Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas impressive architecture and 642 deluxe guestrooms are set in a spectacular enclave facing one of Los Cabo's famous landmarks. Sunbathing terraces with padded lounge chairs and flowering gardens, two mirror-image complexes feature heated freeform swimming pools with infinity edges, semicircular jetted sections, and in-water lounges. One pool is for activities; the other is a "quiet" pool. Each complex also includes a heated swim-up-bar pool with infinity edges, semicircular jetted sections, tables, and stools.

Although it's ideal for strolling and sunbathing, the beach in front of the resort is not safe for swimming because of powerful undertows. Medano Beach's safe-swimming and water-sports area south of the resort can be reached by walking 400 meters (437 yds) along the beach.

A health-and-beauty spa with five twin-bed treatment rooms includes women's and men's saunas and two open-air spa tubs accommodating up to six guests. An Internet/game room contains four computers with high-speed connections (surcharges), table games, and coin-operated video games. An ocean-view fitness center contains cardio and weight machines.

The majority of amenities, activities, and gratuities at the Riu Palace are included in the room rate; guests will not be charged extra for the majority of amenities and activities (scroll down to the All-Inclusive Details section for more information).
