Fun, Fun, Fun!

I cant say enough good things about this resort. The place is very casual and tropical complete with resident iguanas. The room was very spacious and casually decorated. The weather was very windy during our stay which stirred up things in the ocean preventing the pretty Caribbean blue colors and washing up some trash, but it was still nice. The resort staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, calling us by name. We enjoyed snorkeling and horseback riding through tours that the resort set up, and both were outstanding. There were a lot of complimentary services that we enjoyed including biking and yoga that were very nice. The yoga at the end of the pier every morning by a Certified instructor was awesome. Best yoga studio ever. The resort was about 4.5 miles from the village so we could bike to the village which we enjoyed. Food was fresh and delicious. We will use Cheapcaribbean again!

The Best Caribean Experience!

This was my frist trip to Belize and I can not wait to go back. I have been to several other resorts all over the Caribean through Cheapcaribean and this was the most expensive for the value still it was my favorite. While the resort is old and rough around the edges, I loved the atmosphere, the location and the service and that is why I would recommend it. In addition, the village of Placencia which is about 4 miles from the resort has excellent restaurants and shops which we enjoyed.

What's to Love

Chic, boutique-size resort with tons of laid-back charm (no need to dress up here!)

Refreshing pitchers of Sangria at Habanero's. Just what the Beach Doctor ordered.

You can rent a golf cart from the resort (about $65 a day) and zip around the island. You're on vacay so get a lift, right?

"Beachcombing" is welcomed - the water along the shore is shallow & down the shore you'll discover natural Belizean landscapes.

Getting a massage with the ocean waves gently rolling in near you - the "Sea Spa" is amazing, and is aptly named.

What We'd Change

It might seem like you're traveling across the world to get to paradise, but once your toes hit those soft sands and your nestled into your low-key life, you know it was worth it.

Why You Should Go

Located on Placencia Peninsula, 18 miles of pure paradise. Placencia Village is only five miles away and Seine Bight Village is a half-mile away.

The water is filtered and safe to drink, but bottled water is also available.

Near some top attractions - for one, the largest barrier reef (think dramatic colors of fish/coral), but also tropical, lush Rainforests and Maya Ruins. You will want to see. And you should.

On Saturday night, the resort hosts a Poolside BBQ with live music, food and fun.

Fresh, tantalizing Belizean food available at Seaside, located on the beach at the resort.
