"Renting a car is a must! You could stay at the Radison the whole time but you would miss so much of St Maarteen. The views are amazing... the service was great. I would go back in a heartbeat." – ChefCB

Radisson St. Martin - Anse Marcel
Wonderful vacation destination! The resort's facilities and food are great, the staff is wonderful, the rooms lovely, the pool and the beach FABULOUS, and the prices extremely reasonable especially considering what you get! Go for it!
St. Martin was awesome! The Radisson Blu Resort was amazing and beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly. I got a virus cold while on vacation and the staff helped me find a doctor's office that was open on a Saturday during Easter weekend and gave me directions and even contacted the Doctor's office to follow up to make sure I found the place okay as we had rented our own car for the week. The Radisson Blu is very nice and has a nice pool and beach. The resort is a bit seculeded which has its own appeal but I do recommend you rent a car so that you can visit all of St. Martin's beautiful beaches. The shopping in Phillipsburg and Marigot was amazing. I normally like to visit a place and then go to a different island but I would definitly go back to St. Martin and the Radisson Blu Resort.
My husband and I stayed at Radisson Blu Resort for the first time and I am quite impressed. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. The rooms are beautiful, well kept, clean, and comfortable. The staff....Kudos to the staff. Very attentive. The staff helped me pull of an wedding anniversary surprise dinner in my hotel room. My husband was surprised and I was in awe, at how one simple phone call to request help and they thought of all the details. We will definitely return!!!!!
Lunch and Dinner options were fabulous, but the breakfast options are limited for the non pork eaters like my husband--there were no substitutions, so he had a meatless breakfast some days. Overall, the breakfast buffet is a great way to start the day.
It is secluded and you definitely need a rental car, but we enjoyed how peaceful it was. If you are looking for the wild side of things...this resort is not for you.
Beautiful property but everything else was awful. Terrible customer service.A few employees were actually rude. We were never told that the breakfast buffet was included or that kayaking(my favorite sport) was free.Another guest told us about the breakfast halfway through our visit and we found out about the kayaking on our last evening. I had to beg for towels. One maid actually insisted she had no washcloths when they were right on the cart in front of me. This was not a language problem since I brought the wash cloth with me to show her I needed another. One time I brought a list of needed towels to the front desk and asked the woman to give it to housekeeping. Then I saw her toss it into the garbage can.The grass wasn't mowed until we were there 5 days. The weeds were 8-10 inches high. The floor tiles looked like a Motel6 property. The elevator hallway was always dark until I took it upon myself to turn the lights on each night. The elevator wasn't cleaned we could see the same smudges every day on the mirror. The elevator itself was old and rusty. The steps to the beach were under construction so you had to walk down a steep incline. I just love the sound of construction when I'm trying to rest on the beach. The C Restaurant wasn't opened during the week and luckily my husband found the outdoor grill covered with flies so we knew not to visit it on the weekend. The worse was coming back from church to discover someone was using our room for I hate to think what- they left a coffee stain on the bed! Worse ever experience in a hotel and we are World Travelers. My 60th Birthday was ruined by this stay. Not worth the money we spent.
