Best place for a honeymoon!

We chose this resort for our honeymoon. BEST. DECISION. EVER! After all the stress that comes with planning a wedding, the Riu Antillas was the perfect place to forget all the stress and focus on ourselves! We were greeted at the hotel with some glasses of champagne and a nice bellhop brought our bags up to our room. And what a room it was! A corner spot about halfway up the hotel with a GORGEOUS view of the ocean and pool area. My husband and I had never stayed at an all-inclusive before, but we can definitely see why it's popular. All the food and beverages were taken care of (including a small 24-hour room service menu). We had bottle dispensers IN OUR ROOM as well as a variety of mixers, that could all be replenished at just the touch of a button. The food was great and the staff was excellent. I liked the different activities that were part of the resort (bocce, darts, pool games) as well as the water sports available on the beach (for an extra cost). And you could also take advantage of the restaurants and such at the Riu Palace next door. Overall, Aruba is a wonderful island that we will definitely be visiting again, and we would 100% recommend the Riu Antillas for anyone that's looking for an adults-only getaway.

I was a little disappointed in the hotel itself. It wasn't super clean. The price was a little high for the quality of the hotel. If I were to compare it to the Hyatt Regency in Kaiwai, the Hyatt would be a 10, and the Riu would be a 5.

One Happy Island

The RIU Palace Antillas is perfect , located on the beach. my wife and I walked from the pool to Caribbean sea several times a day, The breezes were fantastic. the Antillas is an all inclusive .adults only resort, This made dining.enjoying the pool and beach area that much more enjoyable,Service everywhere.from waitstaff to housekeeping to poolside entertainment was excellent, I have to thank the resort manager. Justin.for being more than helpful planning a day trip , Justin made himself available at every meal .making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. The food was terrific at the buffet as well as the specialty restaurants, Bar service was fantastic too, The added benefit of staying at the Antillas is you can use all of the facilities at the RIU palace next door, Needless to say .my wife and I had a wonderful vacation at the RIU Antillas in Aruba and will try to get back there as soon as we can.

What's to Love

All-inclusive everything: the cocktails, the grub, the utter awesomeness of it all.

No reservations needed at any of the restaurants.

It's right in the heart of Palm Beach where you can revel in with white sand, teal waves and Caribbean breezes.

Leave the kiddos at home. It's only beach-loving adults at this resort. Is that applause we hear?

Don't miss ordering the Aruba Ahriba drink. It's a specialty. Order up.

Riu prides itself on service, and here is no exception. You'll want for nothing. Prepare to be spoiled.

Activities all day long. Zumba, dancing, pool volleyball - you can join in or cheer on from the swim-up bar.

Eat, swim, drink and check out all the amenities at the family-friendly Riu next door. You have access to use them.

What We'd Change

Sometimes it can be windy on the beach, but find a quiet corner and enjoy the warm, Caribbean sun.

Why You Should Go

Aruba is one of the easiest islands to travel - US currency is accepted, the island is not too big & the people are genuine.

The pool concierge makes getting a drink delivered to your lounger a beachy breeze.

Get your dance party ready to hit Pacha, or test your luck the casino for a little extra cash.

Rent a bike and tour the island on your own, or hop on the public bus that travels the strip and costs less than $3.
