Two miles of St. Lucia's top beach sits right out in front of this 17-acre palace, and guests have access to every inch. Five freshwater pools are available for guests to splash around in or just laze next to. One of these, a lagoon-style pool, meanders throughout the property, offering guests the opportunity to swim right up to select rooms. Around the pools are nifty features for couples, such as two-person hammocks and two-person lounge chairs with privacy shades. A Romanesque pool is inset with a 30-person spa tub and a 360-degree, swim-up bar.

When it's time to graze, Toscanini's offers succulent Italian cuisine; Josephine's has a delightful assortment of French delicacies, and Gordon's oceanfront dining is matched by its extraordinary view of Rodney Bay. For nighttime "to-dos" try your hand at a theme night. Sunday's Grande Casino Night sports a 60s and 70s vibe, while Tuesday's Island Romance theme might just keep you up all night, and Thursday's St. Lucian Street Party gets everybody dancing. For a calmer experience, stop by ye Olde London Pub or Palladium for a casual party that goes on well past midnight. When daytime rolls around, catch a game of table tennis with your significant other, break out a board game or rack up points at billiards.

Don't underestimate the value of the Honeymoon Lagoon Swim-up Concierge Room. Just steps from the lagoon pool, there's something to be said for sliding right out of your back door and into a refreshing pool of fresh water. If you'd rather say tucked away inside, the 24-hour room service and freshly stocked bar will keep you well satisfied.

Sandals Grande St. Lucian is six miles northwest of the town of Castries, on a causeway between Pigeon Island (National Landmark) and Rodney Bay. Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) is 40 miles away (1.5 hours) and George F.L. Charles Airport (SLU) is six miles (20 minutes). Round-trip airport/hotel transfers are included for all guests traveling to Sandals Resorts.
