblestone courtyard to the Sheraton Suite Sleeper beds, to the inviting pool that's always just the right temperature..... A great place for honeymooners, destination weddings, a spa adventure, or just a quiet getaway.
What I wish I could change:
The property is quiet which can be the perfect escape. The nightlife of Cabo San Lucas is a cab ride away.
Why YOU should go:
Los Cabos offers something for everyone from fishing to golfing, sunning to spa....the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar offers all those and more.

Amidst 28 acres of quiet gardens and along a private beach lies the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Resort & Spa. The old-world hacienda architecture, deluxe guest rooms, fountains, cafes, and shops evoke the rich history of the Baja region. Flagstone paths, Mexican antiques, beamed ceilings, oversized ceramics, huge paintings and tile artworks, courtyards, fountains, and candlelight throughout the grounds after dark create a Mexican ambience that attracts families and couples.

Find total relaxation in the Cactus Spa, a member of the Starwood Spa Collection, featuring classic Swedish massages, signature Cactus facials, sauna and steam rooms, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Or cool off with a swim in one of three swimming pools and float over to Delfines swim-up bar to order your favorite drink.

Four heated, freeform, natural-style pools lined with faux-granite are edged by flagstone and crossed by rustic log-railing and stone bridges. They are surrounded by cushioned wrought-iron lounges and umbrellas and include a children's and toddler's pool and spa tubs.

The resort is beachfront, however, although it's ideal for strolling and sunbathing, the resort's beach is not safe for swimming because of rocks and powerful undertows.

The Sheratoons kids club is open from Tuesday to Sunday between 9AM and 5PM for children aged 5 to 12 years old. Sheratoons offers a complete range of activities for all ages including arts and crafts, pool time, movies and games. This service is provided by a certified and bilingual staff and a surcharge will apply.

Opened daily, the business center offers a full range of services including printing, faxing and copying services as well as internet connection. Internet connection cards can be purchased directly at the concierge desk and range from $4 for a quarter hour to $77 for a full week. Prices subject to change.

The hotel received the Conde Nast Traveler's Top 100 Golf Resorts award in 2006.
