At first looks great.

When you walk in it looks great. As you stay you'll realize they really just want to sell you a timeshare. The rooms where ok, but the furnature in the lobby was falling apart. The things that were going to be in our package, like the intro dive lesson was never available, there was no Brazilian dinner, and only one choice for dinner besides the buffet. There was one other choice but it looked like you had to be part of club Solaris (timeshare member). You also had to be part of club Solaris to get anything extra. Yes food and drink where included. However our whole family got Moctazumas revenge on the last day. There as a hurricane while we where there. Maybe the purification system was down.

Low Quality, Low Class!!

We stayed a total of 1 night before we were saved by our travel agent from cheap Caribbean after she received our email complaining and requesting a change in resorts (it was Mexico and our phones couldn't make calls out). First 2min upon arrival, there were screaming and crying children not being attended to. Second it took 15 -20min of "information giving" which really was them telling us what else we could purchase and all we wanted to do was get settled in. Third, after checking in, as we made our way down the hall to our room is when the low quality of the resort set in. The hallways smelled of old mops. The staff did not speak fluent English and responded "yes" and smiled acting as if they knew what we said, when the questions asked didn't warrant a "yes" response. 4th the shower had ZERO warm to hot water-yup cold showers on our anniversary trip! 5th the pool was filled with ghetto guests in a drunken stooper being continuously served drinks even w/a posted sign indicating the staff would refuse if you were too intoxicated. The drunk people weren't fun drunks, they were annoying drunks, splashing and talking to closely to your face, staff didn't speak English so were no assistance. 6th drinks were the lowest quality alcohol and it tasted as if they put water in the beer!! Wow! The food was worse than a ghetto buffet and made me Nausious! No ATM for cash. Low class, low quality sums it up.

First Time to an All-Inclusive Adventure

Wow! This vacation really knocked our socks off! First time for me and my sweetie to Los Cabos, and first time at an all-inclusive resort, and it certainly exceeded all expectations. This was a good time to travel: low season, so the Royal Solaris was not crowded, and there weren't too many children. We delayed our departure by a day so as to avoid Hurricane Newton, arriving a day after it had passed over as a category 1 storm. There was some damage, and the pools were closed for maintenance to remove all the same that had blown in, but otherwise, all was up and running, albeit with a slowdown of the internet. The staff at Royal Solaris were gracious and welcoming, the room was clean and well cared for daily, and the food was amazingly elegant in the Marco Polo restaurant. Breakfast buffet was more than adequate, and all the food selections satisfied this picky eater! We had booked optional tours to the Point and to Todos Santos, and enjoyed both immensely with our super knowledgeable guide Zacarias. Our airport transfer was smooth and timely (booked through Cheap Caribbean) and I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone. Gave only 4 palms to beach and pools because the beach, tho beautiful, is unsafe due to the riptides. As to Cheap Caribbean, I was impressed with customer service when I called to inquire about what happens when there's a hurricane. I got good advice from the agent, who took care of making the adjustments to our bookings. We look forward to another Cheap Caribbean adventure soon!

Los Cabos

We spent our last 2 days doing nothing. The pools were close due to hurricane warning. Did not enjoy it... Disappointed .

Royal Solaris Los Cabos Resort and Spa: Explore All-Inclusive Family Fun

If the stress of everyday life has your family ready to vote each other off the island, then its time to escape to a Mexican paradise at Royal Solaris Los Cabos. The all-inclusive deal includes five restaurants, three pools and a water park for the kids.

Speaking of pools, Royal Solaris has the perfect one for you. The main pool is where the action is, including games in and out of the water, plus a swim-up bar that's perfect for sipping a Corona and watching the volleyball game. Looking for something quieter? The adult-only relaxation pool is music-free, allowing you to relax and worship the sun in peace. For kids, there's an awesome water park with slides and splash sites, where youngsters have so much fun they feel sorry for grown-ups.

While the little ones are at the kids club, sneak off to the Spa in Cabo at Royal Solaris, where you can indulge in a four-handed massage offered outside among the beach breezes and gentle waves. Once you're relaxed, you might have a yearn for something tasty. Grab a snack at Las Pergolas snack bar right by the main pool, or, if a snack just won't cut it, dive into authentic Mexican fare at Panchos Restaurant. Lunch under a Mexican palapa on the beach at Rosmarinus is bliss itself, but for dinner try Marco Polo, which offers delicious Italian fare in an elegant setting.

Once night falls, the fun continues with nightly shows for the family. Feel the heat at Latin night where the dancers and flashing colors whisk you off to another world. Karaoke night lets you become a headliner with your fellow guests, and Mexican night features a live Mariachi band and Mexican hat dance.

If you and your love are considering a destination wedding, this Los Cabos resort is a great choice. Here, the bride is sure to be as beautiful as the setting. The best part? After the rings are exchanged, the happy couple gets to continue their fun in the sun at Royal Solaris for their honeymoon.
