My Wife Says We're Going Back
This was our second all-inclusive experience, first all-adult upscale. The Royal Suites lodging is at the far end of the resort from the Royal Suites private beach area but the dedicated golf cart transportation was always available within 10 minutes. The Royal Suites private beach area has wait staff (don't miss the daily late morning fruit!) or you can walk a few steps to the bar. The staff was very attentive and friendly in the lodging area, at the beach, and in the restaurant. Like most people we are accustomed to fending for ourselves but within a day we learned to welcome the service. We stayed 4 nights - the BBQ dinner at the beach was a meat (him) and beach (her) lover's delight, the mexican restaurant was pretty good, and two dinners at El Jardin (exclusive for Royal Suites guests) were wonderful. The beach was good for some nice walks at various times of day. Our room was great, we both slept well.

Royal Yucatan
We had the best time at the Royal Suites in the Riviera Maya. The Royal section is just a part of the much larger Grand Palladium resort. The Royal section however gets many perks that the rest of the resorts don't get to enjoy. Those perks are what make staying at the Royal suites so enjoyable. For the money, I don't think there is a better place to stay.
We visited the Royal Suites in Feb 2010 this was our third trip to the Palladium but our first time at the Royal Suites.We loved it!!! the resort is great and all of the amenities were great,private beach,pools,restaurant we had our own butler a very large Jacuzzi on our deck....the service was outstanding... we always find the staff at the Palladium to be the best,they go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. definately will recommend to our friends and we will return,many times.

Getting around large properties2 answers
With so many properties in the Riviera area of Mexico being part of larger (sister) properties, how does one get around? Are there trams or golfcarts for the guest to use? I am not able to do much walking but like the idea of staying in the "Royal" areas that are adults only, but also want to visit the other restaurants that are available. Any suggestions on best room location is also appreciated.

The Royal Suites is a cluster of buildings, lobby, pool, and restaurant. Based on our one stay I would not recommend one building over another. We were on the first floor; I suppose a higher floor is a better view but we did not spend much daylight in the room. The staff runs a couple golf carts (approx 6 passenger capacity) that can be called by staff at any lobby and at the beach bar. We never waited more than 10 minutes and that was during a week of very high occupancy.

130 rooms in 3-level villas with garden views, sofabed, jacuzzi, bathtub and shower, Satellite TV, minbar with drinks refilled daily, tea and coffee making facilities, air-conditioning and celing fans, terrace or balcony with table and chairs or sun beds. Why You Should Go
