PERFECT VACATION

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this vacation. We booked everything through Cheap Caribbean. Got to the airport in Cabo San Lucas, checked in with our transportation and sat and had a beer while we waited for more of our party on the bus to wait with us. We did even have to wait 10 minutes and we were off to the resort. Took us about 30 minutes to get to our resort, when straight to check in. They had everything ready for us, staff was extremely nice and accommodating, answered every question we had about out stay so sweetly and informative. The room was two twin beds pushed together to make a King, but that wasn't a problem for us at all. The beach is beautiful, we stayed in the "Adult" pool and the pool with the swim up bar for the majority of the time and it was wonderful. The Bartenders were awesome and were not shy on alcohol at all. Wonderful variety of food and amazing service in each of the restaurants whether you're there for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner! We also booked our excursion through them and it was smooth sailing! They picked us up, dropped us off, had a wonderful sunset dinner cruise, was never waiting around. Everything they said was to be true! We CANT WAIT for our next vacation!

Best bang for your buck!

This was the most unforgettable trip of my life - for positive and negative reasons. The trip started out amazing, and when it was time to leave, Tropical Storm Lidia decided to make an appearance. However, we were in great hands even without electricity and running water due to the damage. Service - The service, hands down, was incredible. There are probably 200 people on staff at all times. You barely have to lift a finger. Even throughout the tropical storm, the staff was putting the customer first. Make sure you tip them - they deserve it. Beach and Pools - You can't go in the ocean at the beach, but it's still beautiful. Great view of the famous rocks and arch. There are people constantly trying to sell to you, but that's pretty common at most resorts. The pools were probably the best part. Very clean and never over-crowded. Dining Options - I wish there would have been more dining options, but everything we had was very tasty and well cooked. The alcoholic beverages were made very well too. Make sure you make friends with the bartenders! Room Comfort - Very happy with the room. Always cleaned to perfection. AC could have been a little cooler, but I like my room freezing when I am asleep. Tips: Make sure you book your transportation to and from the airport through Amstar!!! Diego was amazing and deserves an award for his positivity and communication. They will also get you great deals on excursions. We did the glass bottom boat tour. Totally worth it.

Great friends vacation

This is the second Riu palace I stood in Mexico and overall the service is great the people and staff were friendly and helpful. The views, good, environment, room, food, beach , pool and people were awesome. The only thing I that I can change is the selection of music by the swim up pool. We had to go to the Riu across to jam to better music. I also like that we were able to enjoy the other Riu being able to use pool and beach was also a nice place but the palace is better overall. I definitely recommend this place. It was my friends first time at an all include and they had s blast. Thanks to the rep that recommended this location. Great pick.

Fair

We spent our time here for our honeymoon during a tropical storm. The resort itself was amazing! Nice, clean, amazing food and service! However, we lost water and electricity for 2 days due to the storm and they also quit serving us alcohol because "drinking people cause problems." Which highly upset us because we paid for "all inclusive meals and drinks." Not serving us what we paid for upset us more. But I do understand the situation. However, I will definitely plan ahead next time and completely cancel my trip if there's a chance of rain rather than chancing it

What's to Love

No reservations needed at any of the restaurants.

Blue sparkling pools with dynamo ocean views. Pic opp moments, for sure.

Within walking distance to Cabo's El Medano Beach - you can swim, jet ski or bar hop along the shores.

Swoon-worthy views from your balcony - ocean or resort, either way - it's stunning.

Freshly made guacamole for your morning, afternoon, or late night snack. It's delish.

Resort is geared for families and mature adults - not your rowdy spring break revelers.

The Entertainment Team keeps things lively and when you want to let loose, Pacha disco is open at night.

Staying in your room and dining with 24-hour room service. Because you're a rock star.

What We'd Change

The beach out front isn't swimmable - the undercurrent is strong, but you can the pool is gorgeous and has the best ocean view.

Why You Should Go

Perfect location in Cabo - a short trip from the airport to the resort and close to Cabo's nightlife.

Riu's commitment to top notch service will win you over the moment your flip flops hit the resort.

Whale watching is epic here. Best time to see these awe-inspiring creatures - mid-Dec thru mid-April.

Stay sporty - tennis, volleyball, ping pong are included, and for a fee, ride horses on the beach.

See the famous El Arco (meaning "Land's End") from the resort. (Go there and take a Selfie).

RiuLand keeps the kiddos entertained. And, you? Book time in the spa. You deserve it.
