Good Value
I only have one complaint about my trip. When we arrived in our room there were dead bugs and spider webs, YUCK! When we arrived home our clothes smelled musky because of the humidity and dampness in the room. Otherwise, Sabor was great for the price. Staff was very helpful and informative. Food & liquor choices were good to be all-inclusive.

Very nice for the $$
Did 7 nights at Sabor Exclusive side with add-on transfer and a snorkel trip. GREAT value! Transfers both ways were easy and quick, with no problems at all. When you book exclusive side, you get an express check-in that was really great - we were in the pool within ten minutes of stepping out of the van! We had a pool terrace room - spacious and clean with 2 beds, couch, dresser - lots or room to move around, and bathroom was also big with walk-in glass shower. We had a safe, coffee maker, and fridge that they stocked daily, although we asked several times to leave us Coke, not diet, and that didn't work, but we also had water and beer, so no worries. Patio had table, chairs, hammock and stepped into our own pool area that connected to the big pool. Very nice, but there was only one place to climb out of pool, so it was inconvenient to sit in many areas because you had to walk all the way around pool to get back to your lounge. Nice pool bar, though, and great bartenders who made good drinks. Take your own insulated cup and straw - theirs are very small plastic cups and no straws. Food was pretty good at Mosaique, and excellent at Robertos, but a pain to have to go make reservation between certain times every day. Buffet was not that great, but not terrible either. Best part of exclusive side was the free room service, so got coffee, and breakfast - fruit, omelets, french toast delivery every morning. They set it up for us on patio and were SO nice. For entertainment, there was karaoke one night at one of the bars, screened movies by the main pool one night, a live band one night. They had BBQ cookouts on the beach and by the pool two nights. Beach was ok, but very rocky - great for snorkeling though! The snorkel trip we booked was pretty cool - saw starfish, sharks, dolphins and had all the beer and margaritas we could drink. Very cheap! Drawbacks of the exclusive side were that it was a long ways from the beach but positive was that it was quiet and relaxing. Pros of the resort were that it was a great value, great size, friendly staff. Cons were that it was a $15 cab each way into town, and they don't offer any shuttles, and it was all couples, so my friend and I felt kind of isolated. But for a nice relaxing week in a comfortable, friendly place, you can't beat it.

The Picture is not worth a thousand words
The resort rooms are average at best. The service was ok as was the pools. Beach behind resorts was not that nice either. It was not worth the money due to fact there are much better all. inclusive deals for the same or less money! I would bring the star rating to a 2.5 vs a 3.5.
Also the picture looks much better than the resort itself.
FYI: Don't rent the mopeds on site. When you turn them in they will find damage to charge you for even if there is no damage done to the moped!!!!!

great vacation
Upon arrival we were taken to the exclusive side of the resort, then were told that hotel management had decided to upgrade us to a suite. The room was awesome! Private pool to a private slide to the private pool bar. Beautiful beach awesome water great for snorkeling. Will be going back!

To get the most up to date pricing and to answer all your questions for such an important vacation, we ask that you contact a CheapCaribbean sales agent at 1.800.915.2322. Prices are constantly changing due to live airfare. They will also be able to assist with picking the best honeymoon vacation spot.

Josiah, I would book the Aura Cozumel Grand Resort All Inclusive. It is actually part of the Sabor but is the exclusive part of the resort and much nicer. It claims endless romance on the package you can book now.

Guests who upgrade to Sabor Islander - Adults Only or Sabor Pool Terrace - Adults Only have access to The Sabor Exclusive Club.
KellyCC
The Exclusive Club is available at an additional cost. You would have to select the room option which includes the Sabor Exclusive Club features and the package would be priced accordingly. You are also able to price the package at the special rate for three people by simple changing the number of passengers to 3 and the package will price airfare and resort for three individuals.
ccsusan1
Yes but there is no that much more to get other than a slightly larger room.

How much is the upgrade to exclusive ?3 answers
we have seen a lot of reviews that say to upgrade to exclusive because it makes the stay b tter for a few reasons. but no one says what the cost is. anyone who did this know? thanks

USA
The Preferred Club type of experience may be what you are referring to as "Exclusive" and is typically an increased level of amenities. It is a wonderful addition to any vacation. Unfortunately Cheap Caribbean does not offer that category and would not be able to price that option for you.
ccsusan1
we stayed for 5nights 6 days and it was 195usd
Shanti
About $600.00 and it's not worth it!! Only different is the rooms are slightly bigger and you get one additional pool that is nothing special.

Yes, that is true. We don't think it is worth paying the extra $$$. You will have to walk a lot to get into the "fun" area".

yes, it is always possible to add additional nights to a special that is being offered. If you would like to receive a price quote we ask that you contact CheapCaribbean at 1.800.915.2322.

Approximately 125 dollars per day plus the additional air fare and change fees. Which are not cheap. Change fees alone with American was $165.00 per ticket.

This resort does not have a disco offering dancing all night, however guests are welcome to dance in any of the bars located on the premises.
ccsusan1
There is no club to dance, people do dance sometimes by the beach bar at night.
Vania
NO!
ChaLi2012
No. There are a couple of bars and people were dancing on the patio of the swing bar when there was a DJ, but not really a club or much dancing anywhere.
Ilovebluewater
Not so much a club but a lounge with a DJ, with more than enough room to dance.

If you book the Sabor Islander or Sabor Pool Terrace rooms in the Sabor Exclusive Section, spend the day paddling around three glistening, interconnected pools that weave their way through the resort, ensuring you never get stuck too far upstream without a refill from the resort's two swim-up bars: Sabores and Bambu. Or stroll the silky sands to the private pier to take in a romantic sunset, the perfect mood setter for an intimate dinner at the resort or a sister hotel.
When it's time for after hours fun, head on over to Bar Azul in the main lobby to dance the night away, or tour all five of the hotel's rockin' bars. If you wake up and the world's still spinning, grab an eye-opener along with your breakfast at La Isla and then head to the Islander Spa, where you can relax the day away in the steam room and take a dip in the Jacuzzi, or beat the stress with a couples' massage in a private cabin. Once you are ready to take on the world again, stop by the beauty parlor to get manicured and coifed, then take in a show at the resort's indoor theater, or meander over to the hotel's theme party.
If motivation strikes, Sabor Cozumel Resort & Spa has plenty of ways to work up a sweat. Spike some calories at the volleyball courts, stop by the fitness center to run, squat and lift your way to Adonis shape, or score love on the tennis courts. Fancy yourself a game of night tennis? No prob; the courts are lit for all your after-dark match points. Just don't forget to take in the natural lighting of the star-studded night sky before heading in to another night of good times.
