Punta Cana Secrets
Attended wedding. Good vacation. Only problems were delay in checking in our room on arrival, poor communication and service on check in, pressure to take interval vacation tour, and useless coupons. Food was best we have had with excellent service in restaurants. Would go back to resort. Good service with transportation from and to airport with Olympus Tours.
The food was horrible. We went off site to eat. For an all inclusive, you had to have cash on you at all times for tips otherwise you weren't getting drink. Very disappointed.
Just returned from a belated honeymoon at the Secrets Royal Beach resort. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos on the website. Just beautiful. Everything was clean, and the service and staff were great. There was always an activity or show available if you were interested in that, but we were perfectly content to just lounge by the pool for the week. The food was quite good for a resort buffet and although we had access to both the restuarants on our property and the adjoining Now Larimar property, we found that the variety of the nightly buffet offered most of what you could get in the restaurants anyway. We aslo used the spa services while there which was also very nice. My one complaint is that upon arrival, you are immediately asked to sit with a member of the hotel sales group to get information, at which time they ask you to meet them them the next morning so they can have you sit for a 90 minute sales pitch about buying into their Unlimited Club. You feel bad for the sales people because it's how they make their living, but it just wasn't how we wanted to spend our time and I'm not sure it was the way you want to be welcomed to a resort after you had spent the day traveling. I would definitely visit this resort again without question.

Awesome!!
Just went to Secrets on 01/21/12 to 01/28/12. Had an awesome time. Food was so-so but the rest of the resort made up for this. Everyone was super friendly and willing to go the extra step for you. I highly recommond Secrets Royal Beach for some fun and relaxation.

Are you able to pay for the trip through the deposit program on limited sale trips? (i.e. there is a sale ending june 8th but can travel until oct. 31st.)

Yes! You can place a deposit on our sale packages as long as it is booked outside of 21 days prior to arrival.

No, find a differnt hotel, or even better a differnt Island. I've been to Saint Thomas, Aruba, and just recently the DR. I would never go back to the DR and would definatly visit the other 2 again in a heartbeat. However if you are heart set on the DR try to find something a differnt hotel, it might cost you a little more but you will definatly be happier.

Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana offered a romantic dinner on the beach. I believe it was $85 per person. You get to pick from a special menu. The service was great at this hotel so basically anything you want, I am fairly certain they can do.

You will also have the opportunity to take part in that resort's evening entertainment.
Terms and Conditions: The Sip, Savor & See Program is only good for dinner. This is not a day pass. Guests must make arrangements in advance through the resort concierge by 3pm, including arrival and return times and restaurant selection. Guests may choose to dine at any of the restaurants that are serving dinner. The offer applies only for four guests per dining experience. Guests are responsible for cost of transportation to and from the resort.
