Excellent Vacation

We spent 10 nights at Rondevous and my wife and I loved it. The resort was beautiful, the service and food was great. There was always something fun to do whether it was on the resort or on one of the excursions. The resort had sailboats that were included, and the fact that there were no tvs (although at first scary) ended up being brilliant. In addition we were able to go the the sister resort le body sport, which had a couple things Rondevous did not. For example the snorkeling right off the shore was fantastic, and the sit down restaurant Tao was a 5 star restaurant and was all included in our original vaca price. Although I liked Rondevous better it was nice to get the change of scenary. Overall it was great.

Wonderful!

We visited this resort at the end of Aug. for 5 days. That was definitely not enough time there. I suggest you stay at least 7 days. It rained almost once per day, but it never lasted long. The beach front room was a great location and the rooms very clean. Could use a little updating in the bathrooms, but overall we had a great time. The food was fantastic in both restaurants. There is a dress code for the formal restaurant, so make sure the men have pants and closed toe shoes. We went ziplining which was an awesome experience. Would recommend it to anyone. We also jet skied 2 days which was $40/hour. They drive up to the resort and you just flag them down. Volleyball was fun and the couple massage was nice and relaxing. We took the helicopter back to the airport and saw the pitons. If you have the money, it's worth it. Took us only 15 minutes back to the airport instead of the drive which is over an hour. We would definitely come back to this resort. Met great people there too, since it is such a small resort. Go! You won"t regret it.

Boutique Resorts are more fun!

We loved our stay at Rendezvous! The staff was so friendly and by the end of the week, they knew us by name... one of the benefits of staying at a smaller resort. The food and drinks were amazing. The activities staff kept things interesting and provided fun things to do if you got tired of just relaxing by the beach or the pools. The nightly entertainment was fantastic as well! Another great thing was since it is couples only, there were no kids running around splashing in the pool! I would definitely recommend this resort to any couple that is looking for a fun, relaxing, romantic time.

Each room is air conditioned and furnished in Caribbean style natural rattan or mahogany with a solid maple 4 poster king size bed. We invite you to open your balcony or terrace and catch the sunrise or enjoy breath-taking sunsets over the majestic Caribbean sea. This is an intimate, all-inclusive, adults only resort, perfect for honeymooners or for couples celebrating an anniversary or special occasion. The food is wonderful and the location couldn't be better.

Hewanorra Airport (UVF) is approximately a 90 minute drive to the hotel, but what a drive, the scenery is spectacular.

Experience the island...there is so much to do. On Friday nights, locals and tourists party on the streets into the morning hours, not well known but not to be missed. I recommend shopping at the local Castries market for souvenirs and local goods. Hire a driver to experience the island's natural beauty, including the waterfalls, steaming volcano and of course the Pitons, all surrounding the city of Soufiere. If you can afford, try the helicopter tour - you would not regret it.

Rendezvous resort is located on Malabar Beach and is the resort for lovers. It bills itself as the "Escape for Romantics". A couples-only resort that allows and encourages couples to celebrate each other.

Hand in hand, take a stroll at sunset down two miles of deserted beach. Or stop and relax in one of the secluded hammocks for two, set amongst seven acres of lush, tropical gardens. If it's more action you are in search of, Rendezvous has a variety of land and watersports for two, including a weekly golf clinic and scuba diving.

All guestrooms have private terraces or patios that face the Caribbean or tropical gardens. The hotel features a weekly golf clinic with an on-site golf pro on the putting green and archery lessons and tournaments. The hotel also has two swimming pools. Whatever you are looking for, Rendezvous is sure to deliver an unforgettable, romantic getaway. The hotel offers a complimentary guided bicycle tour.

DINING / BARS:

TERRACE RESTAURANT - Beachfront, open-air restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets that include typical local cuisine. For one evening during the week, there is a beach party with barbecue. Shoes and cover-ups over swimwear during the day and casual dress at night.
TRYSTING PLACE - Air-conditioned fine dining offering a la carte dinner, with silver place settings, crystal, fine linen, and wine list. Open six nights a week and reservations required. Dress is "casually elegant". Gentlemen are requested to wear long trousers and shirts with collars.
TERRACE BAR - Full bar service is available daily, along with board games and table tennis. Evenings feature entertainment such as fire eaters, popular St. Lucian vocalists, or a staff show, with dancing afterwards.
PIANO BAR - Piano music and sing-alongs are served along with premium brands and local varieties.
BEACH SERVICE AND SWIM-UP BAR - Beverages provided on the beach and at the pool.

Every Wednesday evening the general manager and senior staff hold a cocktail party by the seaside pool.

*Meals can be prepared for those on vegetarian, vegan, low salt, and low cholesterol diets. Please notify restaurant manager upon arrival with requests.

*Guests also may dine at a sister resort, BodyHoliday at LeSport, which features dining in an open-air restaurant by the sea, with an a la carte menu and wines included (a supplementary list is also available).
