What I love about this resort:
A favorite of honeymooners, this romantic adults-only resort sits along the powdery white sands and calm waters of Antigua's Dickenson Bay, just 3 miles from the capital city of St. John�s.
What I wish I could change:
Restaurants require proper attire in the evenings, which means long pants, collared shirts and shoes for men and skirs, dresses, capri's and pants for women. Also, remember to bring sunscreen and film for your camera as it can be expensive to purchase on island
Why YOU should go:
The $70 million 180-suite Mediterranean Village, situated on a west-facing hilltop overlooking the ocean, is newly opened . Guests now have access to a large freshwater pool, and poolside cabanas with plasma TVs and wireless Internet access. Arrayed around a fountain courtyard, Sandals Grande Antigua is a couples only resort.

Both group activities and privacy are available around the densely planted grounds.

Three medium-sized and one large pool are situated around the grounds. Eight-person spa tubs are paired with the smaller pools. Surrounded by a thick garden, the large pool comprises a good-size round section and a smaller section that curves around a two-sided swim-up bar. Adjacent is a 20-person spa tub. The beach fronting the resort provides a half-mile of nearly white sand.

The majority of amenities, activities, and gratuities at this resort are included in the room rate; guests will not be charged extra for the majority of amenities and activities (scroll up to the All-Inclusive Details section for more information).

This resort is a part of Sandals Resort's Signature Collection. Guests at Signature Collection resorts receive the following in addition to the standard All-Inclusive package:

There is an an air-conditioned health-and-beauty spa with treatments, men's and women's saunas, steam rooms, and skylighted relaxation lounges, as well as a hydrotherapy room with twin treatment tables for couples. Surcharges apply for spa and beauty treatments and services.

The Courtyard Grill - Casual snack spot open late mornings to early evenings; reopens after dinner period and remains open until breakfast service begins. Serves hamburgers, fruits, french fries, salads, and other fast foods.
Sundowner Bar - Beachside, open-air bar serving tropical drinks, beer, wine from late morning until late night.
Piano Bar - Air-conditioned bar/lounge open until late night.
