Great service, good room accomodations but food absolutely not acceptable. Small veriaty, extremaly small buffet (one only) and small amount and very poor veriaty of friuts and vegetables. Almost no tropical fruits and you have to "hunt" for it. Mangos were not ateble! Salads very poor! Lots of desserts, if you like them. Relaxation on the off shore island gerat but food again...fast food type-burgers and fries.

Just returned from Sandals Royal Bahamian - overall not a bad experience - some things could use tweeking. Rooms are old and could use updating - always felt damp, including sheets. Lunch menu was lacking, never were able to make your own sandwich with cold cuts. Sandwiches that were made "almost' had meat on them. Night dining options were very good. Beach and pools very clean but lacking in large enough umbrellas for shade and very few umbrellas overall. There is no room service available for dinners or late night eating. Breakfast room service is only continental. I felt that the overall product was overpriced. I have received better service and quality from two other well known all inclusive resorts for less money. Not sure if I would ever go back for the price Sandals charges. Would definitely go back to the Bahamas at a different resort.

Stayed at the Royal Bahamian July 15-20. We enjoyed this resort very much. We have stayed at 1 other all inclusive/adults only resort, but this one was much more impressive. Everything is clean and very well taken care of on a daily basis. Lots of dining options. Large beach area, plus private island offers even more beach areas in a quieter setting. Evening entertainment was enjoyable. Service can be a little slow at times, but..."island time" is fine by me when I'm on vacation! Would love to go back some day!!
